STRUGGLE was REAL, then SUCCESS!!! (Tips & Tricks for Mid Summer Bluegills & Bonus Bass)

My first open water video of the 2023 season, better late than never. It has been a busy Summer so far, I got a brand new boat, 2023 AlumaCraft Competitor FSX 185 w/ Yamaha 150. I have been trying to get used to it and more comfortable with it, rather than focus on making videos. I had a bunch of success fishing this year so far with Crappies, Walleyes, and Bluegills.
In the beginning of this video, I tried 2 lakes that I have never open water fished in my life, the first one I have never fished before, ever. It was a struggle, I think the water was too cold for an aggressive bite, so I filmed the following week on a lake that I figured would be warmer and that I had some success at the year previous. It didn't disappoint, caught some high quality bluegills and a really nice sized Bass. I explain some of the tactics I use for this time of year and show a little bit of the new boat (I plan to do a walkthrough and review vid of the boat in the nearer future).
