the SOHO chapter is actually crazy. Whatever you did you perfectly dialed in night filming. The composition for the shots, the bridges with slow framed clips and the general color grading really makes it feel like you're there, experiencing it for yourself. amazing job man
absolutely loving the "in motion" approach you've been taking in your videos. it takes your already great ability to capture real human moments and lends itself to the context of film. would love to see just a long form version of that. congrats on the great work as always!
The magic you bring to the video, cinematic excellence. I forgot I was watching a UA-cam video about street photography! Absolutely love the Soho video section. BIG hit on the sub button, can't wait for more!
One of my fav videos you’ve done! All the video bits; the colors, the different angles and things you capture, the editing with photos to tell a story. 🎉 beautiful to watch. Thanks!
Love the abstract b-roll in the Soho section. Also that shot with the single stiletto with the blurred movement around it is great. Always interesting to see how other photographers approach a city you know so well. Looking forward to the future videos.
Absolutely gorgeous shots Faizal! It's so interesting to see the place I call home through other eyes. Will keep an eye out for you when I'm out and about shooting this weekend!
Welcome to London. I live outside London and there's lots to see here. Here's a few interesting locations. * Brick Lane and surrounding areas * Brixton * Covent Garden * Battersea Power Station * Tate Modern * Borough Market * Greenwich * Natural History Museum and pretty much all major museums are worth a look. Enjoy your stay.
I didn't like the first few pictures and thought "here we go again - another UA-cam photographer dialling-in ordinary shots". And then you started having one really lovely, smart shot after another. And now I'm feeling inspired to get out into London today, despite the forecast rain, to see what I can photo! Great stuff.
Hi Faizal. A belated welcome to my hometown. It was inevitable that you'd step on a few visual bear traps initially as a visitor. However, I'm glad you soon overcame that. Shooting through acid stained glass was beautiful. There are thirty three boroughs in London and it's difficult to know where to go, but, that's also something to look forward to on a return trip. Looking at how you perceived London was very interesting for someone who was raised here.
Your video production and score selection are a wonderful match... both expressing a creative energy and fluidity. A very pleasing composition, well done. I look forward to the next installment.
Faizal, I’ve been binging your videos all weekend. Love your content, I’ve been learning a lot! Looking forward to the next edit. Keep up the amazing work!
I love how the aspect ratio got widened half way of the vid like diving into a great story. also great music choice. really enjoyed this. can't wait to see more!
You need to have a weekend at the seaside while you are here, I would sugest up north for a bit for a change but I live in Blackpool so a little bias, Brighton is not too far from London but a world away.
if you've got time, I think Battersea Power Station would be a cool spot to visit. A beautiful landmark and now with a lot of buzz around it because of the new shopping center and flats/offices surrounding. Also, some great cities like Liverpool and Manchester would be worth a visit. Perhaps a vibrant football (soccer) match would be a cool thing to shoot pre-match too.
I recently found you here on UA-cam and I love your street photography videos! This one was amazing!!! My favorite was the black and white photo of the car and street below through the window!😍 It made me think of the Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch version!)
Welcome to London, I see you've met up with Eren, his Across Japan book is brilliant. If the weathers poor, head to the Underground - visit Baker Street, Canary Wharf and take in St Pancras. I'm in town Wednesday afternoon and evening. I'll look out for you. You keep posting, I'll keep looking. Oh! Your video colour stripes excellent, and the music too. Thank you.
I’m a Londoner, so might see you around. You should take some photos of The City (ie the Financial Centre in postcode EC1). My favourite building to take photos in The City of is the Lloyd’s Bank Building.
man. your work is always so beautifully packaged. such great inspiration. as someone that lives in London i probably have lost that excitement and inspiration doing street photography here, i much prefer in other countries/cities as it's 'new', but this has given me a few more ideas! thanks as always.
Love the mood and style of this vid! I lived in Melbourne for about 2 years and I was shooting pretty much every day. However, since I moved back to my home country Sweden, I haven´t been shooting street photos since April 2019 as the lack of motivation. Keep it up! This inspire me to bring my camera out again :)
I loved this one! Seems like you stepped up to a whole new quality level. Looking forward to seeing more, but also enjoy your stay in london. Take care!
watching your video after a long working day is great, also you made me think of having a Fujifilm for the 1st time (I always use Sony). Wish you creativity and inspiration everyday!
Enjoy London! I had the privilege of living there for a few years and only love it more after my time there. Make sure to venture out of the center and enjoy some of the less popular neighborhoods too. I know you've got good connections there who will help you find these gems.
Hi Faizal, Great to see you here in London. Love you work. Only been here a few days and already capturing great moments in London. Maybe try the Barbican in the morning. It's a really unique brutallist area of the city. Feels like a 70s Sci fi movie.
Wow Faizal what a beautiful video 😍 looking forward to seeing what new ideas you have planned. Seeing as you’re staying for a while why not come up to Manchester for the day, I’m sure you’d find it great for street photography and I’d be happy to show you around. Keep up the great work 🤩
I just love everything about it, you motivate me so much. Thankyou. Hopefully i can meet you some day and talk about photography. Keep going! Greetings from Madelein :)
A route suggestion for you would be to start out at Columbia road flower market (only open on Sundays), making your way to Brick lane via Boundry gardens you could then head towards Spitalfields, finishing your day off with a walk around the Barbican estate and St Pauls.
your contents are the reason why I entered photography and I've been depressed lately, it helped me a lot it gave me a sense of purpose pls keep making videos on youtube to inpsire others to do photography too p.s. sorry for the bad english shout out from the Philippines 🇵🇭

One of my favorite places in the world. Enjoy your stay! Videos looking incredible 🤌🏻
Amazing Video, I really like the light in SOHO specially 6:25 ( The Blue Coat with the reflection of the red light ).
3:31 - the guy staring out of the window would be such a perfect subject for a cinematic photo.
Love the abstract b-roll in the Soho section.
Also that shot with the single stiletto with the blurred movement around it is great.

Loved the atmosphere during the night scenes. Great music and visuals!
Love your introspective videos. Thanks.
