    Great video again - funny, informative, envy-creating, gold fever fixing, and vicarious sweat-making. Not only do you appear in it, but Gadzee makes a guest appearance, but the true star Fern, the Dogctor, takes a prominent position. I look forward for more 😊

    Me and the Kelpie had a good week on the pan, 5 days x 90 pans per day, Garret gold trap- heaped classifier, follow the gold like a sniffer dog, each pan had a golden smile of 50- 200 specs per pan, clean up tomorrow ,oh and I feel great after a week in the bush, happy days fella's.

    Most Gold mines in Australia work on about 3gr per tonne. Mind you thier bi-product usually pays for the running of the mine.

    Great to see, Chris. It brings a better idea of what the early miners were doing and what we see left over in the environment, and you'd ask, what did they do that for?, and why the little pinches of holes here and there, while other areas have deeper or shallower holes, shafts, adits, wider pits, strange turns of direction. May your contact zones be kaleidoscopic!

    Suggestion for wet sluice after... Shop vacs fit on 5 gal buckets, drill holes to mesh size you want to run through sluice in bottom of the bucket, and a hose hole in side of the bucket. So your fine particles wash out the bottom, and larger particles can be rerun when dried. Place the bucket on a hopper, and feed machine. Enjoy 😊

    I'm not much on line and been a while since I've been watching ya channel, I've done I bit of hard rock mining and gold can float when it hasn't been exposed to the elements, a drop of detergent helps break the surface tension and the gold will sink.

    Awesome video, Chris. That's what I'm going to be doing soon. As soon as I get one of them grinder crushers. I tried to build one but it was so wobbly out of balance the damn thing jumped out of me hands, bounced around the shed and knocked everything of me work benches and scared the crap out of me and me dog trigger. Spud engineering would of sacked me. Gotta buy one professionally made. But I still want to try and build one out of an old lawnmower engine.
    To be continued.

      @ there 500 us dollars on eBay for a small one like that. I should make one for 50 bucks or so if I’m going to swing it. I’m still trying to have my gm1000 pay for itself. I’ve only found one .1 gram picker so far. So I have a ways to go. But hopefully soon I go out daily so hopefully it’s a matter of time. I research a bunch but can always seem to find gold. Working new state tho to so it’s been interesting working the deserts for the first time but was out looking at outcroppings all day myself just like this video grabbed a few samples to crush but need to find a way to hand crush for now .

    • @shineyrocks390
      @shineyrocks390 3 місяці тому

      An XRF Gun and a Falcon MD20 Detector will find deposits for you. You'll still have to sample numerous spots across the vein to find the richest areas so you can pinpoint it and determine the amounts. Sample sample sample and eventually you will find something good. A fire assay is the best way to get numbers and weights per ton after locating a deposit. So yes you can use a detector. The two I mentioned are great for finding precious metals and other valuable minerals such as uranium lithium niobium...... The list goes on and on 😊
      I hope this helps you some.
