Snap. I have IBD Crohn’s n ibs also. Day 5 of my tongue piercing.
I know when have endoscopy will have to take it out though as well as my labret n Medusa piercings. But that’s at least 3 years away so all good for now.
It’s still swollen but not as sore.

Do your grandparents know about your tongue piercing? What was their reaction? Maybe your grandparents can tell your dad - usually grandparents are good in explaining bad news / things gently. 🙊🙈😅😂

I don't think you have to take it out after you graduated nursing school. A friend of mine has her tongue pierced and she works as a nurse for a large hospital group in Germany. No one cares about this piercing at her job - even if it's very visible while talking. ✌️😊

I know I don't have to take it out, but I just figured if I didn't like it or was over it by then I could take it out. We'll see when the time comes!
