The stakes are gorgeous. Only minor critique would be to have the back rings be the same light wood colour of the cut tip as both are the "inner flesh" of the branch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

Nit that I've seen anybody ever make a crossbow and stakes, but I've definitely never seen it done with such a soothing tone. I'm so glad to see a new prop video. Love all your stuff, but props are just my jam, and you make them so well!

The worbla roses were really nice! Smooth on 325 makes a really nice clear 2 part resin. The crossbow is a nice choice!

These builds have come up well. I have a couple of suggestions, firstly put a hook or loop on the handgrip of the crossbow so you can hang it from your belt. The stakes really need a wooden mallet to drive them through the ribcage. For a future build I would suggest a single tasset which you could mount loops for the stakes and mallet, this would put them close at hand.

Loving this! I'm currently making a vampire hunter myself. Going to use two thrift store belts to make the bandoleer for the stakes. I can't wait to see what you do for the costume :)

This is a really cool idea! I like that it's practical because a lot of people will make "cosplay tutorials" but it's with stuff that you can't actually take with you inside of a con i.e actual wooden stakes, actual knives that are painted over or modified, wings made of real metal blades etc.

Diggin' the crossbow allot .... the part that flexis maybe a red metalic: to keep it red but break it up some ?
ohh and maybe turn the bolt to a silver bolt like in the second Vampire Hunter D..

(like a bunch of pencils ' bolts' stabbed in to foam in a size aproate box 'quiver' then hung on a belt)

I love the idea of the metal dipped wood, but personally I would add black around the silver paint because realistically the wood would burn when dipped in hot metal?

If your vampire hunter isn't an actual vampire I will be disappointed. J/K I just love all these original characters you're coming up with! I think making an OC is so freeing. When you cosplay a certain character, or even someone from history or mythology, you have to have certain elements for it to be recognizable - Tenth Doctor has to have the blue suit & sneakers, Bast has to have a cat aspect. But your vampire hunter can adorn her weapons with roses and no one can say "That's not right" because she's yours.

Love the video and I only have 1 criticism, that is your audio seems to be clipping most of the time you say a word with an “S” in it. More than likely a very easy fix by messing with the levels on whatever microphone you use to record the voice over
Thank you! And my mic is terrible. Messing with the sound in post doesn’t help much either. I’ll experiment with some other options next time.
