this is probably the most underrated band in the world
Adam West no but possibly the most overrated
Adam West agreed!
Leo B thats nirvana you troll! xD
Leo B that's the Beatles and Nirvana
Nirvana is hella overrated and if it wasn't for the nature of his death nobody would hold them in as high regard as they do. AIC was better in every facet from Vocals to instruments to song composition
Rotten Apple is underrated
That's one of my favorites:)
First Last I can't remember is also one of their great songs and many other songs too. The teenage nowadays is huge and their garbage media took over the real artists movies and music. all they care about nowadays is toddler singers and hors like Miley and Kim.
First Last Rotten apple is my favourite by the way so deep. and shows their real skill.
+First Last hey ya na na
Bloodorange : Rotten Apple is the best AIC song ever.
It's stupid how AIC is not as popular as it should be, but in a way I'm glad, I'm glad that they're shirts aren't worn by turds who have never heard of them and are used as a fashion symbol like many other bands.
People who piss me off are those who wear Nirvana shirts and only know smells like teen spirit, and don't actually know or appreciate the creativity of the in utero album
Lewis Hampson you're young aren't you. AIC was massive in the 90s and they're still relevant now. Out of all the 90s band, they've remained uncompromisingly true to their style but have also evolved.
Metallica, nirvana, iron maiden, ac/dc. All of them are worn by people who can’t name 5 of their songs. And I am only 19 but I’ve been listening to Alice for years.
Drache Zwiehänder Green Day have been steadily active since 1986 and until now. Second, You can't compare the two bands. Green Day gave you commercialized pop/punk teenage angst, nobody-understands-me mentality eyeliner and all while AIC's material dealt with hard-hitting stuff like drugs and pain. AIC's songs and lyrics have always been difficult to swallow compared to GD.
AIC stopped doing albums after tripod and stopped touring by 1996. That's a long time to be absent from people's minds. When Layne died the band hadn't released an EP or full length album in ages. The last 2 songs were in 1999. The masses forget. And unless you were speaking to musicians most specially guitarist who were influenced by them, they don't come up in day-to-day conversations. But talk to people who really know their shit and you'll see how influential these guys really are. AIC didn't get an album out until 2009. Now is not exactly a great time to be a rock band if you can notice. The music industry now is generally hostile to bands particularly harder bands that gear towards metal. That applies to all hardrock and metal acts not just AIC. You hardly even hear hardrock songs hit the charts anymore. Plus it doesn't help that people are massive assholes about AIC restarting with Duvall. He's a great addition to the band but people whine that he's not Layne this or Layne that.
To dark for many people, people want to feel happy not bipolar vibes😂
Who else thinks that Jerry Cantrell also has a sweet voice?
He has an amazing voice. Check out his album Boggy Depot specifically My Song.
Definitely. Without the harmonization and backing vocals he provided to layne aic would never have been as good
The harmonization on the Brother unplugged version is mesmerising.
Didn't he sing heaven beside you?
@Christopher Bingham hey come on, he did a great job singing that song.
There is no female vocals in nutshell. That's just Layne..
@Christopher Bingham Jerry sings no part of Nutshell, as well as many songs people think Jerry is harmonizing with Layne in are just Layne double tracking his own vocals. Yes they harmonize on several songs, but not as many as most people think.
@Christopher Bingham he really was a brilliant singer wasn't he, wish I could've seen him live.
I can sing just like him female Layne no lie
It’s not layne it’s the guitarist or bassist
I came here for this comment
That female backup vocal was Jerry Cantrell :P
Lol
I was like "what the fuck, did I hear that right". ridiculous.
t3mptr3s scrolled for this comment, lol. That's not a woman, that's Jerry Cantrell
that's why not everything should become a list...
Nah, I think Sap was the only one that had a female back up vocals (Anne Wilson). Its def Jerry singing back up on Nutshell
The only problem with this list is that Alice in Chains has no bad songs and every single one sould be mentioned, Example: Sea of sorrow, Heaven beside you, Bleed the freak, we die young, Love hate love, Again, Don't follow, it ain't like that, THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY GREAT SONGS TO PICK
Bleed the freak Agreed 💯💯💯💯💯
I could literally keep this list going. Brother, sludge factory, dirt, junk head, hate to feel, frogs, godsmack, whale and wasp, the killer is me, but at this point I may as well list every song they composed because it’s honestly scary how they never made a bad song
RIGHTTTTT
I don't like the studio version of Bleed The Freak, but the live at Moore version is fucking awesome, they even have it as official music video
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alice in Chains is by far the best grunge band. Every song has a message. Every song is deep. Most musically talented out of the bunch, best vocals, lyrics.
It’s a lousy list.
True aic is best
Alice In Chains > Nirvana
Sam out of the big for from best to worst gotta be Alice In Chains > Soundgarden > Nirvana > Peal Jam
@@niggabear I like Nirvana more, Alice In Chains just as good tho 🎉
Dirt is one of the best grunge albums ever.
Facelift too
It isn’t one of the best, it is the best
@@floridafishingcentral6911 and if told you-nevermind...
Dude there not even grunge, there an alternative metal band
Layne Staley Forever I agree they are alternative metal but they also fit into the grunge category because they came out of Seattle when alternative was huge in the mainstream
Trying to create a list of top 10 AiC songs is an exercise in insanity. Just too many equally great songs to even try.
So true
I know! I made a top 10 alice in chains video as well. check it out if you like
Steve Crotty you mean equally shit
Leo B shut up and go listen to the overrated led zeppelin
@@buddyleesmil wow it sucks you moved channels. Your channel looks awesome
FACELIFT AND DIRT ARE TWO OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ALBUMS EVER MADE !!
preach
agreed!
righ! check out my top 10 alice in chains video if you like.
swagmaster shappy dont forget about jar of flies, even sap was good...
Peter Borak Tripod.
Surprised Nutshell isn't higher. My personal favorite
Robert Martin yeah its mine too, I can't help but tear up anytime I hear it.
The unplugged version is my favorite Chains song
I agree, Nutshell is my 3rd favorite AIC song
Nutshell is my all time favorite song. obviously favorite AIC song, Rain When I Die coming in at a close second. crazy thing is I lost a high school friend 2 summers ago and another last summer. Beginning of both funerals it was a gorgeous day and sunny. Shortly after one of the funerals and a few hours after the other, out of nowhere it just started downpouring for about ten minutes then stopped just as abruptly as it started
Normie
Whoa, not trying to be obscure and cool here but Heaven Beside You is a huge Alice in Chains song and didn't even get mentioned here :(
thought the same thing, it's my favorite AIC song
'Heaven beside you' is an awesome song, I definitely agree that it should have been on the list somewhere.
It wasn't on Dirt..therefore noone cared at Watch Mojo I guess...lol
Yeah, seriously it's the first AIC song I heard. And they also stayed away from my favorite album Facelift. Sea of Sorrow is an amazing song.
InvisibleTeeth
haha, that's a good point.
Have to agree with No. 1. That bass line in Would still gives me the creeps.
listen to the demo version. its even creepier.
Tommy Udo
Ooooooh no We Die young? not even an honorable mention
DOWN DOWN DOWN WE ROLLING...
Was it not their first ever single? Some way to announce yourself anyway
Seriously though. Just the first 5 seconds into that song and you're hooked because of that intro riff. And Layne's "ooooohh" hahahaha
And what do you think about "bleed the freak?"... that's a great song
Sea of sorrow, it ain’t like that, bleed the freak, god am?
Top 10 ??? Every Song Alice in Chains Wrote is a HIT.
Hit? I mean, yeah, good, but hit? Hit = commercialy succesful.
Mikołaj Dardziński the dirt Album is flawless
@@grungemetalhd1668 yes
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@HeraclitorisScroll yea
Picking your best alice in chains song is like picking out the best slice of pizza...its all good...lol
Shadownian lol
Most underrated band that was out there, great songs.
Nice troll! lol
slug237711 Troll calling someone else troll, trollception.
JettLagTurbo How am I a troll exactly? :P I'm just stating the obvious truth they AiC is anything BUT underrated.
Alice In Chains is not underrated.
My mother who's in her late 50's loves Alice In CHains. THey're not exactly underground. lol
No Excuses should of been of the list, it's got great harmonies.
Bobman9420 Agreed. Alice in chains have some of the best harmonies in heavy rock.
how is Check my Brain missing?
Heaven Beside You and Brother are not in this top
@@Rooz247 bullshit
Yup! It's my personal favorite!
Of course "Would?" was #1; it's their transcendent music masterpiece. Oh, and here's what Angry Chair is about....
It's essentially about the negative emotions you feel while talking to addiction therapists and other addicts during rehab. What's infuriating about the whole rehab process isn't in seeing the addict you've turned into, it's the realization this is who you'll always be from now on. At the end of the day, you still love that drug you're addicted to and you just can't trust yourself out there in the real world when this is over.
This is what Layne meant when he sings, "All that I want is to stay" and "Pink cloud has now turned to grey". The "pink cloud" is a drug rehabilitation term for the initial gratification that comes over you for being clean, which typically occurs during the first 40-60 days of sobriety. The initial desire to stay clean, and the pride you feel for achieving your newfound sobreity is called the "pink cloud" phase. But that always wears off and relapses occur soon afterwards; thus the "pink cloud has now turned to grey" line.
The "angry chair" he's sitting on is the rage Layne felt while having to sit in folding chairs in church basements while talking about deeply personal things to complete strangers at drug rehab clinics and NA meetings.
Britton Thompson Would is great, don’t get me wrong, but it doesn’t hit as deep as nutshell.
Medicine Ballers you can't really compare the two. Nutshell is emotionally charged while Would isn't.
MrTechselect theyre both emotionally charged. It's just different emotions.
Britton, your comment is 3 years old, *but* *thank you* for referencing some of that interview with Layne's explanation about Angry Chair 🙂. I never knew where to find that source.
It seems many people incorrectly conjecture about its meaning, esp writing on YT that "angry chair" must be the toilet when an addict is feeling ill. If Layne were still around, hopefully he'd laugh about the misguided interpretations.
Have you ever listen to (love hate love)???
choon!
Too powerful for this list!!!
That song is so good
the live version at Seattle 🔥
Ikr! Such a touching song. I fucking love it.
dude junkhead is my favorite and it didn't even make the list
same
junkhead is awesome song, but it is extremely underrated.
junkhead is pretty high on my list! check out my top 10 alice in chains video if you like.
That is freaking pathetic. Junkhead is freaking amazing.
first aic song I ever heard, got me into the band
Alice In Chains is hands down one of, if not the best band that came out in the 90's.
Grunge and metal-wise
Easily, along with Nirvana.
Grunge band they have a case but overall rock band? Idk about that
Nobody:
Every Alice in Chains fan: "Personally, I think Alice in Chains is better than Nirvana."
They are
What the fuck is your point?
Because is True AIC was More Music than Suckvarna.
Kurt Cobain worst guitarist comercial Of All Time.
I'm a huge fan of nirvana. It's just a cooler thing to say you prefer them. It's close but when I listen to "negative creep", "turnaround", "scentless apprentice", "aneurysm", shit like that, plus their hits too, I give it to nirvana.
Nirvana es overrated, AIC is underrated
How is Nutshell only 7? That may be my favorite song of alltime!!!
At least they put it on the list. What I am really questioning is why the heck Love Hate Love isn’t even an honorable mention.
They need to re-do this list. some of these ranks are not even accurate.
Shit, how are No Excuses and Got Me Wrong not even on the list??? (Honorable Mention doesn't count.)
Nutshell gives me chills, it’s such a good song, presents some weird feelings. I love it.
Nutshell is my favorite song of all time. From any band
where is "sunshine"? this song is underrated af!!
Hell ya! I don't ever hear anyone bring up that song ever about being underrated.
One of the best in facelift
I JUST posted this. Too bad you beat me by five years.
Real thing should be here as well
I stay Away and rotten apple should have been on the list
Love, Hate, Love?
I Stay Away is my personal fav. But it's a choice among classic grunge masterpieces. All great songs.
I Stay Away is my favorite too. Layne's vocals are loud, crisp and clear. Love Hate Love should of been in the top 3.
Love hate love is underrated
Anyone else love 'God Am'?
me!
me
Glad I'm not the only one :)
The last performance is the best version!
What album is it on?
10-Down in a hole
9-Sludge Factory
8-Them Bones
7-We die Young
6-Grind
5-Rain When I die
4-Rooster
3-I stay Away
2-Would
1-Angry Chair
HM: Man in the box, No excuses, nutshell, rotten apple, Head Creeps, Bleed the freak, It aint like that, Heaven beside you, Dam that River, Dirt (so many good ones, DAMN!) and basically any song from the Staley era
RIP Layne Staley and Mike Starr
AIC forever
I did this list based in my taste and in beauty, not in popularity
Too many songs to choose... just too many
Yeah I wasn't happy "We Die Young" didn't at least get a mention, fucking facemelting tune that one.
Matt B right?
I totally agree with your list and HM. It's rare for the original (and only) Alice In Chains to make a bad song. It's sad that most people I know don't even know who they are. Music hasn't been this good in a long time.
No Bleed the Freak? Or Sea of Sorrow? Bullshit.
ikr
Exactly! Check out my Top 10 AIC Tracks
even Stone, has one of the most badass riffs
Love hate love, junkhead, we die young, god am, sludge factory
nice list! check out my top 10 alice in chains video. I think you'll like it better.
My top ten
1 Lying Season
2 Died
3 Rain When I Die
4 Get Born Again
5 God Am
6 Black Gives Way To Blue
7 Brother
8 Rotten Apple
9 Over Now
10 Every other one of their songs because I've listened to all of them and there isn't a single one I don't like
I'm so proud to know all those songs, I love Alice in Chains so much
i completely forgot about the duvall songs lol
So happy that Rotten Apple at least made HM, such an underrated song
And arguably their best, although don't follow is my favorite
Great list but missing Heaven Beside You is a massive oversight.
Patrick Storey that's like my favorite calm song by em
Again didn't even get an honorable mention?
Matern03 that's my favorite!
Anybody who isn't a fan of alice in chains should be scratching their heads right about now.... But yeah, That is probably my favorite song by them of all time....
Matern03 not even Shame in you
They are idiots
Wheat about Heaven Beside You? Nothing? That song was gold!
Nutshell doesn't have female backing vocals. That's Lane Staley singing falsetto.
Yeah, they made a mistake there.
lmao I wonder who let that go through the final cut?
This Is my top 10:
1-Man In the Box
2-Would
3-Nutshell
4-Them Bones
5-Down In A Hole
6-Bleed The Freak
7-Dam That River
8-No Excuses
9-Angry Chair
10-I Stay Away
thezztop666 fucken normie, not even a song from Tripod?
Rooster?
I agree with this list
Damn near perfect list
thezztop666 very accurate list my guy
I respect people's opinions, but I think No Excuses should be higher.
MAN IN THE BOX MAY BE A MAINSTREAM CHOICE but it's their best song. Can't deny that. Clean tight drum playing, heavy bass, awesome riff/great guitar solo, and Layne's vocal. Man, that's top product.
missed love hate love and bleed the freak!!! I cant believe THAT!! OMG!!
AICNOLACHICK Name your God and bleed the freak.
One of the best bands that I've ever seen live.
Love hate love, the Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, and Brother.
And ‘We die young’ and ‘sea of sorrow’
Sunshine / We Die Young / Social Parasite ... should be in this list too :/
Well this video is from watch mojo what did we expect
The Honorable Mentions alone are better than most songs from today's rock bands.
fax
Live!
Ahah most? IMO all rock bands today except for the more underground real stuff.
Where's Again, Sickman, Sludge Factory, Godsmack, Head Creeps & more importantly Over Now
1. Rotten Apple (I know it's not their typical sound, but the lyrics are so touching)
2. Would?
3. Man in the Box
4. Again (could rank up higher if the vocals weren't so purposely distorted, but it's still an awesome piece)
5. Down in a Hole
6. Nutshell
7. Grind
8. Angry Chair
9. We die young
10. Frogs (There are some songs that sound better, like Them Bones or Got me wrong, bu the lyrics are so haunting and depressing that it makes it an amazing song)
Of course any Alice in Chains piece is fantastic even stuff like Died or Confusion (that are always looked upon)
The song Would? was about the lead singer of Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood. After Wood passed away two of the members of Mother Love Bone (Gossard and Ament) went on to help create Pearl Jam.
It was also about jerry's mother passing away
He would know ^^ he is God
Don't forget about dirt. Written after andrew passed as a tribute to how good he was and how much potential was there
The MTV Unplugged CD is the best one that I own.
Too many from Dirt. Hard to choose only ten - something like this for me.
1. Would?
2. No Excuses
3. Lesson Learned
4. What The Hell Have I
5. We Die Young
6. Grind
7. Nutshell
8. Your Decision
9. Bleed The Freak
10. Got Me Wrong
Love Hate Love really shows how good Lanye Staley's vocals are
Where's "We Die Young"? C'mon!
I've heard every Alice in Chains song with Layne Staley, and my favorite is Down in a Hole. Hands down! It's beautiful, haunting, powerful and overall awesome.
👍
If anyone is wondering who "Would?" was written for, it was Andrew Wood. He was a close friend of the band and he was the frontman of Mother Love Bone. He died of an overdose right after the band had finished recording Facelift, and the album was dedicated to him. Andrew also fronted Malfunkshun prior to forming Mother Love Bone.
"Would" will always be my favorite song by AIC. I didn't know it was written for Andrew. Ty for that info.
This list might as well be called “Top 10 songs from the Dirt album”
I would have placed Nutshell higher. Great list.
Agreed BPM... I can't argue the number one slot though. I might not be an "angsty teenager" anymore but I still love "Would".
C. Destroyer I never understood the big infatuation with would. It has a good bass line, but overall was a fairly weak song. a little bitter had a better one and is a much better song imo
Agreed! Nutshell should have been top 3, top 5 at the least.
Alice on Chains is the greatest band of all time
TOP 10
10. "Sludge Factory"
9. "I Stay Away"
8. "Rooster"
7. "Over Now"

3. "The Killer is Me"
2. "Heaven Beside You"

2.) Got me wrong
1.) Rooster

Alice in Chains FOREVER! All of their songs reminds you of death, one of the most deep and touching bands there ever was
My favorites:
10. Man in the Box
9. Rain When I Die
8. I Stay Away
7. Bleed the Freak
6. Them Bones
5. Down in a Hole
4. Would?
3. Rotten Apple
2. Angry Chair
1. Nutshell
Honorable mentions: Rooster, Got Me Wrong, Grind, What the Hell Have I, Dam That River, Love Hate Love, Check My Brain.
I feel so alone, gonna end up a big ol' pile of them bones.
What about frogs? :(
Again?
You Have No Neck youre so right in putting Nutshell in n1. But i would change Rotten Apple for Rain When I Die (my preference)
You Have No Neck gotta have rooster in there
alice in chains>nirvana
lolothe2nd AIC=Nirvana
Sriyansh Rayaprolu not even close buddy
Immigrato clandestino They are both great in their own ways.
Noooo
Very much agreed
1. Man in the Box
2. Heaven Beside You
3. Them Bones
4. Again
5. Rooster
6. I Stay Away
7. Bleed the Freak
8. Godsmack
9. A Little Bitter
10. Dam that River
Honorable mentions: All of them :)
Gotta agree with man in the box at number one. I stay away, again, and a little bitter definitely are on my list also
I love Brother and Sludge Factory....
....actually u can't just have a top 10 with this band...
Stone temple pilots, bush, nine inch nails, marilyn Manson, Allman brothers band, john Lennon solo songs, paul McCartney solo song, misfits, Ramones, sex pistols, and CCR?
Also bad religon, dead kennedys, talking heads, and silverstein
Goddamn I miss Layne
It made me so mad when she said “female backing vocal” on nutshell😑
In my opinion AIC is better than Nirvana
That's not an opinion. It's a fact. And I love Nirvana.
Opinions are obviously subjective but yours is so wrong😂
Agree
that's bloody obvious
I prefer Nirvana, but I have to admit that Jerry Cantrell is a better guitarist than Kurt Cobain. On a different note, I think that part of the reason why Nirvana is considered to be the gold standard for grunge bands is that Cobain died before they passed their creative prime. In other words, they didn't stick around long enough to decline like Pearl Jam or break up like Soundgarden.
My favorite is always going to be Down in a Hole
Beginning of that song always gives me goosebumps.
Next is Top 10 Tool songs?
yes they should make that.
Amazing Idea!
They're making it I think
Good... How about Melvins!
For me vicarious will be #1
As a massive Alice in Chains fan, and seeing as basically the entire rest of the Jar of Flies album is on here, I honestly cannot believe that the song "Don't Follow" isn't on here. It is hands-down one of their best, and most beautiful songs, and if I recall, reached #7 on US Billboard.
It's words eerily fortell the fate of Layne Staley, with the haunting lines "I get so lost, and don't know how... Yeah... It hurts to care, I'm goin' down.."
You did little research on this subject. Seriously.
For starters Jerry may have written all music but Layne did probably damn near half the lyrics.
You missed key songs that are real Alice favorites that most of us would include in the top 10, Love Hate Love just for one.
Agree with this!
Thanks so much for making this list. Made me quite emotional and everything. RIP Layne Staley.
Amen!
yes it is sad
Agreed!
and RIP Mike Starr❤ LSMS forever!!!
Nirvana 1989 greatest musical collaboration ever, probably lol
There's too much Dirt in this list! LoL! ...But really, 7 songs?! is an awesome album but that's too much! No songs from the self-tittled third album or the Post-Layne era? Check my Brain, Heaven Beside You and Stone are cool songs that deserved to be mentioned.
I cant really get into the post layne stuff. Duvall has a decent voice but nobody will ever have the same sound or effect that layne did.
1: Man In The Box
2: Rooster
3: Nutshell
4: Would
5: Them Bones
I was absolutely surprised that Heaven Beside You, Sea of Sorrow, It Ain’t Like That, Love Hate Love, Bleed the Freak, and We Die Young didn’t even get honorable mentions
"No Excuses" should be top 5 but I agree with "Would?" at #1
I agree
Would? is overrated as hell. Nutshell, is a thousand times better.
Its hard to me to choose I love all there material. I love would? But yes Nutshell gets a slight edge. Love hate love I wish would have been on here
with so many good alice in chains song, its hard to pick 10 but yeah "would" is a good top pick
I think we can all agree that the Jar of Flies EP is one of the best ever made.
Alice In Chains has always been my favourite band, here's my Top 10.
10. Sunshine
9. Sea Of Sorrow
8. Them Bones
7. Down In A Hole
6. Rooster
5. Social Parasite
4. Heaven Beside You
3. Would?
2. Man In The Box
(H.M.) Am I Inside, I Stay Away, Love-Hate-Love, Rain When I Die, Don't Follow
1. Nutshell
NorthernNitroPhotos no honorable mention for angry chair?
Rain when I Die is best AIC song. Unreal vocal range by Layne! 😀🤘
Ferris182 also my favorite
To be honest, I think Sunshine from their Facelift album is one of the best of the Staley Era.. One of their most underrated songs, but probably among my all time favorites. Gives me chills every time I listen to it.
But after Layne, no doubt that Check My Brain is one of their best songs.
For me "Nutshell" is one of the top ten on the saddest songs of all times.
For real though it gives me chills when I listen to it
@@kalebkusch8394 duuude same. I honestly wouldn’t call it sad though.
I have a really hard time getting sad from songs. Idk why, I understand why people think certain songs are sad but nutshell is beautiful. It’s like a lot of the songs of nirvanas in utero, none make me sad, but I definitely get hyped and excited from songs.
"Love, Hate, Love" had to have been on here, Layne is purely raw on that you feel every word he says. Either way these guys genuinely haven't created a bad track, the absolute best of the '90s
I didn’t have MTV growing up...too poor for cable. Huge AIC fan though, and absolutely loved Rooster. Joined the Army in 93...did my thing, became a Ranger...after Bosnia I actually saw the video for Rooster for the first time. Still gives me chills to this day. The song took on an entirely different meaning for me at that moment...
Grind is the most heaviest, beautiful, alice-in-chain-esque testimonial ever
No Heaven Beside You, Check My Brain, or Stone in the honorable mentions even?
the ending of 'would?' always gives me chills. truly a perfect ending for the album dirt, perhaps the best way to end an album.
I couldn't agree more!
1. Man in the Box
2. Heaven Beside You
3. Rooster
4. Would?
5. Grind
6. Again
7. Angry Chair
8. Dam that River
9. Them Bones
10. I Stay Away
Just about my favorite all time band. I probably would have included “It Ain’t Like That” and “Love Hate Love” somewhere though. Great vocal performances.
Check out these other dope music videos!

All of the songs from the 1995 album, "Alice in Chains". Most favorites are "Sludge Factory", "Nothing Song", "So Close", and "Frogs". Mostly the song "Shame in You". I love that song so much, it gets to me. I basically love all of the songs that Alice in Chains made.
8:27
I'll admit, that transition to the next entry was nice
I enjoy the grunge side of Alice In Chains more than the modern side.
Yea you and everyone else lol
Agreed, but check my brain gets close
I'd have put I Stay Away actually on the list, but still, this one was pretty solid.
This band is too amazing to make any list! :D
The best band of the 90s, sorry Nirvana fanboys
Couldn't agree more
Ridiculous vocals
Sorry that no list would ever approve of this..Sorry that Aic has never appeared#1 and never will and that sorry that history won't remember aic but Nirvana will prevail..bitter aic fanboy😂
@@kobsy7074 your opinion!
You can be a fan of both without undermining the other band right. And besides only fanboys and not real fans of rock in general always compare and don't appreciate both.
AiC is a diamond in the rough. Great band.
Finally! AIC best band of the 90s by a longshot
What about we die young
right
it is high on my list! check out my top 10 alice In chains video.
Who else listens to mad Season as well?
I always avoided AIC when I was younger except for man in the box.. I've been numb again for awhile and their music is making me feel something again... wish I had looked into it sooner but I guess I'm glad because I really needed it.
I'm sad that Check My Brain (or any of their new stuff) didn't even get an honourable mention. It's quite good. I saw AiC live just a couple months ago and they were awesome! Love this band. RIP Layne.
Check My Brain is one of my favorite AiC songs!
