🎶Everybody!!!🎶 Great review! Though I'd have been more stingy with those precious gold stars! 🌟 It's a bit of a mixed bag, but nice to see a meter that's a bit different. 👍
Great review. For the right price, it could be a decent choice. It's a shame that voltage, continuity and resistance are all in auto mode, but for what looks like a hand-held NCV + Live meter, it shouldn't be critical. It could be a nice compact meter to grab and do some checks around the house. 👍
Looks like a rebadged Kaiweets KM201. It is aimed more at commercial / industrial electrical work, so is designed for handheld use with one of the probes in the holder. Continuity will primarily be for checking wires, contacts and fuses so speed is not a big an issue as it would be in the electronics world. The low CAT rating doesn't make it a good choice though.
Worse of the "smart" meter manual modes so far. Never combine voltage and resistance/continuity! Good NCV though, and fixed test leads make sense on a meter that size. It has a multicolor backlight!? Almost useless resistance range too. But hey...we need to see more tiny meters!
It was definitely *painfully 🐌 slow continuity wise Pete, but that's par for the course with most smart meters unfortunately. Still its got great NCV and all round decent performance so I didn't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater ! 😅
For around $12 after 20% discount I say its a buy. What interests me the most is the Clamp meter from the same company.
@@25hztolife14 OH yeaaa ! 👍
Nice review. It is a good advantage for this tester in tight spaces and for portability. Not bad👌.
Cheers! Portable, cheap and decent all around performance.

Mixed bag..definitely describes this meter!

Cheers! Gran n go meter is the best way to sum this test instrument up!
WOW "Schematics" in the manual. That is very unusual.
Got me... infographic sound better.😅
Wasn’t the Tesmen a band from the 80’s?
Hehe..Why am I watching a Flock of Seagulls video right now..😅
No that was the Chessman from the 50;s/60's - lol
It would have been more enjoyable if you had done some stripping at the end of the video ... with some wires!
Oh you're naughty! 😂 👍

You are exactly right my friend 👍
Well I guess I finally found a cheap meter I don't like at all 😂
Aww shucks! 😅👍

Great points 👉 no manual mode override is frustrating to say the least.
Darren, you know that meter sucked! The slow continuity is a 100% deal breaker, why not say so? Most people will be using it for that function.
