Jerry Cantrell...what can you say...genius composer, singer and guitarist. And what a full rich sound they put on with this concert.
As a big Layne and AIC fan I want to thank Greg Puciato for giving the AIC songs on this tour a beautiful justice and tribute to layne, thank you some good chills watching and hearing you and jerry . . it eases the loss for us which pains me to this day
Saw Jerry in Providence about 20 years ago witl William Duval on vocals. Thought the same thing then a few years later William was singing for AIC.
@@brendan8465 William Duval is so weak these days! I saw AIC with him in 2013 and it was pretty great but he has really lost a lot of power in recent performances. Greg is a way better fit filling in for Layne. Not to mention he was in Dillinger Escape Plan!
@@gmyersgilmer9470 saw AiC in West Palm in 2022 and Will was great. Saw them in 2018 for the Rainier tour and Will was great. I have seen Layne and obviously Will and I know there is no comparison to Layne but to me Will does a fine job or being the singer in AiC Personally I like him better than Puciato.
@@jtough7499 You are entitled to your opinion, altho I never saw AIC with Layne I have been a fan since the mid 90's when I was a teenager. As a professionally trained singer I can say Will has really gone downhill in the power department. If that is fine with you then ok, but I need that to really dig AIC. Greg is way more powerful and innovative if you listen to his work with Dillinger for instance.
@@gmyersgilmer9470 cool...maybe you caught him on a couple bad nights? I dunno. I listened to a Sonisphere concert with Will in 2010 after I heard BGWTB on disc. I was very not impressed. Since then I have been largely impressed what I have heard from him. Out of the live performances I saw of Will the West Palm show was the better of the two and it was great. Not Layne great but great.....I would go see Greg with Jerry but I won't search him out...different strokes I suppose.
What most people don't realize is that this is pure magic.

Can't get enough of Cantrell's sound. I am so thankful he out there again. It is like an answered prayer dude. ☺☺
Saw AIC in the early 90s and it's hard to recapture the magic. I appreciate that Jerry made brand new music in 2021. It shows he still has something to say and is still an artist -- not just an old man playing the hits.
Not hard to recapture when you have Greg Puciato on vocals!

He put out an album in 2008 or 2009. It was phenomenal all the way through. I saw his band in Modesto, CA. at The Fat Cat. It was a total tribute to Layne.

Holy shit! I lived in sac for 10 years. Ace of spades really has some moments. This being one of those moments. Sounds amazing! What a show. Exceeds every expectation! Thanks Jerry!
I was there. I drove from el Sobrante for this. I got only like 2 hours sleep then went to work. Totally worth it!
I wanted to go to the show so bad. Buy didn't have my car running good enough to drive up there...so jealous, to see Jerry Cantrell in a small venue like that must have been such a treat. Thank God for youtube, so many concerts I couldnt attend but at least I got to watch it ...

Jerry C. NEVER Disappoints! He’s amazing in al aspects! Music has been his life outside of heartache (which has contributed greatly to his song writing abilities).

Jerry is in superb form, saw him in concert ladt week 😎 He was just killing the solos, and the keyboards make a good atmosphere for the songs. The crowd shouting Jerry reminds me of Jerry Springer show 😂

Saw AIC a couple years ago with Bush. Gonna get tickets to see jerry with bush this year. Just listen to that live sound. You can hear each instrument and vocals clearly. Hats off ti that sound guy.

So glad Ace of Spades recorded & posted this! Thank you. I was there...overall great show, but sometimes the spotlights blinded us madly. Couldn't see shite. T'was a small intimate club though and staff were great, helpful.
PS saw Jerry’s show at the Moore in Seattle in 22’ and to see it in that iconic venue was just magical. A night I’ll never ever forget.
