Using plane shavings was an experiment and some thing I've wanted to try for a while. Even though it worked, if I were to do it again I may try sticking them directly to a piece of thin plexiglass. This would keep them flat and also I wouldn't have to worry about peeling it back off the work surface!
As always I'm happy to answer any questions.

A few times now I’ve had one of your videos pop up in my recommended list on UA-cam and ignored it for a week or so, thinking ‘that one won’t interest me’.
Each time, I’ve finally folded and watched them and each time, I have been utterly blown away. This video is no exception: it’s fantastic!
After watching dozens of your videos, I have never disliked a single one. Your workmanship and unique ideas are absolutely mind-boggling. Thanks so much for sharing mate!

One of the things I love about these videos, besides the project itself, is the sound of the motorcycles driving by. In high speed, makes it sound like you live next to Philip Island during practice sessions (which would be really cool).

A brilliant true Aussie light box , stunning. This is an innovative use of scrap up-cycling with natural products and a simple yet efficient decorator piece for indoors that offers respite from the harsh Aussie glare in our outdoor surroundings. This is surely an award design. Thank you from a nearby supporter in Brisbane of home genius projects like yours.

@@PaskMakes I've been thinking about antlers ever since scrap wood challenge episode one. Have you thought about making one of those antler Chandliers? That would be one cool puzzle to put together but with your skills I would love to see what kind of design you would come up with. You should celebrate your 100th show with a show stopping project!!! This guy on another UA-cam made a competitive video by making a base he made on a lathe, so he celebrated by making a pedistal for that beautiful vase. The pedistal had an inlayed turn table so wheen he put the vase in the center the pedistal. The vase turned round and round. He didn't light up the underside but It was beautiful and a very complicated project because he had to run the electrical down threw the skinny leg. But that was in celebration of a milestones pertaining to youtube and it's vedios. Cool!

Hi, I’ve searched through your past videos for a small wooden storage box drawers cabinet below the left side of the industrial light pendant made with plane shavings at 10:56, and I couldn’t find it. I was wondering if you have got a video made for this. If you haven’t made one, can you please make a video of it? I’d love to watch you make it. 😁 Stay safe, stay healthy, and have a fabulous day! 😁 With love from Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA. By the way, I’m very happy to find an Aussie woodworker on UA-cam! ❤️

The end of that vid really made me smile. I love the pipes and the way they project out sideways from the shelf! The project overall I know it may not seem perfect but that, in itself is what makes the 'Pask Baconlamp™' extra cool. Good job Neil :D
