Thanks for the review. I bought the 24l version of this earlier in the year as my commuter for work. It was virtually impossible to find a review back then so I took the gamble anyway. I’ve been working from home since a week after I got it, so never really got to test it out properly 😂 I really like the contrasting colour inside the bag on these. Watching this video, I do wish I’d gone for the slightly bigger 27l. Would have made it a bit more versatile
This review is almost 2 years old but still it's amazing and convinced me to buy this bag recently for 100$ on sale. Thank you, Danny! I've had a small journey with it and I want to share some pros and cons that might be helpful for others. Pros :) - amazing materials, satisfying to touch, magnets are also cool - great look (and small logo). Even fully packed doesn't look bulky - side access to main area - super handy! - orange inner material not only looks awesome but helps see everything inside - asymetric side pockets: I love single deep water pocket on one side and admin panel on the other - separate access to laptop compartment is great Cons :( - not standing by itself (maybe I should try reorganizing stuff inside, but still falls easily) - top zippers seems too small, and it's impossible to close the bag with one hand (but it indeed has a great one-hand open with rip) - no bottom suspend for laptop, pretty weird - carrying it fully packed for a couple of days made me wanting a chest strap or even a waist belt. Maybe not important for everyday use, but could be helpful for travel Overall, great bag and worth the money
Great review! I will either by Thule Subterra 2 27L or Thule Paramount 27L. Although I think that Paramount is slightly more stylish with the visible Thule logo, the Subterra 2 is a bit more practial. Also, I’ve been using a backpack with a lid for a long time so I want a new one without a top lid. Both Paramount and Subterra should offer a good amount of water protection, right?
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I appreciate the suggestion as well, I hadn’t heard of that one I’ll have to see if I can get one to test out!:)
Thank you for watching! I could see it being heavier than some bags, but I use a few that are heavier than this one fairly regularly so it wasn’t something I noticed too much :)
Does anyone knows what is the difference between the version 1 and version 2 of paramount 27L? Have been seeing "Thule Paramount 2 27L" on some of the tag but can't seem to tell the difference
Thank you for watching and good question! Overall I think the bag holds up well in light to medium rain and the materials and zippers feel solid but it won’t offer the same level of protection that you get with something like a rain cover. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)
ordered this and already have the Crossover on hand; Rainmaker keeps popping in my mind; would have already ordered except for the no returns, makes me leary. for son in college. #1 is comfort loaded with books, seems capacity's box is checked with all 3, since you have had hands on all, mine weighing in?
Definitely a tough question when it comes to comfort as it can be so different for different people. Overall I was satisfied with the rainmakers comfort but given the no returns and the issues others have expressed with the straps of that one it may be safer to go with a Thule or one of the options from north face or osprey which are reliable bags that are known to offer a nice amount of comfort. Hope that helps a bit:)
@@dannypacks it is a help!! Very good! Fyi, paramount came and it was a hard call as son did like but felt crossover was a bit better for organization however (to help someone else perhaps that may read), both equally comfortable during his weight test
you should really look at the xd design Hero xl which is an anti theft EDC at around 22l... no external waterbottle but lots if other features you would like.
way, way too long. Don't see, say. Show us the pockets but don't tell us everything we can put in each pocket. I'll put what I want in it. haha Could've been a really awesome review.
Thanks for the review and actually showing the space inside, very helpful.
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
Thank you for this detailed review!

I am in the same dilemma now. How is the carrying comfort and ease of use of the 24L?
Fantastic and honest review as always! I've been using this bag for more than a month already and it's indeed a good and comfortable daily bag.
Thank you for watching and for the support! I’m glad the video was helpful and that you’ve been enjoying the bag!:)

Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the bag! Definitely some great points and I’m glad it’s worked out well for you!:)
did you find it heavy? saw some other reviews that said that even while empty it was heavy
@@weuiwhuih I'd say it's average. Not a light one, but not something that caused me any discomfort because of its weight
Great and detailed review 👌 thank you for all the links you provided for us as well.
Thank you for watching and for the support! I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
I still confused which one should I buy, subterra 30l, crossover2 30l, or paramount 27l.. which one do you think the best for 4-7 days travel and edc?
Hey!
I see the paramount 2 has just come out. Anyone have thoughts about it vs the original?
Thank you for watching! Wasn’t aware there was a new one, will have to try to check it out!

Thank you for watching! Both sound like good options and yes Thule generally has pretty good weather resistance
Nice review, as always. Hope you could do more Thule backpack reviews.
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! Illl definitely be keeping an eye out for more great Thule bags!:)
it's almost the perfect bag for me, but the sternum strap is a deal breaker for me, also, it kind of looks crook it when you're wearing lol.
Insightful review of the bag, so helpful. Please review Thule Chasm 26L version. Thanks
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I appreciate the suggestion as well, I hadn’t heard of that one I’ll have to see if I can get one to test out!:)
Спасибо, хороший обзор, рассматривал к покупке но отсутствие грудной стяжки стало препятствием к приобретению, взял thule subterra 25l
Can you buy a separate tie that can be removed and put on. Or will it still not have the same effect and not be as convenient?
Recently bought it, and it feels like the initial weight is a bit heavy. Don’t you think so?
Thank you for watching! I could see it being heavier than some bags, but I use a few that are heavier than this one fairly regularly so it wasn’t something I noticed too much :)
No sternum strap, no safe zone compartment and kinda expensive...thanks for your review!

the water bottle is easily solved using an A6 memory bottle
see my other linked comment... sorry badly uploaded
Awesome review.... I hope I could get one of these bags... let’s see if mr Thule has a daughter 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback!:)
Is it was black?
Thank you for watching and yes this is the black version!:)
Would appreciate it alot if u can do one for the new bellroy transit workpack!
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! That one looks great and if I can get one to review I will definitely do a video on it!:)
Wish the Bag is BIGGER ( Like 37 L ) !
Thank you for watching and I agree that would be great if there was an additional larger option!:)
you should check out futures the passport. its ticking all my boxes so far.
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! That one definitely looks interesting and working on trying to get one to review!:)
