Welcome to Bakersfield, CA the city that my family and I call home. What once was a small town settled by a small number of families quickly grew into the thriving city it is today. Colonel Thomas Baker, the settler for which the city is named, offered up his home to weary travelers, and all though much of the city has changed, the hospitality that founded this city remains the same.
