Johnny Paycheck is a great great Singer and did not get recognized as he should have. He could stand with the best of them. He is real good with Marty Robbins but you know I believe Marty Robbins appreciated ALL singers and just people in general just all folks. I use to listen this man's music back in the day only to find out he had a very troubled past of having sexual relations with a 12 year old girl, having also shot a man in a lounge in Ohio, was also into theft drugs & alcohol. with all he done I was surprised he only spent two years in prison for shooting the guy in the lounge & the sexual relations he had with the twelve year old girl much got away without serving any time for & very bizarre he escaped jail & was on the run but all over all his sentences was all reduced to not to serve any long sentence for all the crimes he committed when he was suppose to.
Johnny is one of the most underrated country singers of all time, in my book he's right up there with Jones and Haggard....
Paycheck should be in CMA Hall of Fame
