Oh my good Lord. I got so ANGRY at the credits being showed just on the most exciting moment (Richie & Eric)
I know someone called Clapton god back in the 1960's because of his immense talent, but at 3:15 playing his guitar with his hair blowing back he actually looked like god!!! I think this era for him, like 1985-1991 was the best of his rock music era. He was just like a ball of fire-everything he touched just turned to gold. I often wonder if he would have continued in that genre if not for the death of his son, which sent him into a more reflective sound that led him back to the blues with 1994's "From The Cradle". I heard him say in an interview that the success of "Unplugged" gave him the confidence to do a blues record and I love that part of him too, but man do I love the rock years. Eric Clapton I worship everything you have ever done. Thank you for all the music.
Fully agree 🙌🏻♥️🎸
Steven Tyler is embarrassing
Richie kills it, SUCH AN UNDERRATED PLAYER!
Yep, Richie kills it alright! He is an average garbage band player. To put him on the same stage as Eric Clapton is an insult to Eric. Clapton is the most revered and influential guitarist of this generation who has set the bar so high that few will ever reach or surpass him, RIchie, lol an 80s band hack!
Dave54600, No dope. I just grew up listening to top shelf musicians and player's who were the best at what they did, not an average player or talent like RS, and others who pass as great players in a really bad generation of musicians an d music. You settle for mediocre, i perfer real talent. RS could not beat up my sister, maybe you he could beat up!
@@robmorrison1043 evidente sos un estúpido q no sabe de música
And who is rob morrison. A nobody that's who
@Crimson Idol, LMAO,LMAOOOOO!!!!!!
RS vocals are better than Clapton!LMAO LMAO!!! Every music fan and critic just pissed on him self!!! Sam Kinison sounded better than the hack RS. To put EC in the same sentence as RS is an EMBARRASSMENT to EC and anyone with any musical sense! I feel sorry for anyone who took lessons from you. GIVE THEM THE MONEY BACK!!!!!!!! EC with 2 broken arms,104 fever, strep throat and gloves on still plays and sings on a level the hack could only dream of!!!!!!!
Steven Tyler rules, man! So much swag, so much feeling. 😎
HES AN OVERRATED, ARROGANT ASSHOLE!!!!
🎸 Richie 🙌 🎶🎵🎵⭐
Richie Sambora went right up to Clapton to play his fiery solo. Lol it's like watching two gunslingers. Wonderful performance. Judging by Eric's face, he looked suitably impressed.
@@johnt7630 , Sambora is not in the samr STRATOSPHERE as Clapton. To even compare them is an insult to Eric.
Good grief! Eric Clapton was Richie’s idol! He was thrilled to be there and who would not want to play with their idol. He knew he was not in that same league. Give the poor guy a break!!
@@robmorrison1043 pobre idiota envidioso
@@robmorrison1043 they buddies. I get you probably hate Bon Jovi but there a great band no reason to hate bro
Oh Ritchie, he gets HIGH because of playing with his hero, Mr.Bluesman!!

How in God's name is this 30 years ago??? How??? LOVE CLAPTON!!!
Un espectáculo!!! 👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 Richie ❤❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Richie Sambora🎸🎸🎶
Before Stevie Ray passed, he must have been in a prior commitment or surely he would have been included. Glad to see Buddy and Richie.
I would think he was tied up. He was touring pretty heavily when his crash happened. I believe he was touring with Eric Clapton and Joe Cocker.
I was 10 years old in 1990 and my brother-in-law was a huge fan and with me playing guitar he was always showing me SRV music. He still talks about how we wishes he could have seen him live. But pretty sure my brother-in-law has said he was touring with Joe Cocker and I know for sure Eric Clapton at the time of his death.
Claptons solo on fire here. Him and Buddy were the best
Nice one Richie! 😎✋👍
Richie ❤
You have a "heart" here for Richie? I am not sure I understand what your Rolling Stone article comment was for. It seems that you were against him. Now, this seems that you are not. If you are for him, then I apologize, but it would have been good to put the full question because leaving it out takes away its true meaning and has the potential to make others think you agree with Morelli and Morrison.
Richie the best!!!!
L ???? Eric Clapton alabó a Richie, una y otra vez. No entiendo tu interpretación 🙄
Sambora 😍😍
This is a rock, and blues party going on here for sure and it's sounding bad ass🎉🎉
Richie the best
At What? Definitely not guitar or vocals

Richie not capable of being Clapton's guitar tech!
Ray Cooper ❤❤❤
Amazing musicians having a ton of fun. I could have watched them all night. Fun is what music is all about. All the guitarists are world class., Neal Schon, Clapton, Buddy guy, Joe Perry (lead guitar for Aerosmith), Gary Busy? , Sam Kinison, can't remember every one but they're rockin'. I'd love to be there playin' and havin' some great fun, truly.
Anywhere where Gary Busy is on guitar has to be a good place ....
Richie🎸
I can imagine if richie used his 1987 Kramer Jersey star white guitar at this performance
Richie and Steven Talarico, the best!
Best at WHAT? Certainly not music!

Según Eric Clapton, Richie esta calificado como uno de los guitarristas que logró sorprenderlo. Anécdota de Mr. Bluesman.
One and only Rechie Sambora🎸
richie 😚😚😚
I love him to pieces, but wherever legendary players gather, Dave Stewart also appears.

whoa, that version is so great!! Do you have the full concert?
It wasnt a concert it was the jam at the end of an awards show
How did they not have SRV here?
He’s there and he slays 5:37
@@adamkleiman4281 not SRV, Richie Sambora.
King
??? cuando dijo eso?
Okay that was some crazy soloing. It's as if Buddy felt rushed to keep up with Eric's playing.
03:27...is that Gary Busey on guitar? 😳
🤣
To rindo atoa
I have a feeling Gary Busey wasn't plugged in
Or his guitar, either...
@@DrDespicable Lmaooo
gary busey there lol
Not Dolph. Garry Busey
Joe Perry really spots on as always. Not really like Clapton's tone in 80s.To me it just sounds too thin
I was at this concert. Clapton was better than every single player on that stage, including Guy & Diddley, because as always he is giving 1000%. His playing & voice were at an all time high. And he was so humble and gracious he gave everyone a moment to play a riff (including Sam Kinison) or sing like with Tyler. Clapton was there because he was awarded the "Elvis" as the world's most valuable guitarist & the "Living Legend of the Year" award. All the comments here from RS fans show your tolerance for garageband level playing means the talent of Clapton is lost on you and that is so unfortunate because he is truly the master. But anyone who listens to hair band crap like RS's group does not have a clue what good music is anyway. Your loss. Your profound loss.
Possibly the dumbest comment I've ever read lol
@@blainecolmanguitar9875 Because the truth hurts and you know it.
Eric Clapton later told Rolling Stone that, “Richie really put me on the spot. It was a nightmare. I got a very sweet, dedicated letter from him, and I was deeply touched, my ego was pumped up. I thought, ‘Of course, I have to do this.’ I never actually listened to the song; I never acquainted myself with it. I just went in on this little fantasy about how easy it was going to be. And then Richie came to London with the tape, and I showed up at the studio. He gave me a gift, which was a massive 12-string Taylor guitar with my name on it. It was magnificent. Then he put the tape on, and I realized instantly that I was completely out of my depth. The song wasn’t what I expected it to be, and I had to sit down and go down to the bottom of my socks and pull up whatever I had to make it work. It took hours, and I sweated buckets. He was sitting there, watching me go through this. It was the kind of thing you would like to go off and do in private, because you’re going to make all your worst mistakes right there in front of everybody. So, there goes your reputation out the window. Reality comes in the door.” (From Rolling Stone 17 October 1991)
Hi Nicki Morelli. Eric Clapton es un genio, por eso él sabe apreciar el talento de Richie Sambora :)
También BB King.
Could not have said it better. To put a slightly above average 80s MTV band guitar player like Sambora anywhere in the same STRATOSPHERE as Clapton is an insult to Eric, and any person who knows and respects musical ability
It’s amazing how bad Aerosmith looks when compared directly with Clapton and Guy. Sad.
Why do British people always say "indeed" after thank you very much?
@Sean Carroll, don't know. Why do Americans keep saying "let me tell ya somethin'" or "let's go ahead"? ua-cam.com/video/YoBTsMJ4jNk/v-deo.html
HELL of a performance, but it would've been even better without all of those product placements at the end. 😕
who is the man with the red hood (and a bit overweighted) who appears around 6.30???
Pablo Pérez I think Joe Walsh...
I guess it's Sam Kinison
Totally Sambora Kinason. May he rest in peace!
3:25 that tall guy is Dolph Lundgren?
+J Ch that guy is an actor Gary Busey ("Point break", 'The Firm")
Clapton and Sambora have the best tone here. Joe Perry sounded terrible.
3.18 he s on coc lolllllllllllllllll
Besides having Buddy Guy there, Clapton must have been mortified to be playing with this collection of average players.
rob morrison no doubt!! Gary Busey & Sam Kinneson...nope! Joe Perry & Ritchie Sambora, not good at playing blues. Steven Tyler is shit, especially at playing harp. Nice to see Bo Didley; and I guarantee him and Buddy Guy were thinking to themselves “we heard actual harp players in our day!” Steven Tyler looked like he raided his daughter’s closet with that see through shirt. Fuck that guy and Gary Busey.
Your Nuts Dude
@@samlong2370 , he is right! Not nuts!
Average not at all. Not everyone got the privilege to play with B.B. King. Richie did it. He even delivered the funeral speech when B.B. died
@@GoodMusicManiac999 Sambora is about as good as a cover band player in a Tuesday night, local contest.
