@santiagosolisrodriguez758 - As opposed to a number of U.S.-supported right-wing dictatorships that did the horror and embezzlement of humanity especially in the Third World!
You sound just like a typical apologist for the Cuban regime, twisting facts, deflecting blame, and avoiding the real issues. Don't insult my intelligence by trying to manipulate the situation in Cuba and pin everything on the so-called U.S. "embargo." Cuba has the freedom to trade with many countries that don’t have an embargo with them. There are plenty of nations willing to do business with Cuba. So stop using the embargo as a lame excuse for the country's dire situation. The problem is not the embargo-it’s the regime. The Cuban dictatorship doesn’t allow its own people to work their land. Cuba was once a global leader in producing sugar, tobacco, and coffee, but now the regime prevents the Cuban people from working their fields, leaving them unable to harvest the resources that could support their economy. You can't tell me about Cuba because I lived there. I am Cuban, and I still have family on the island. I’ve seen firsthand what the regime does to its people. They cut off electricity every day. That’s not the embargo-it’s a government that is heartless and indifferent to its citizens’ suffering. It’s easier for communists to blame external factors than to take responsibility for their own failures. That’s a hallmark of totalitarian regimes-they never hold themselves accountable. I’ll be honest-I wish Fidel Castro, and all those who have upheld this Marxist-Leninist nightmare, would rot in hell for destroying so many lives. As for your comment about corporations, let me set the record straight. I work for a corporation where the CEO is a billionaire. Do I resent him for that? No. I don’t care how wealthy he is. What matters is that I have a job, I can provide for my family, and I live comfortably. But my family in Cuba doesn’t have that luxury. They can’t even get access to basic necessities, all because of a regime that prioritizes its own survival over the well-being of its people. You wrote, “Who cares that when Batista was in power the Cuban economy was booming?” Well, the Cuban people cared. Under Batista, Cuba had a functioning economy, access to electricity, food, medicine, and healthcare. People were able to work in agriculture, with the big corporations, and actually have a chance to prosper. Today, the people of Cuba are being starved, oppressed, and denied even the most basic freedoms. You’re quoting what you’ve read about Cuba, but I’ve lived it. I know what the reality is, and it’s far from what you think. And don’t even try to compare Cuba to Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland, there’s freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and democracy. In Cuba, there is no freedom-no speech, no democracy, no elections. The dictator is not elected by the people-he is imposed. These are facts. So, before you try to lecture me about Cuba, maybe you should take a step back and consider who is really to blame for the suffering of its people.
@@leoN13312 you got to be kidding!! Don't blame the US for whats going in Cuba, and what the Cuban dictador is doing to the Cubans and the Cuban economy!! Easy to blame others than find a solution the Dictador never takes accountability for his actions, that's typical of the communist.!!

Note Castro never said a word about communism or being a communist nor did he declare a communist revoltion in Cuba; nationalization isn't exclusive to communistm. It did anger US companies in Cuba, and their influence may well have caused Eisenhower to snub Castro and cause him to move towards communism as one of his close confidants marxist Che Guevera wanted. Had Eisenhower met with and influenced Castro with aide; quite possibly he would have gone on a totally different path of a non aligned nation.

Lmao what
Y ahora como le esta llendo a Cuba? Alguien se lo ha preguntado?
And now how is Cuba doing?
