- Join us as we watch the F-35C Lightning II from the Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA-125). Also known as the F-35C Demo Team. This footage is from the Spirt Of St. Louis Airshow and STEM EXPO. This content consists of portions of their practice day on Friday and footage of their demo on Saturday and Sunday!
Watch as these talented fighter pilots give an outstanding aerial performance over the crowd in St. Louis MO. This was my 1st time being able to film the F-35C the naval variant of the Lockheed Martine Joint Strike Fighter. The F-35C has a bigger wing that can fold for Carrier operations. If you notice it also has really beefy landing gear to be able to handle the stress of Aircraft Carrier landings at sea.
This supersonic capable aircraft is the most advanced and capable fighter in the United States Navy's inventory today. The vapor was insane on both days and the lighting was perfect. The humidity on Saturday had the ideal conditions for some epic vapor to come off the wings of the F-35C Lightning II.
The United States Navy also performs a Naval Legacy flight. In the air over Chesterfield Missouri an aircraft formation that had a span of over 80 years. The Navy Legacy Flight formation paid homage to all the men and women who served in the USN.
