Ever since I’ve learned your cybersecurity methods of not being infected I’ve been more at ease when I’m downloading things i always scan sites and folders with virus total I emulate old consoles and you have to get the consoles firmware and other folders and they might be a malware so I use these methods to make sure I’m safe

@@NicoKnowsTech couldn’t be more happier I also have a video suggestion for you: you should make a video about the Chris Titus tool also known as CTT it’s a command that you paste onto your terminal( on windows 11 don’t know where on windows 10) but the key features that the tool has is you can enable OO shut up and my favorite to change windows updates to security updates only and delay the update for 5 days to prevent any problems… and many more awesome features the amazing people of this. Chanel need to know about this tool (P.S you can also pick to uninstall windows apps by just ticking a box and many more).
@aranamanj3401 I am very familiar with Titus's tool and I use it often. I have hesitated making a video about it because UA-camrs are super touchy about stealing content and his viewers might give me hell. Would have to go about it cautiously.

I’ve done a pretty sum of project so my name got out in the space. Then some scum piece of shit scammer group of people invited me to help with their project, they made entire videos and website for the ‘game’ they were making. After 2 days of chatting they send me to their website and let me donwload the beta, that beta download had a virus in it and they took my crypto by scanning my pc for passwords, they somehow found a wat into my wallet and stole everything

thank you I have been using both auto runs and virus total for a few while now, I have just learnt how to properly configure auto runs so it shows me everything and thank you for showing the context menu way of getting to Virus Total, I will add this to my knowledge base thanks again.

Yes it can detect rootkits. It usually is not set first in scan options the first time. Im glad you found a solution and avoid paying those fees!

After running tron win defender says there is an active threat at medium risk a settings modifier affecting system32 drivers what do I do about it doesn't let me quarantine or remove do i run tron again ?

I was Modding Doom 3 for vr, windows firewall warned me, I clicked allow, something tried to access my microphone, my desktop was deleted in order by file type leaving some shortcuts by the time I pulled the net cord and restarted. I did a system restore, in the restored state, chrome and windows defender won't launch. desktop stuff still mostly missing. I'm guessing the next thing to do is reinstall windows right? My powershell virus scans don't have a progress bar percentage or give any summary (as if its supposed to look like its doing something while its not). I really thought system restore would have saved me

Thankyou for this i was worried. I got spam notifications from mcafee saying trojans detected then i ran all the scanners and did everything in this vid and nothing came up as maliciuous and then my real time protection and everyhting thing else was disabled. Saying your administrator controlles this. But then i had malwarebyte which now replaces that with its own real time protection.

I need help, I got tron and did all of the steps (following your tutorial), I checked to see if it was gone with autoruns, but my pc is still running abnormally slow (only at night??). What could be the problem?

Latency on a connection is usually due to either a poor connection to the router or an overworked router. What router do you have and how many devices are on the network?
I have a issue with the WiFi Card I keep ordering a new WiFi card and they keep sending me the tiny card that has two slots in the card when my WiFi card holder has one slot as in one grove In it not two

I have had problems the past 4 years with some "hacker"/s, they have gotten into all my systems, intel, amd, new, old, iphone, android, windows 10, windows 11 tpm 2.0 and 10 different linux distros.
I'm not sure how they do it, but they do it.

Had a RAT that none of the top anit-virus scanners could detect for years (Autoruns, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Eset etc).
I knew because the hacker who frequents a game server always knew intricate details about me. The only other explaination was he was psychic.
The RAT would reinfect my computer everytime I formatted and did a clean install. I figured it must have hijacked the Windows 10 installation media I made.
I would always see a blanked out process named 'Program' in Task Manager Start Up with no publisher whenever I did a clean installation. Computer would also blue screen crash frequently. File loading may also have been slow. Other than that, everything seemed normal.
Is this possible? What are the chances of this occurring?
did you do a full wipe of your hard disk(s) for the clean wipe?
@@soes0kavion I did a quick reformat on my hard drive before a clean install of Windows. Now I have command promt and powershell disabled to make it harder for them.
i would check to see if its not other devices on your network that the attacker mightve pivoted into. Also possible theres a file in a cloud server you use that is infecting your computer @@smokescreen2146

hey im having a problem with my computer where i cant open some things like games and some icons arent showing up,i cant open some things and my pc takes like 5 + minutes to turn on and off. i ran virus scanners nothing showed up i have no idea what happened bc i let someone play on it while i was doing other things and they wont tell me what they did on my computer can you please help me with this if you know what is happening it gets really annoying things crash also and sometimes when i try to do things it freezes screen goes completely white then things go back to normal. its also has been running slower then usual. im not sure what i should do because i have no idea what happened

PuP. Potentially unwanted application. Means it is not technically a virus but is potentially bad... Perhaps for privacy, stability or not intended to benefit the user.

Hey Nico, I got a "Trojan Kryplod no" 1/72 detection by jiangmin for Realtek Bluetooth driver and one more detection by Sky-high saying Behaves Like VBS Backdoor Mp with 1/60. Should I be concerned for these detections?

Only had false positives on autoruns, however Windows Defender says there are 186 threats on my PC, mostly Trojans and backdoor exploits and other viruses. I've already shredded the file it says they originated from and done multiple scans with other services and I'm getting nothing back. I can't get peace of mind until the alerts from Windows Defender are gone. Idk if it's just a glitch or something

whenever i use autoruns without scrolling or clicking it closes immediately however when i scroll down a little bit as soon as i open it it doesn't close. i've done scans with hitmanpro and kaspersky and i'm pretty sure it's not a virus but do you know why this happens?

I used the correct unzipped file and ran as administrator. Can you advise? Thank-you.

Hello Nico, new to the channel, you seem to be quite tech savvy and i have a dilemma, recently i had stupidly downloaded a torrent for a game on a relatively safe site, however because of my comfort with the site i didn't read the warnings on the download, and have potentially installed some malicious malware, that is potentially preventing me from installing anything, example discord wont install, xbox app wont install, however all internet such as UA-cam Netflix works fine, i am really confused on why this is, if my internet has just pooterd or if there is in fact a virus on my computer, anyway, great content. thanks for the help

Hello there. DMP files are Windows Memory Dump files. These are automatically created by Windows and programs when they need to clear their usage of your system memory. It happens more regularly when programs crash but also occur normally. You can't get rid of them forever as they will be created again during normal usage of your computer. Windows automatically deletes DMP files regularly.

the virus I have just isnt letting me opening ANY virus scan program it keeps saying "windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to use them" its not even letting me update my drivers it just says the same thing.
Sounds like damaged OS whether or not there is a virus. Reset or Reinstall Windows

auto runs is broken currently on all my devices its detecting 90% of the windows processes 1/70 in virus total it says Sangfor Engine Zero detected Trojan.Win32.Save.a is this a false positive

Not sure if Utorrent is virussy but from what I've researched most torrenters say not to use Utorrent due to ads and maybe adware or malware. Use something like Qbittorrent. I've used it and it has no issues, no ads and shows up as safe on virus checkers or autoruns. I did use Utorrent before I switched to Qbittorrent and it seemed fishy to me with all it's ads and the way it was functioning.
