God bless the Hooser family! For them that don’t know. I just want to warn you law breakers that are willing to hurt one of our men in blue. Utah loves its men in blue. I am a trucker for over 30 years. The morning this happened. I seen something remarkable. As I rolled out of Huricaine I seen police officers of every kind. Lined up and down our freeways and highways dang near every mile. Even bears in the air. I called a friend of mine that has a police scanner. He updated me about the tragedy. There was a hunt for that monster. There was no doubt in my mind he was going to get caught. Not only were the officers out there, but my friend and I and our friends and every Utahn in our great state was looking for this monster. My buddy called me with glee telling me that they had found him and was in pursuit. I was able to hear his scanner and the officer is asking to perform a pit. I heard them verify the Vin number of the stolen vehicle. You hurt one of our cops. You will be hunted down. God bless this beautiful family, and all that put that badge on. This monster should’ve never been set free to do what he done. I encourage everyone to look up his criminal record. It’s disgusting. He should have been doing life.

Rest in peace, Sargent Hooser. May God protect, keep, and comfort your family and friends. You were taken too soon, but will never be forgotten. You were obviously, a good husband, father, police officer, and especially, a good man. May those following in your footsteps remember that you left footprints before them, showing the way, should they ever lose their way. May your life examples live on forever. My prayers are with all who knew you.
