    Out of 5k views and 75 comments (my comment is #76) I am the only one who gave a thumbs up! There are no thumbs down either and shouldn't be. I am disappointed in people watching videos and not taking a nano second, while watching, to simply give a thumbs up.
    If I understand it correctly, the number of views keep the videos on UA-cam longer and the number of thumbs up push the videos to a higher level to be made more available for watching in more areas, under more categories and added to more play lists. This keeps your favorite UA-camrs and specific videos available more often. So, crafting enthusiasts please, please, please give a thumbs up on each and every video you watch and like!!!
    Thank you, Kristine, for searching for and sharing these 18 gift ideas for Christmas or any other time a small or inexpensive gift is needed to give to a knitter, crocheter, or crafter!!!
    God bless you and your family!
    Merry Christmas!
    P. S. If you don't need these nor have someone you plan to give them to, I would love to receive them! I don't have any of them and they would be so handy to have!

    I needed something like this for quilting stocking stuffers, because my mom quilts and I know enough to know that I don't know what she needs.

    This year I am living on a small Social Security income. I can't buy anyone anything but I'm going to sew and knit all of my presents with my stash. I really like your videos and I do wish I could buy some of these products. I don't have any knitting, sewing or crafting friends or family but I would like some of those products for myself. Oh, well, at least I'm aware those products exist and there is such a thing as wishing. I love all of your videos and look forward to every single one.

    I loved your show last year and this one is even better. My husband got me the little scale you recommended last year - I’ve only used it twice so far but both those times I was able to use up a favorite yarn that had some leftovers - winning! I’m going to send this You Tube to my husband and make it really easy for him to fill my stocking this year - thank you and happy holidays!

I have a friend in England who I correspond with and send fun gifts to. Some of these items will be perfect to send in my next package. I always enjoy your show! Hope to see you again soon!

    It seems to be a really busy year for most of us. I could not resist the needle holder, how perfect, thanks for that share. The micro light was out of stock, :( and Amazon did not have one like it. But another day perhaps, LOL. Like the Stikki clip thing as well. Several other items went into my wish list as well. But the needle case, had to get it. Always glad to see when you upload a new video, I learn so much and have so much fun. Have a Merry Christmas and may your stocking be filled with lots of knitterly goodies.

    Hi Kristine! I am not a regular viewer, but the title of this episode caught my attention when I had searched something else. I am super impressed with your selection especially since you included things I wouldn't have thought of or hadn't seen before. I will definitely be looking for a few of these items. I am so glad you showed the pocket scale. I have debated it for a long time, but after seeing how little it actually is and how often I have ever needed a scale while out and about (NEVER) I decided against it. Thank you so much for a great video. Also, I adore your shirt. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you and your family!

    A very nice list of little gift ideas. We also use the travel cases to pack OTC meds for vacations. I just ordered a 6 pack of them on Walmart for $7.00 with free pickup at my local store.
    That is a bargain if you have a knit group to give gifts to. I plan to fill and put one in each of my knitting project bags to hold my notions.
    Also, my local Dollar Tree sells a 2 pack of tape measures by the cash registers. It includes one retractable style and one sewing tape style. The retractable one has key ring, so I have placed one on each project bag zipper pull. I never have to hunt for one. That would be another stocking stuffer idea.

    Dr Kelly! Another great Christmas podcast! I have been waiting for this year's podcast. Yes, I had to order some Bonbons while they were on sale. One of my newest finds are the knitting row counters on ETSY by Twice Sheared Sheep. This is a chain used to count rows. Very helpful and ingenious!

    Lion Brand has plastic crochet hooks with a twist in the handle, making them ergonomic; I picked up a set of 3 in larger sizes for $10 from Michaels.com on Black Friday. 2 years ago I got both of the Boye "Swiss army knife" crochet hook sets; the only problem with them is that they tend to fold back into the handle when you're using one of the hooks.

      @EweUniversity  5 років тому

      Awesome suggestions -- thanks! Yes, I have the "army knife" ones, too. I was going to review them in a video, but I found them hard to work with for that very reason. I ended up not liking them.

    Thanks a wonderful list of useful items. I fell in love with #3 Susan Bates Handi Tool years ago and have bought it in every color, and have one in every project bag. The reason for so many is my favorite place to knit, when I’m home, is a recliner chair that eats the tool. It sucks is down into the works and I can’t find it. To date I have lost 5 to the chair. I have turned the chair upside down and still can’t find them. One of these days I’m going to take the backing off and they will all appear. Thank goodness that they are so cheap and easy to replace. I use them for dropped stitches and for weaving in my ends.
    Now the tool I didn’t know about, and will be getting, is #12 Micro Chip Light. Thanks for the link, will check it out in the morning.

      @EweUniversity  5 років тому

      Hi Jo -- thank you! Gosh, I'm not sure about a knitting journal. I've seen some in local yarn shops over the years. But I've always just used a regular notebook when I did keep track of my projects. (I've been a bit remiss lately about tracking FOs and WIPs...)

    • @jofelker7656
      @jofelker7656 5 років тому

      Every year I resolve to be a better job of keeping track of my projects. Maybe I’ll make better use of Ravelry this year. The micro clip light is no longer available from Amazon either. I bought a clip on reading light to see if it might work. My daughter is also a professor and I know the end of the semester is busy. Thanks for taking time to post two videos and enjoy your winter break

    • @EweUniversity
      @EweUniversity  5 років тому

      Yes, I used to keep track of everything on Ravelry but have gotten out of the habit. It's too bad, really, because I can't count the number of times I've gone back to look at a project I have on there to find out the yarn, etc. And yes, someone told me yesterday that the little lights have sold out, and I can't find them anywhere else now. I updated the description box to indicate that they are sold out. Sorry!
