A era Disco é maravilhosa, fonte de muito estudo e pesquisa pra mim.. fazer uma dança de uma época não é coisa simples, a forma de dançar e se expressar era totalmente diferente. Vivemos a nolstagia e tentamos transmitir algo . No caso desse vídeo, não foi intencional. O propósito não era colocar no UA-cam, mas permitir me conectar com minha dança e meu público. Thanks everyone for all the comments! The Disco era is wonderful, source of a lot of study and research for me.. Dancing and researching a dance from a from another decade is not a simple thing, the way of dancing and expressing yourself was totally different. We experience nolstagia and try to convey something. In this case, it was unintentional. The purpose was not to put it on UA-cam, but to allow me to connect with my dance and my audience. I continue to create and study this era that marked history. Thank you all subscribers and sharing.🕺🏻

Brilliant song. I actually met all the group in 1976 before this song was heard on the Saturday Night Fever film. I waited at the side entrance door after their show. I wanted to meet the great drummer Earl Young most of all. I shook one of those brilliant drumming hands of his, had a chat and got his autograph. I’ve still got it in 2025. It’s a night I’ll never forget. Earl was the session drummer on all the Philadelphia stars that sang on Philadelphia records in the seventies. He created the group the Trammps and played the drums on this track.

My high school years were during the Disco takeover, this is why it's the best music, that makes u feel good, get up on your feet & move your body. Donna Summer is the one who made me love Disco, she was a pioneer for bringing a whole new sound to Top 40 music!

@@christoskyriacou7036 I do see the John Travolta and of course the classic disco moves. One example is when he slides back at 0:41, it's not an exact replica of the move from SNF but you can see the similarity. I don't know what he means with James Brown though, as far as I know Brown was a lot of fast footwork, MJ took a lot inspiration from the Godfather of Soul :)
