could you make a video on ferret enrichment ideas? unless you have something like this already :)
What's your reasoning for wishing ferrets to be kept in pairs or in a group of four? What if someone had three at home? Is it a matter of jealousy or something else? I'm confused/worried if a friend of mine needs to get another ferret to even out the group. They started with two but got another after their 15 year old daughter wanted another ((she's mature and homeschooled so no worries about the ferrets getting love and good care/enrichment))

As a pet store associate it really hurts knowing how much stuff I sell is actually garbage for not only ferrets, but some of our other animals as well. Personally I find our ferret merchandise to be a horrid selection. I'm thankful I've found this channel and I hope to further my interests in animals to help better my associates' understanding on nutrition with our animals.

I finally convinced my dad to allow me to feed my future ferrets raw. (I had saved 1K from watching my sister for 4 years, and showed him that I could feed them for awhile with it) So thats cool.

My ferrets have a cage but they have 6-9 hours a day usually 7-8 on week days because of school work and other stuff but on the weekend it’s usually 10 hours they are in there cage at night or when I’m not home tho because I have other pets and I can’t watch them

Not all ferrets want palls, some are really agressive with other ferrets and like to live in solitude
I have a question, I am strongly thinking about getting a ferret. Only here in europe a lot of the research is saying that ferrets are actually sollitude animals. Now after seeing quite some youtubers all seem to support keeping multiple ferrets in a group. I read that this can be quite stressfull for ferrets, except for when you have them as baby's. The only thing that worries me when doing that is that they can be depressed when one passes away.. what would you recommend?

Omg guys I'm about to take my first ferret. Yesterday my parents told me that I can get one and I was like crying for joy. I will also take him/her from a private seller so that I'm sure that my little pet is healthy and ethically bred. I have read so much about them a I'll keep doing it (you're never too ready). He/she will be born in May and I will be able to get him/her in july/August. This is my first time so tips are welcome 😊
Thats so exciting! You probably know this but you should definitely have the ferret cage set up along with a ferret proofed room and food/water. Sorry to be annoying with this obvious advice lol.
@@edagregory2007 oh thank you so much for your advices. Don't worry you are not being annoying, you're just providing the correct informations. About the cage I will let him free rooming all day because I have a big bedroom and I prefer free rooming rather than shutting him/her in a cage. I will obviously ferret proofing my room so that I'm sure he/she doesn't get into trouble. I can't wait to bring him/her home. If you have other advices I'm glad to learn. I want to give my ferret the best care. Thank you 😊

@@edagregory2007 don't worry if you can't let them have free room all day. I'm sure you are providing them the best care (you are following this UA-cam channel so that's obvious XD). About the name it's hard to choose one there are so many beautiful names (I don't even know if I'll get a she or a he XD) but will tell you for sure when I'll come up with a good idea

I hope you reply to this because I need help, I have two ferrets, Ziggy and snoopy and I feed them a frankenpray diet but as we are in quarantine there is not a lot of their diet, if I really really really need to can I give them kibble. I live in Australia and there is a kibble for ferrets, I went to the factory, it is handmade and I know all the ingredients, should they eat it?
Since school has gone out, i’ve been trying to let my ferret out all day, I want to let her out at night , but i’m worried she’ll get into something while i’m sleeping but i also know she sleeps when i sleep. would it be a bad idea to leave her out all night if there isn’t anything unsafe in the room ?

Hey I am getting 2 ferrets on Friday there both boys and we want to do the raw food diet like you do but they are going to need to be transitioned over to the raw diet from the food they are currently eating what would you recommend I do for there food on a day to day basis. There only 3 months old.
