That's one of the challenges in any multimonitor setup. Even with the same model the colors aren't 100% the same, so you'll have to tweak them yourself to your liking. Personally, they look the same enough to me, so I'm happy to keep them this way.
American Truck Sim: I have a 3080 (EVGA) + i9 9900KF. Running 3 x 1080p x 47" IPS panels (tvs). I can get 60 fps locked with vsync ON, all settings in ULTRA, scaling at 300%. My tvs have motion smoothness that render 500hz. My recommendation: try setting your resolution to 3x1080p instead of 3x1440p and see how it goes. Alternative: Set scaling down to 100% or 200%.
Correct me if I'm wrong. You may lose just a little image quality by using the monitors at a resolution that is not their native resolution. I think the optimal setup for MSFS2020 with an RTX 3080 is 3x 1080p monitors.
Glad you guys found the setup that you like. 👍 For me, ever since I moved from 1080 to 1440, I didn't want to go back. I'll gladly trade fps for the better image quality.
You're now faced with the first world dillema that everyone would love to have. How to stream with triples in a way that gives viewers the best experience too. Squirrels streaming layout with his 32:9 display at the top and webcam / chat below is on the limit IMO. You may be able to capture the centre display only but the field of view usually looks too close and isn't great for your stream viewers. Exactly that: looking left and right at crossings and so much more to see along the highways. I noticed that it makes a lot of difference at what vertical angle you look at the set, especially in how the side-monitors look in relation to the center screen.
I also have 3 1080p monitors (see video of setup on my channel). The number of pixels the gpu has to render is half of the 3x 1440p setup. Much better for frame rate if you can accept 1080p vs 1440p. Love the setup Clumsy!! 👍
Nice to see it all setup! If I were you I'd still use track IR with 3 monitors, mainly for the ability to look up/down and lean in, even if you have peripheral vision now. Further, I don't like how Nvidias Surround works. At the time I used a little smart DLL based program called SoftTh, which enabled me to run triple on selected games, but the normal setup for of three different monitors for other tasks. Please, try this setup on ETS2 and ATS, as those games has multimonitor support and you can there set the FOV individual for each monitor rendered by the game. And it will still be compatible with the NPI scheme, you just have to exchange the multimonitor_config.sii file to the one for a triple. @@gamingfox8850 depends on the scenery, but it plays around 6-8gb.
@@TheClumsyGeekGaming How many VRAM does your ASUS RTX 3080 have?
All 3080s have 10gb vram. 👍
Keep them!!
Sounds good!
I really hate that you cant use Nvidia surround on monitors with different widths (still same height). Well you can use it, but it will use the least width one...
ive tried lots of different setups with monitors and now ended up using 2 monitors in extended mode in 2k as one is a 5120 x 1440 samsung 120hz as the main flight screen and the other is an AOC in 2560 x 1440 at 120hz with onair ect on and it seems to work very well with 2k ultra settings, my average fps is 44 fps to 60fps running on 10900k cpu, rtx 3080... .. i also working from manchester in onair and see you flying in a KA 350i?
looks amazing 👍 tell asus they have to come get the monitors if they want them back lol
@greenlight Ikr lol.
@chris Great setup you have there, too!
Mount the 1080p one above for utility’s 😂looks amazing! Also would look amazing on an ultra wide! Maybe try mounting your mic so it comes over the top the monitors so it’s not in your vision, I’d definitely keep the triple setup though!
Send them back bro!!....... Its a reverb G2 you want my man 👌👌👌
Wow, you spoiled one! I had to buy all my monitors for running a triple setup. I don't run it anymore, I did it in the UKTS and GTS era, but my card limits me now. I can assure you that the whole experience will now change for you, it's so damn immersive to use a triple setup! Try to imagine how this would look with that 49" Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor where you won't get any bezels at all! ENJOY mate! Damn, those comments were made before you switched over to ETS2!
Haha man yeah so good! I don't think I can let go of this setup anymore.
You lucky youngster, obtaining an Asus RTX 3080 Tuf video card is nearly impossible.
Thanks! Yeah I'm very thankful for the opportunity.
I guess you don't need Track IR anymore lol
True! I don't think it works hand in hand with triple monitors.
@@TheClumsyGeekGaming I think it would be too much
keep the triple monitor for flightsim
Watched ur stream last night love the set up clumsy, Yh we can see ur feet 🤪 is there not a way to get this at ultra 60FPS?
Thanks! Probably can be achieved by turning down the settings. At this point, though, high fps isn't worth the sacrifice in image quality imo. Anything around 30 is more than enough.
@@TheClumsyGeekGaming I mean it looks amazing at 30FPS no matter if the frames look lol for this time of game 30 still good I run the game like I said over on your stream the most 30FPS sometimes I get to 20FPS but still amazing. I tried triple screens on this game for 1050TI 4GB and Yh I noticed no difference I still got 30FPS
Im watching clumsy geeks video while im cooking a filipino food called ''adobo"😅
Sarap!
Try Beamer and trackir
Lucky boy!
i like it 😍😍😍😍😍
Ian ikaw ba yan?
Yessir! Haha hello!
My friend good luck not even an intel i9 with a RTX 3090 will get you more than 70 fps. The game is designed for future gpu.
As how the people from the philippines say it...
SANA OL hahahaha
Your hands need to be lower Clumsy ;) haha
