She’s actually generally better. She has real combos and a wall bounce from kikoken. She just lost a couple of things. I think it’s still another dumb change 4th could have done better but it’s not the stupidest thing they did.
With how much damage Ryu deals (and how much damage he seems to take), it feels like they put Evil Ryu in the game and just forgot to point out that he's evil.

It amusingly makes Alex’s arcade mode have a really weird difficulty curve where Ryu is much harder than Gill (partly because the changes made to playable Gill also apply to the boss)

i'm a beta tester for 4rd strike, we trynna find bugs and such rn, i hope you play more, so many things have changed in 4rd, the game is fun almost all the chrs have 2 supers, there's custom palmodded outfits made for 4rd and every stage has changed
I would love to see a 3rd strike modding tool be made one of these days kinda like rivals where you can edit existing characters or put in your own stuff. Definitely won't be for a long time though apparently this game is really hard to mod.

what I had a idea of something like this also called 4th strike where it would be a new and improved version of 3rd strike with new stages all returning stages coming back you can choose to be 2nd impact Sean vs a new generation Ryu and there would be some new characters balances, new trials, new supers and new specials being a mix of a new game, the 15th anniversary game and ultra sf2 literally 2 hours before this video came up
I'd like to see more old games given this balance mod treatment. MvC2 & CvS2 would be the ideal game to do it with, but something like I dunno, Jojo HFTF would be a good starting point?
I find these mods to old games more interesting than I do most new games. Seeing all the characters added to MvC3 and fourth strike among others. Such awesome stuff.

2 bars cuz you have 2 Kick supers, or sacrifice them all for 1 MAX super, the order goes this way: SA1 MAX = Timestop SA2 MAX = Meteor strike SA3 MAX = Seraphic wing
3S crouching opponent take significantly more damage. Dudley at the 3 hit combo from Ryu crouching. This is a good balance to people abusing low parry.
WIth all of these weird games and patches, i would love to see Justin try Fate Unlimited Codes. It's like the meme said: Fate Unlimited Codes Is A Highly Complex Fighting Game. What I'm not so sure about is attracting actual Fate fans. Even us weeaboos are afraid of THOSE guys.

To be honest, from TASing the game and playing it, I think it’s alright. (Also, does that imply you think 3S is balanced? Because… Mm. While it’s a fun game, I can’t agree with that one.)
@@MacAves Never said nor implied that. I was going by what I saw and what Wong said. Ryu doing that much dmg 2 combo= death that's very balanced. As for my personal full opinion I like the moves added and stuff but I wouldn't dumb down the bosses other than that still my favorite SF until SF6
@@Skyte777 I mean, I think dumbing down the bosses was fine. It essentially added an entirely new character to the game, Gill is pretty unique. He’s kind of like a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none type character. He can still be good, but it’s not just… he hits you with a cr.HP and you die. Can’t really go wrong with more competitive options, y’know?

They took away what originally made him unique and hard in the first place. That's like Bison with no psycho power. Yes it's different but then you can do that with every character and really have just a whole new character or pretty much a mugen game.
