You talk at the end about how the studio seems to act like the 2008 movie doesn't exist. This resonated with me a lot because with both Mark talking over as Bruce and redesigning Hulk to look more like him it made me think that the 2008 movie wasn't part of the MCU.
Can we talk about why Bruce needed a disguise in Thor ragnorak after he changed back when all that planet knew for 2 years is hulk. They didn't even know who Bruce was. 🤷♂️
i think this consistency on the script comes from the fact that zak penn wrote _the avengers,_ the same dude who wrote TIH. the script was then rewritten by whedon, but considering how he basically regressed the character (and i would even suggest a self-insert cuz of the natasha thing) in AOU, i think he basically didn't touched the hulk and just added some small quippy dialogue.
My kids watched the hulk for the first time after loving the MCU until phase 4 of course, they said they wished Norton would have stayed hulk! I completely agree 💯
It would be cool to see you do a similar video of the soft reboot of the Ang Lee hulk into the incredible hulk Bc even tho officially they're not connected like ruffalo Norton there are definitely thrulines and homage paid that one if inclined can connect the dots Like 03 ending with him in South America and 08 starting with him even deeper in Ferrigno as a college security guard and so on I don't want to give you all of them just some of the easier ones. Even something that looks like the Jericho bomb in ironman
Just for fear that you DO end up making my video suggestion but don't share my love of the Ang Lee film I'll give you some more so you have the ingredients to make the cake Ang Lee takes place in 03 08 he's been running for *_FIVE_** years* 03 ends with him helping locals (Avengers finds hulk once again helping locals in a disinfrachchized part of the globe) He's looking for a cure as he said he would in 03 Ross wants to weaponize Betty hasn't spoken with her father That's all that come to mind without watching both back to back lol
An intriguing idea, though I'm not certain there's enough of a connection to make a whole video about it. Who knows though. It's been a long time since I've seen Ang Lee's Hulk. Either way, I think I'd wanna make a video about Hulk (2003) some day. I remember there being a lot to like in it.
I recalled initially disliking them removing Norton from the franchise but I was OK with Ruffalo's version of the hulk as they didn't really stray away from the character's core initially. The time when they made some pseudo love story between Bruce and Black widow (offscreen) annoyed me and It felt like it didn't need to exist in the movie. I still think it was shoe-in. The time when Thor fought the Hulk, and basically won made me go eh, idk ...but I was still OK, then they reduce him to some scared character followed by prof hulk (offscreen) ...everything that happen to this character is off screen, because they don't care for the character. it's ironic that marvel is destroying their own characters rather than a 3rd party doing so this time round. The she-hulk series really solidify this and seeing that they're "born again" with the daredevil series, i expect not an absolute cohesive story but some bait and switch bs they have consistently been doing...from wandavision, loki to moon knight..I expect karen to be a mary sue now, rather than the PTSD ridden lady who stood up courageously to fight against her demons and the dangers around her...Foggy probably would just be a comic relief character a 100% rather than a character with actual emotions and depth... man, how did we reach this impasse?
I always like Norton as Banner he looked more like the character from the comics but also understand Norton is somewhat of a perfectionist and can be difficult to work with he's a great actor don't know the man personally and wouldn't speak on someone's character it's just what I read I was very disappointed when they replaced him
Ruffalo on his own merits is not a bad Hulk. A lot of people blame him instead of blaming the writers and directors. He was great in Avengers and Age of Ultron, after that he just kind of never got back to that level ever again. Which sucks, but then again Disney and Marvel have shown again and again that they have no idea what they’re doing nor do they care. (i.e. She Hulk)
Norton IS Bruce Banner!. Ruffalo looks like a pumped-up jock rather than a scientist. Also, I have trouble with the way he scientifically describes thing. It doesn't feel natural.
I kinda refuse to believe that the professor hulk is the same as Edward Norton’s hulk but unfortunately they are the same. Maybe if Edward Norton was still in the MCU professor hulk never would’ve happened
MCU (2008-2016): How can we break down these iconic characters and make them feel more human. MCU (2017 -Present): How can we make these characters funnier.
Is everyone just now realizing that norton’s hulk was way better and would beat the shit out of ruffalo’s hulk? Lol I’ve been saying that ever since it happened
Bandwagon. At first they would argue you up and down how avengers hulk was better, now theyre saying 2008 hulk is better ever since she hulk ruined him. We real Hulk fans been saying this shit for yearrrs
I didn’t like that they made him do gorilla or beast like stuff at points in the movie it really took the humanity out of the hulk, just bcuz he looks like a beastly monster doesn’t mean he should act like one bcuz he truly isn’t a monster Don’t get me wrong he is a monstrous force to be reckoned with and even carries himself around the place thinking he is the strongest one there is, but he is so strong that he decides to use it to help people even if they hate him imo the concept of the hulk is better when everyone else treats him and fears him like a monster just bcuz he looks like one, which is why he gets attached to the people who doesn’t treat him like one and instead they treat him like a person or like a friend thus there would be no need for the black widow romance in the mcu since his true love is Betty and he can just protect his friends without a “lullaby” But that just my personal opinion tho i still enjoyed the early mcu days of the hulk
Its crazy how the Bruce Banner & Hulk dynamic is handled way better in the Avengers: EMH than the MCU its almost as if they saw that portrayal and went the complete opposite way.
Ruffalo in the Avengers is better than Norton in his movie imo. Mark has had a rough time since then, but he fit Bruce Banner perfectly in that one movie and it was stronger than the whole of Edward’s movie I think
Norton Hulk is utterly more interesting and more mysterious than the boring, immature, teenage like Ruffalo Hulk. Like watching a grown man revert into a spoiled child. Get back to Norton asap.
I love all the subtle nuances to character development that i didnt notice at all. Really really amazing to see how much thought went into the characters for the first avengers, especially pre-established ones. Though, whats happened to the hulk is tragic honestly
Hearing “I didn’t think marvel would go for it because he doesn’t look like a skinny scientist he looks like a hulk, he looks like a guy who could handle himself” made me cringe. Like wtfff Ruffalo certainly isn’t a skinny nerd, but he still looks like some geek IMO. Maybe initially he was somewhat intimidating but after so long definitely not the guy who “decided not to hurt a fly”.
Mark Ruffalos Hulk: Yeah, the last time i was in New York and kinda...broke Harlem.. Me: LIES!!!! You were NEVER in New York, Edward Nortons True Hulk was !!
hulk banner dynamic is more like dr Jekyll and mr Hyde than the werewolf. Ang Lee and Ed Norton understood this, josh weedon and every writer of the hulk since not so much. the msheu doesn't know how the hulk works at all.
Well, but i like Ruffalo's Hulk less cause 1. Sometimes he looks to be weak. 2. MCU made him weak. 3. Thanos defeated him like he was nothing. 4. Hulk was afraid for a long time to come out and fight after losing to Thanos. And 5. These days Hulk is just a joke. And i'm afraid that Marvel is gonna ruin him further even more. Thus why, my favorite Hulk is 2003 and 2008 versions. Mcu's Hulk tho is not really. I like him in Avengers 1 and 2 and in Thor Ragnarok, but in everything else, he simply sucks.
Norton nailed it, especially if he played Grey Hulk in Banner form (Immortal Hulk run) who was more resourceful and sneaking opposed to normal Banner who is a pure lab rat. *True Hulk fan here*
I haven't even finished the video yet, but Val thank you for making these Hulk-centric videos. You make me care abt the character in a way I never have before. I grew up on Ang Lee/Norton Hulk(s) but I was too young to understand why I liked them so much as a kid. It's very naked how much you care about the character and it's a fresh take to see bc Hulk is hardly at the top of people's favorite characters list with the exponential growth of the MCU. I love how often you highlight Bruce's humanity. Its all so interesting bc almost all my favorite costumed-heroes like Spidernan or Iron Man got a rush of euphoria when they got their powers/tech (not without consequence), but Hulk is the simple opposite. I enjoy how you broke down the scene of an upset Bruce confronting Nick Fury abt using the Tesseract to make weapons, bc it highlights tht he's the one of the more selfless Avengers unlike the selfish roster relatively. It's quite appalling that Steve Rogers isn't bothered by it. He was literally military so it makes complete sense while Bruce was running away from the military. Novel parallel imo. It's mind blowing how well the 2012 Avengers roster really was. You've inspired me to read the original comics.
If you follow his socials, naaa he's not just following a script, most of the things are actually how he is in real life. This guy is one of the people who went butt naked during election for a "ballot are naked campaign" of some sort. Really disgusting
2:04 It's not a catastrophe but i despise how MCU Hulk wasn't choreographed to do this in his fights. It's funny bc Norton-Hulk still would not stand a chance against Thanos in Infinity War, but with how much smarter he's written/shown to fight he could've held his ground better. Even if Norton/Ruffalo are the same character technically. The fights make it believeable Norton-Hulk would stand a better chance against Thanos in tht fight, and earn a slither of respect from the Titan despite being the more inexperienced combatant
Ruffalo was really perfect in the first avengers movie he had the perfect look with the dark hair and the glasses made him look like a Herbert West kind of scientist which fits Bruce Banner
Ruffalo has done a great job - he's the best fit for the Banner character among the three actors who played the part, but he hasn't been given the material to build as an individuated character. Replace Norton with Ruffalo in the Hulk, it may not be the same but the result would still be okay, do the opposite for the Avengers, Norton will steal screen gravitas from RDJ. Ruffalo seems to be a nice guy so he's not pushing back on any of the creative choices made by the writers and producers. Hulk has been under-realized in most of the projects and has been clowned for the most part, especially recently. I liked the first Hulk movie the most, but the tone of that movie will be a poor fit in the MCU.
Duffalo is a horrible choice for Bruce. Norton's Hulk is very Much spot on to the Comics. Norton clearly read the Comics and you can see that with his performance as Bruce a man who is cursed with the Hulk and he is having a battle within himself but he doesn't realize that the Hulk isn't Violent.
the sad part is Norton had more ideas for the Hulk in the future films but it ended with the first film. Marvel wanted Hulk to be the side piece for avengers because they cant make a solo film for hulk and i think they still can"t because of the universal thing. and knowing Norton didn't wanted guffy Hulk ended up in his removal. ruffalo did his best in avengers but afterwards directors and writers made him a nobody. after the end of ironman , cap , thor and the start of she-hulk show i realized how big of a fuck up mcu hulk is and what he was in 2008. sad but i would enjoy Norton more as a Hulk then ruffalo's hulk. no hate to him both did great as a first attempt but future Hulk performance from ruffalo was maahh and Norton never got second chance to do more with the character.
I liked Nortons Hulk, but the tragedy is what has been done to the hulk, while Thor gets stronger Hulk becomes apussy, really sucks, he should have freed Thor and the two of them fight Thanos, while the rest of marvel fighting Thanoses army. The hulk doesn't get afraidof anything. He should have gotten stronger as they fight Thanos. Really sucked. Hate it Hate it, can't believe the writers couldn't have thought of something else . I hope universal comes out with world breaker Nulk!!!!!
I think something that every film misses out on is the fact that Bruce has multiple personalities. The trauma he faced as a kid is what created the Hulk, each personality is a different version of Hulk and it changes how he looks and acts.
I feel like that's more of the fault of the directors. Ruffalo has proven himself in the first avengers, it's mainly taka waititi and the Russo who killed the hulk. It's just that Disney doesn't care about this awesome character and Don't know what to do with him, but I'm done waiting for some miracle to happen. I'm done with the MCU, I'm not gonna see my favorite character get destroyed any further, if there is any of him left. Fuck the MCU.
Ruffalo can definitely do the perfect hulk with a good script. He killed it in the first avengers and while the character did fail in some parts in AoU it was still great. His portrayal of Banner/Hulk is amazing, of course with out everything after Aou.
I've asked this before on another video on another channel but at the 19:38 marker...is the character that Harry Dean Stanton plays, possibly, the God of of the Marvel universe? Does anyone recall that comic, where God was kind of like a "hobo" and or "janitor" that showed Spider-Man/Peter Parker all the people whose lives he's touched??? Well, Harry Dean Stanton's character reminds me of that, I'd definitely appreciate if anyone could potentially help clarify if that's a possibility or not, Thank you!!! 🤔😇🤗
Not really mate cmon ,everyone is just a copy and paste of tony in ironman 1 ,everyone i throwing jokes even when danger is around that always takes you out of the movie ,and everytime someone says or does something they stop for the audience or the theme song keeps playing every 5 minutes ,bruh as whole the mcu was ok not great but the movies on their they are below good.
i interpreted as him getting better at controlling his emotions rather than being comfortable with letting the hulk out. at the end he gets there, having an interaction with someone that doesn't fear him or has an interest in the hulk
You missed the detail of he Hulk's voice. He goes from being voiced by Lou Ferrigno (like in the 96 cartoon) to being voiced by Ruffalo himself. Personally I thought Ruffalo's voice was less fitting for a monster but I can see the argument for continuity. Something that might not be obvious regarding the Avengers Hulk resembling Ruffalo is that both Avengers and Ang Lee Hulk film used ILM to create the Hulk's CGI, and both those films preferred to match Hulk's face to their respective actor. TIH 2008 used Rhythm and Hues instead. It's also worth noting that Norton was a late addition to his film, which possibly stopped any possibility to craft a Hulk that resembled him, due to time constraints and not wanting to throw out design work already done in pre production. My main issue with the 2008 one was the hair being too long as well as the skin but that's beside the point. You make some interesting observations about the performance but I think Whedon's vision for the character was shallow and motivated only by wanting to dumb down the character to something he could understand; the 70's Hulk/Banner. These guys have never read a Hulk comic and don't respect the source material, instead viewing the 70's series with more reverance as the definitive version due to nostalgia. Ruffalo in my view was a miscast actor for the part but because of a shallow resemblance to Bill Bixby he got the role. His acting wasn't at the level of Norton in terms if range of emotions. His outburst scene with Natasha is laughable as he can't portray believable anger to save his life, ironic considering the line "Im always angry". Unfortunately his acting only worsened as the MCU drifted further into comedy. I also think Whedon's comment about Ruffalo looking more imposing is likely a childish jab stemming from backstage issues with Norton. It's a totally irrelevant and bizarre comment to make otherwise and doesn't strengthen the case for Ruffalo's casting. It's just a more diplomatic way of bigging up your current actor by saying the last one looks like a pussy.
I think whedon saying ruffalo looks more imposing is because he is wider and shorter than norton, which can in some cases make someone look more intimidating, I think it's just an observation and makes sense for the character at that stage in his arc, not an insult to norton. This is just me personally, but I think mark ruffalo's is the best bruce banner as there are subtle body movements and expressions that mark ruffalo uses that elevate the sense of realism and feels like he takes all the best traits from the other actors potrayals of the character (bill bixby's charm and loneliness, eric bana's suppressed anger and sense of instability and edward norton's cursed and haunted nature).
the casting of Mark Ruffalo for that role is the dumbest thing ever.. they literally pulled a DC & said let's try to make this a little more realistic.. reminds me of batman shit
Something that for me really sold me on Ruffalo as Bruce (before he was handled poorly) is the quote that *He who must not be named* says: “He doesn’t look like a guy who couldn’t hurt a fly. He looks like a guy who had decided to not hurt a fly”. That says alot to me about Banner as a character…and unfortunately paints a picture that we unfortunately haven’t seen since 2012 😔
Norton did a great job and so did Ruffalo in the beginning but as the films progressed his portrayal become more and more like comic relief and filler by the time he showed up in endgame and she hulk the damage was done and would be impossible for them to fix
What we have here is One More Example of how we started with this built-in complex dichotomy for the Hulk character that didn’t generate a billion dollars in a few months so they dumbed it down more and more until the laziest among us could finally stop looking at their f#%king social media long enough to give the movie theater $12 each. Thor? Iron Man? Cap? Panther? The Witch? Vision? Hawkeye? They’re ALL brilliant characters with layers and reasons and souls and conflicts . . . But they strip most of that away just so they can CGI their way into making these films dumber than the Transformers.
My take was that they recast Banner, so of course the Hulk would look different. I'm going all out of order with these as I started with the Thor Ragnarok video on Hulk. It's nice to hear positive things about the character. I really liked him in this film.
Norton got it right it is central to his character that the sacrifice to his humanity is to become hulk, and the Ruffulo guy is a joke. More like a mix of shrek and the Gruffalo. It’s never seemed to be a threat or a huge power which is why it’s easier to see this Hulk as a defeated foe with Thanos, and a butt’s joke to She Hulk

Norton was the best hulk bcuz it paid homage to 70 & 80's hulk while also being its own thing that differs from the rest and Bana was the best and most convincing Bruce banner in live action, i also like Eric Bana hulk too. both are infinitely better than RUFFALO.
Nah man, Ruffalo KILLED it in Avengers 1.
@@PJmachine bcuz of norton hulk. everything he said in avengers 1 was a reference to 2008 hulk movie and whedon build off of that. softalo has been garbage after Avengers 1 anyway
@@Oldschool1943 Lol not everything he said was a reference to 2008. They took the 2008 a s evolved Bruce as a character. So yeah, he's better than 2008 in Avengers 1.
@@PJmachine i literally just said that whedon build off that in the Avengers 1 and i semi-agreed with u bcuz softalo had something to work with bcuz norton already had full control of hulk thx to the ending of 2008 already established character for mcu universe from the 08 hulk film for avengers 1. there's a compilation of scenes from Avengers 1 that's filled with references to 08 hulk movie like the Harlem fight and etc
softalo is still trash hulk and bruce banner and turn hulk into a joke and can't even win a fight after avengers 1 and couldn't even win a fight in avengers 1. LOL
Just Because Norton is a fan is not an excuse for how difficult he is to work with
You talk at the end about how the studio seems to act like the 2008 movie doesn't exist. This resonated with me a lot because with both Mark talking over as Bruce and redesigning Hulk to look more like him it made me think that the 2008 movie wasn't part of the MCU.
Finding out years ago that that movie was apart of the mcu was a shock to me
Now he's The Incredible Clown
a Disney princess.
Shrek
@@salle6307Shrek is unironically more Intimidating because he's more prone to lashing out in anger than the current version of the Hulk 😂😂😂
Imagine Nortons Hulk as World Breaker Hulk!!
That would be perfect
There is a reason why Dr Jekill and Mr Hide is a classic. The further they get Hulk from that concept the less interesting he is.
Can we talk about why Bruce needed a disguise in Thor ragnorak after he changed back when all that planet knew for 2 years is hulk. They didn't even know who Bruce was. 🤷♂️
That was the joke, Thor even told him “You don’t need a disguise, you are the disguise”
I swear a lot of these smaller channels have better content than bigger channels keep up the good work
i think this consistency on the script comes from the fact that zak penn wrote _the avengers,_ the same dude who wrote TIH. the script was then rewritten by whedon, but considering how he basically regressed the character (and i would even suggest a self-insert cuz of the natasha thing) in AOU, i think he basically didn't touched the hulk and just added some small quippy dialogue.
Man I wish Norton continued being Bruce/Hulk
Edward Norton is so much better. He made hulk feel real. He became v a secondary character when Ruffalo took over
My kids watched the hulk for the first time after loving the MCU until phase 4 of course, they said they wished Norton would have stayed hulk! I completely agree 💯
I like how you explored Hulk as a character within the narrative of both films.
It would be cool to see you do a similar video of the soft reboot of the Ang Lee hulk into the incredible hulk
Bc even tho officially they're not connected like ruffalo Norton there are definitely thrulines and homage paid that one if inclined can connect the dots
Like 03 ending with him in South America and 08 starting with him even deeper in
Ferrigno as a college security guard and so on
I don't want to give you all of them just some of the easier ones. Even something that looks like the Jericho bomb in ironman
Just for fear that you DO end up making my video suggestion but don't share my love of the Ang Lee film I'll give you some more so you have the ingredients to make the cake
Ang Lee takes place in 03
08 he's been running for *_FIVE_** years*
03 ends with him helping locals
(Avengers finds hulk once again helping locals in a disinfrachchized part of the globe)
He's looking for a cure as he said he would in 03
Ross wants to weaponize
Betty hasn't spoken with her father
That's all that come to mind without watching both back to back lol
I always like Norton as Banner he looked more like the character from the comics but also understand Norton is somewhat of a perfectionist and can be difficult to work with he's a great actor don't know the man personally and wouldn't speak on someone's character it's just what I read I was very disappointed when they replaced him
Ruffalo just looked like Shrek! They should have given Mike Myers a call! 😂😂
(i.e. She Hulk)
This made me realize how clever the storytelling was back then with marvel-and it's been so long I never even noticed!
Exactly because these 2 are so different but I seriously can’t take mcu hulk seriously
This is honestly amazing. I always prefered the Norton version but this makes me respect Ruffalo hulk a lot more now
MCU (2008-2016): How can we break down these iconic characters and make them feel more human.
@@HesitationIsDefeat99 he was ruined before she hulk
@@kevinmcc3147 since after age of ultron. She hulk was the final straw
@@HesitationIsDefeat99 yeah since age of ultron but to me endgame was the final straw
Yeah always liked Norton's more. I like Ruffalo, but definitely would have been better if they could have kept Norton
I didn’t like that they made him do gorilla or beast like stuff at points in the movie it really took the humanity out of the hulk, just bcuz he looks like a beastly monster doesn’t mean he should act like one bcuz he truly isn’t a monster
Don’t get me wrong he is a monstrous force to be reckoned with and even carries himself around the place thinking he is the strongest one there is, but he is so strong that he decides to use it to help people even if they hate him
imo the concept of the hulk is better when everyone else treats him and fears him like a monster just bcuz he looks like one, which is why he gets attached to the people who doesn’t treat him like one and instead they treat him like a person or like a friend thus there would be no need for the black widow romance in the mcu since his true love is Betty and he can just protect his friends without a “lullaby”
But that just my personal opinion tho i still enjoyed the early mcu days of the hulk
Norton is a great Method actor!
16:22 10 years later and I'm still marvelling at that excellent cinematography.
Bruh, Probably the Dopest *Analysis* I've seen thus far on tha character of the Hulk.
Edward is a better Hulk than Mark
Norton, hands down.
Ed Norton all day every day nothing to think about here
Hearing “I didn’t think marvel would go for it because he doesn’t look like a skinny scientist he looks like a hulk, he looks like a guy who could handle himself” made me cringe. Like wtfff Ruffalo certainly isn’t a skinny nerd, but he still looks like some geek IMO. Maybe initially he was somewhat intimidating but after so long definitely not the guy who “decided not to hurt a fly”.
Norton would have been better
Mark Ruffalos Hulk: Yeah, the last time i was in New York and kinda...broke Harlem..
Me: LIES!!!! You were NEVER in New York, Edward Nortons True Hulk was !!
Some great interview clips that I hadn't seen. I appreciate this essay.
hulk banner dynamic is more like dr Jekyll and mr Hyde than the werewolf.
Ang Lee and Ed Norton understood this, josh weedon and every writer of the hulk since not so much.
the msheu doesn't know how the hulk works at all.
Norton is more believable as a scientist!
2:24 Love me some Ruffalo, and we could call him a lot of things... but "bigger and tough" ain't two of em lol. Dude is 5'7.
Norton nailed it, especially if he played Grey Hulk in Banner form (Immortal Hulk run) who was more resourceful and sneaking opposed to normal Banner who is a pure lab rat.
*True Hulk fan here*
I like Ruffalo as Banner more. But Nortons HULK is a fucking beast. This is what he is supposed to look and act like. Perfect Hulk right there
Anybody but ruffalo , he has the douchiest voice and a undeserved smugness about himself
Mark was great in the first movie, it all went downhill afterwards. I still prefer Norton though.
15:39 Makes me wonder if there's any communication at when creating a movie all XD
I don’t blame ruffalo for the current state of The Hulk. He’s just an actor who’s following a script.
If you follow his socials, naaa he's not just following a script, most of the things are actually how he is in real life. This guy is one of the people who went butt naked during election for a "ballot are naked campaign" of some sort. Really disgusting
Mcu hulk confuses me. Banner says he can control the hulk, but if the hulk is an entirely other entity, how can he truly control it.
Because he THINKS he can but can’t until endgame
Norton is a far superior Hulk, Banner and actor than Rufashrek!
Norton is the best Banner/ HULK ( not counting Bixby and Lou) Norton had the Bill Bixby thin looking nerd Dr look and attitude👍🏻
Norton all day. Nortons Hulk depiction infinitely over Ruffalos Hulk depiction.
Norton is and will always be better.
This is great analysis!!! Great video!
Legit Norton HULK can beat the hell out of Thanos
Banner without betty seems like meh!
Norton EVERY time! Of course Bill Bixby was GOAT but Norton is far superior to Ruffalo.
Norton is way better than Ruffalo! 💚
I think if Ruffalo worked with the Incredible Hulk director, he would have been great
@@biguy617 his Bruce Banner was never consistent from film to film. Serious to bumbling idiot, then back to serious to stupid idiot again.
I wish Norton got a second HULK film. Norton for solo films and Ruffalo for team up films. lol
don't bother with this stuff. Ruffalo has proven himself to be someone unable to do savage Hulk only simpleton Hulk and stupidly woke Hulk.
Lol its not about the actor quit shitting on someone that doesn't have control over the character. Blame the directors
I wonder if they'll explore all of Banner's hulks from the comics. I could see Norton returning to mocap for a Mr. Fixit/Grey Hulk
You're correct
Watched the video? No
Seen either movie? No
But Norton.
RUFFALO IS A SELL-OUT end of story
The first avengers was truly a great movie
Not really mate cmon ,everyone is just a copy and paste of tony in ironman 1 ,everyone i throwing jokes even when danger is around that always takes you out of the movie ,and everytime someone says or does something they stop for the audience or the theme song keeps playing every 5 minutes ,bruh as whole the mcu was ok not great but the movies on their they are below good.
@@fofao681not that bad as Rufflo still gives a shit about portraying a character, and Thor feels maginally intimidating
One is a losing jobber turned into a child that pouts and joke, then a punk and coward and the other is the hulk
i interpreted as him getting better at controlling his emotions rather than being comfortable with letting the hulk out. at the end he gets there, having an interaction with someone that doesn't fear him or has an interest in the hulk
That says alot to me about Banner as a character…and unfortunately paints a picture that we unfortunately haven’t seen since 2012 😔
I am happy for this channel growth
Ruffalo is 5'8, norton is 6'0. Those 4 inches make a big difference in person. Cant agree that ruffalo would look more imposing
I think it’s because Ruffalo’s voice is deeper and his face is more jawed and more filled. He also might have a wider frame.
@@henrygarcia39 on screen i agree, in person when people look shorter all that goes out the window
No wonder Banner's always miserable. He can't bust.
Checked the subscriber number and was genuinely shocked you weren’t more popular
And then shehulk didn't even generate enough hate watching, it turns out people hate this too
Bana and Norton were the BEST!
Ruffalo turned out to be shit.
norton will always be the REAL HULK!
