This is flow state. Looks like Cooper transcended the Matrix and has that 360 degree awareness. Amazing video. The grayscale really brings out the detail. Music is on point with a great mix of ambient sound. Thanks again, Terry. I'd watch this on a movie screen.
This is a sublime piece of work, on many levels. Seems like it would win film/video and art awards. Cooper's flow, the lighting, audio/music, the editing and general composition of the city surroundings - very good.
I could watch this for a whole day i feel like. Love the some B&W, not bad at all. It also feels like it's never boring to watch Cooper ride, he is the street he rides on.
Love this music!! Mellow and Dreamy!! As far as I can tell, riding the way Cooper does is perfectly safe! Love it how your Americans have separate bus lanes-here, buses have to "fit in with semis and cars AND bike riders!! Damn, this NYC is would be the best city ride to regularly do!!
Excellent video of the 'Free-Flow' of fixie riding as it always should be. Easy awareness of all surrounding things and you don't travel on a road-you become part of that road. Cooper free-flows through the streets as if this is meditative journey and we are privileged to be witness to it. The black n white rendering of the video us Perfect, as is the music. Terry-this is another awesome video!!!!
Thank you. I hope that you are being rewarded for your work. I know that this is what you love, because it is obvious in your work. But I hope that you are able to monetize it so that you can continue sharing with the world. This is as much a comment to you, and the riders, as it is to frame builders, bicycle component manufacturers etc to support this guy and his work. This is next gen content that is bringing people to the sport and it should be rewarded.
What impresses me most is how Cooper ist able to control his speed so well without skidding or skip stopping. To me it looks like He is using a pretty heavy track gear ratio, but still is able to slow his bike down by Back pedaling without any visible effort. This fragile looking, slender dude either has tremendous leg power and bullet proof knees or I m really missing something. Tremendous video as always Terry. Any plans on filming a hotline in Germany in the future? Would Love to See the familiar streets of Hamburg in one of your Videos.
This is just so damn good, I had to comment again. Every aspect of this-the riding, camera work, soundtrack, editing...just splendid. This was one of my first Terry B./Cooper Ray experiences. Several months later, no wonder I'm still hooked.
Great video Terry. I'm a messenger down in Melbourne, Aus and when you're worn down after a rough week and come across one of your videos, it's invigorating to watch people out there loving it and gives you a reason go out there and keep pedalling. Keep it up!
I'll say it again: I fucking love this video. It resonates with me on so many levels, and for so many different reasons. Either you get it, or you don't. I pity those who aren't inspired by it.
Happy Thanksgiving Terry and Cooper. One of the things I love about black and white video cinematography is black and white images have a higher resolution to them; you can notice textures, forms and light better in the images than with color videos where you primarily focus on the hues in the images.
you should scout people all over the world and film them riding in their turfs. that would be amazing, seeing how people all over the earth perform our art.
My favourite of yours so far for sure. Who knew that GoPro footage looked so convincing as 16mm... I know that the format is just the format and shouldn't determine anything else but aesthetics are super important for my concentration span...
Brilliant!! Dig Those Soundtracks!! I Appreciate The Real Life Sounds Mixed In As Well. The BLK & White Aspect Is Gorgeous For Sure. Overall, Top Shelf Episode!! Cheers
Where do you get the shitty music from?? Apart from that Great video Terry 📽🎬
Darryl Donnelly UA-cam music for creators. Glad you love it. What would you suggest?
@@TerryB Someone has jokes😂😤

@@TerryB I don't always enjoy the music chosen but this was actually really good.
shitty music?!

Couldn't agree more, so satisfying to watch.
Color is terrible, and music terrible.
cooper ray showing us that the space in between the two yellow stripes in the middle of the road is the *real* bike lane
You always find the most obscure tracks and perfectly implement it to suit each riders unique style, keep up the great work Terry!
Ryan T 🙏🏽

Wouldn’t be a Terry Barentsen vid without a classic Cooper Ray throat clear. You know what I’m talking about.
Amazing stuff.
I love that wide angle black and white into the sun point of view. Great stuff.
I love this video, for some reason, it relax (relaxes?) me. The music, the b&w, Cooper, all perfect.

I am so addicted to your videos! Well done Terry.
I love watching your videos, terry. it really shows how big nyc really is
The perfect music for this ride.

How is it possible that I find your videos to he so relaxing and stressful at the same time. Lol.
Love the music to go along with the black and white footage.. Really nice.
That flow on 5:50 tho... Always moving. 👌👌👌
Royal.
I had this kind of feeling of immersion after a few minutes. B&w works all right, so does the music.
I been searching my whole life for these vibes...
Great video, the riding is pure poetry. That said, the mid roll ads just kill the vibe brother. 👍
Appreciate it. UA-cam’s helping to keep the lights on. They’ve never been good at ad placement
Another beautiful film! Thank you! I am thankful for Terry Barentsen!
This is 23 minutes of uninterrupted pedaling. Not a single stop throughout. That's nuts!
Terry, you're constantly topping your amazing skills both as a videographer/editor etc. in each one of your videos and as a fucking amazing cyclist.
Moody and I like the music, Terry! Well shot!!

the black and white fits perfectly! Love it :)

Just beautiful. Great sounds as ever. Would like to see the colour version too.
Great black white und Musik
You made a" "simple" guy cycling in a big city" to a piece of art
👍
Best video yet
So satisfying to watch this
Terry and Cooper = Magic. Thank you for this Terry! I digged the B&W so much! Also can't wait for some more analog photowalk hehe :)
Mesmerizing
Best bike channel in youtube! Waiting u arrives in Recife-BR.
Seria incrivel um vídeo em recife, mostrando as praias, as pontes, a avenida de boa vista, seria muito legal.
Falta algum nessa mesma linha aqui no Brasil, né? Queria muito, mas não tenho bala na agulha. Se souberem de algum, indiquem, pfv.
good job
this video sets such a great atmosphere, nice work!
J'adore, excellente vidéo, j'ai jamais vu un mec aussi bien gérer le fixie, respect Cooper Ray
Beautiful just beautiful!!! I loved watching, listening!
I was so relaxed, and suddenly: 0:41
Feels like a great juxtaposition to the Hotline series. Well done dude.
Art.
Smooth as hell
I dig the close call quick time shots you've implemented. Good stuff!

Amazing video, ride, and music!!!
One of your best videos
Sweet skills, both of you.
learning a looot by the way cooper cuts through traffic. really inspriring and am practicing day by day.
so smooth...
Sublime... Love these videos. Such smooth riding & the way it's captured is good too.
Thanks. Keep it up :)
I always love the follow-rides, slow and fast but I would have prefered this in colour!
Black and White gives more detail and makes over-exposure beautiful
Is this video type of meditation?
And I don't know how you came across the music used, but it works really well!
Mesmerizing ride man, love it!
Best relaxation video ever! :D
Love the soundtrack!
the best content on the whole youtube

Ayy I just ordered that Stay Alive Studios shirt yesterday along with some of their stickers! They do some great work.
Great video, super chilled. Anyone know what the second track starting around 7:25 is? Any help or info would be appreciated.
How do you record without any windnoises!?
poetry.
Yes, video of fixie
Hi Terry, always enjoy your videos but this is one of my favorites. Where can I find the first track, love it. Greetings from Uruguay
Terry, this is f@cking good video .The music is perfect.I like the fixit more and more...
