It's a pleasure to have you in Paris mate ! Thanks for sharing my love for the marché and congratulations for this incredible video ! It's so inspiring to see your vision of Paris. I hope that you've enjoyed Marché Bastille for your birthday haha 🙌
Relaxing voice of Faizal is one thing, besides this beautiful soft color palette I noticed that I really come and watch this guy’s videos to find peace in his song selections.
Your art work and way of storytelling are one, so soothing to watch and learn from but also so inspiring to a younger and aspiring photographer like myself. Thank you!
This is one of my favourites of yours, great feeling to it and I especially love how connected your video feels to your stills. Looking forward to seeing more from Paris!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Saw a video of yours a few years ago and it inspired me to pick up a camera and shoot street photography videos too. There's time when I feel uninspired, come across your videos, and suddenly feel inspired again to get out there and start shooting. Thanks for the massive inspiration Faizal. Looking forward to following your development as an artist! 🙌
This is so good, Faizal. I have spent more than 6 months in Paris over the years. I never tire of it. Les Marais, the cathedral of St Denis (most never go to it), taking the train to Giverny, the book stalls, the green chairs in the parks. Oh my. There is so much. Enjoy.
Awesome stuff! Happy Birthday man! Just like you, I celebrated my birthday in Paris back in March this year. Back then I've only had my camera for a couple of months and the confidence of shooting in public, in a place unfamiliar to me was such a quite terrifying idea. Fast forward to this day, confidence has been building up and when I get back on Paris or even places that I've never been before, I'll make sure I'll shoot tons hahah! Keep doing what you do! Love from Manila.
Great timing on the Paris markets & area, Faisal. Plan on being there at the end of July for a few days, then on to Lyon, & Arles via riverboat cruise, finally Barcelona. Thinking of perhaps using my X-E4 vs my X-T4 , the smaller camera being more discreet (?)
Hello, I just got my Fujifilm X-T30 II and I’m unable to set the exposure compensation. It only works on auto mode. However in auto mode, I won’t be able to use all the film simulations I have. Does anyone face this problem and is there a solution to it?
Great video followup to the last one. I love to see the real Paris. You seem like youre more at peace traveling than at home. youre making me think about sticking to taking at least one video in every public location I photograph, cause thats really valuable too, in the end, even if youre not using it for a project. I love the man black and white man in hate with a piece of restaurant awning foreground. Happy travels.
very cool video as always. can i ask how do you make color correction? Do you use any plugin? Because i have fuji xt-3 i would like to bring out colors like that
Great video! You probably already know this but if you shoot in RAW you can select the Fujifilm film simulation of your choice in Lightroom during editing. I always have fun seeing how my images look like as I switch from Classic Chrome to Astia to Provia, etc after having taken the photos.
Is your video footage all captured on the X-T5 now? If you so, a video on your settings and editing process would be amazing! Love the content as always
It just hurts that my XT-30 is not weather sealed, I'd like to shoot in rain so much, but I am really scared Awesome Video btw! I want to make similar ones in the future :)
Far better markets would have been the Marché President Wilson in the 16th, the popular Marché d'Aligre in the 12th and the very multicultural Marché de Barbès. They are far bigger, more diverse and colorful than the Marché Maubert
@@FaizalWestcott Your journey on photography is quite amazing. I started about the same time you started your UA-cam channel and is nowhere near what you've achieved. To be honest, I was not too much of a fan of the chest mount GoPro footage. However, I am seeing more and more b rolls in your work that actually inspired more than the 1st person POV. These context conveys much more for someone learning photography in general, street or otherwise. Cheers.
Maybe you can learn French. But when you like the style of a photographer, than you will learn always something. Even when you don’t understand the language
Happy birthday. A day to photograph, a week to photograph, a month to photograph in Paris... That is a gift.
It's a pleasure to have you in Paris mate ! Thanks for sharing my love for the marché and congratulations for this incredible video ! It's so inspiring to see your vision of Paris. I hope that you've enjoyed Marché Bastille for your birthday haha 🙌
Quel feat !! Deux talents de ouf réuni ! Good job both !
wonderful! I enjoy watching these vignettes through your perspective and lens. Always exhilarating going to a new place

I love your videography equally well as your amazing photography
That means a lot!
Really enjoyed your journal and images. Happy Birthday and best wishes

Really felt that line on being dependent on light in finding joy when shooting. Looking forward to seeing everything you've got on your Paris trip!
Happy birthday, the videos are so inspiring, love the work!
Loved this, man. Music selections on point. Felt cinematic.
Thank you!!
Happy birthday. Inspiring video as always 🎉

It was pretty cool to witness :)

what was that jazz music playing it was gorgeous
I love this street videography parts. That was so fresh and inspiring! And the music great too!
Keren banget kak karyanya 🇮🇩
Really enjoying these videos
Great video, Faizal! I like the mood you created while making it. And the music is also very well chosen, love it :)

X-E4 will do well here! but the size difference between those two cameras is probably not going to make much a difference
Happy birthday Faizal!
Another great video! Love your inspirational content 📷👏🙌
Happy birthday! I always follow your videos, I love the artistic style you give them, greetings!
Thank you so much!

Absolutely loved every second of this. What camera/lens combo did you use to shoot the video with?
Happy birthday and thank you for the video !

Ah, I miss the Parisian markets. Thank you for allowing us to experience them again.
nice video, i was lucky to watch this yesterday😂
real ones watched it yesterday lol
@@FaizalWestcott haha true
LOL! I was half way through when it just stopped and said "video was private."
That's what I thought too haha...
Selamat ulang tahun Faizal! It's always great to watch your video. Have a blast in Paris!
The passages also offer great photo opportunities. Check out Passage Jouffroy.
Happy Birthday!
Are you using a gimbal for video? Its so pro looking!
Happy birthday 👏👏👏
Belated happy birthday and love from India.. Wish, you will travel to India someday.

What camera was Jonathan using?
happy birthday!
I love the color and the style of the video, is it a simulation film or an edit ?
The color of the video was edited in Resolve!
@@FaizalWestcott Tanks a lot !

Haha, I will soon!!
Happy Belated Birthday!
Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, dude.
Bang Faizal, Gimana kabarnya? Kangen Indonesia nggak? Ada rencana travel di Indonesia?

I started following your channel on photography, but I find myself digging your cinematography more these days. 😆
Thanks! Been putting a lot of time and effort in improving my video skills :)

Is Faizal an Aries or Taurus? 😊
Us Tauruses are born between 20th of April and 20th of May.
Aries!
Please, Faizal, could you make the subtitles larger to read for us old blind guys 🥸
