My Lady Trevellian is romancing him and it’s interesting to see how the scenes change. It’s also kinda funny because she is also a Templar. So while he’s going cold turkey and suffering from withdrawal, she’s on the sidelines patting him on the back and swigging the blue stuff behind his back.
I chose this route with Cullen (for clarification, I was a Male Trevylian Human Warrior romancing Cassandra). Being the black sheep in a family where alcoholism and substance abuse are common, I just couldn't stomach watching everyone's favorite Templar destroy himself by using the very substance which fuels Templar powers yet destroys their minds in the end.
I’ll do you one better. My Lavellan was a mage, and she romanced Cullen. Of course she said he doesn’t have to take it if he doesn’t want to.Which is even more funny. Think of the irony, Cullen having a crush on a Lady Mage in Origins and then you actually romance him as a mage inquisitor Got some nice additional dialogue lines. In the end he married her ❤
