Exploring New cave in Gower part 2 Cockle Pot

This is a story of extremely tight claustrophobic cave exploration. in 2021, the aim was to find a 'back door' into the blocked Llethryd Swallet, first via Barns Cave and then from directly above down an exceedingly narrow rift that we named Cockle Pot. It is a digging story with moments of discovery, unexpected events and disappointment and is told as it happened, without over-sensationalistic gloss. The pictures tell the story and allow you to be part of the event. This is the second in the series and chronologically follows the Barns Cave exploration. The third film will tell the story of the final successful breakthrough into Llethryd Swallet in September 2021

What you need to pull blocks out is a short wire belay attached to the end of your rope. Form the belay into a noose using one of the eyes. As the wire grips the rock securely, it is much safer for those below.

Not sure I see the point of forcing routes that don't exist naturally. I love your channel but this to me seems more like mining of a particularly dangerous variety, although having said all of this it's nothing compared to the mining done to reach the top of Titan 20+ years ago.
