- Today I'm taking a look at one of the craziest sneakers I've had in a while. The Nike x Acronym Blazer Low Night Maroon. This sneaker is not your normal run of the mill Nike Blazer, this comes with a detachable heel clip & the option to 3D print any design you want to replace it with. This heel clip also acts as a shoe horn making it easier to slip on and off with ought having to use the laces.
Over all its a very interesting sneaker that Acronym & Nike have had in the works for a long time and now its here.

Nice overview! RE the cut-outs - they're inspired by ghillie camouflage, which is a motif you also see used over the accompanying clothing collection. They're also shaped in such a way that they form the Acronym shuriken logo on the upper, so you're right to recognise that the cuts aren't random

Not a fan of the shoe, but love collaborations that take chances. They swung for the fences on this one no doubt. The 3d printer aspect is🔥🔥
These def look interesting. I'm kinda diggin' them, especially the ability to 3d print your own heel clip. I'd love to see what others have done. Btw, has anyone made spurs yet?

Really wish they did a different colourway. Love the silhouette but both the colourways are way too hard to pull of for me
to be fair I could imagine some hard colour ways they could do on this silhouette
I think the green and black is a lot easier to rock though. The maroon is nice but it’s a little much. Though it is pretty typical for Acronym I guess.
There is also a black and white one this one is more in style with Acronym
I feel like I’m going crazy these are dope . I got a W On sneakers . No one else likes them. They are different and with the right fit and how they look alone it Deff attracts ppl attention to figure out what’s going on . They are futuristic looking . Remind me of back to the future . The designer is Deff thinking ahead of what shoe may loook like decades from now while still having functionality

I actually love this sneaker! I think the creator of Acronym stated it best when he said people aren’t always going to understand his Vision all the time! I’m fine with that because I was able to cop them!

I love these. Got them in hand and they do not disappoint. Acronym still killing it. All black outfit for these. The plus of potentially being able to 3d print the heel clip is genius.

I love these shoes! I bought them for the sheer fact that their unique. It’s one of a kind and eventually, they’ll be worth some money. I collect shoes. I loved the video and how you described every detail. They’re truly eye candy and people will comment on their esthetics.
Me being huge into Bladerunner and Cyberpunk aesthetics, these were a must have, crazily enough I took a W on both colorways. Now I just have to figure out wth I’m going to wear with them 😂
For those that don't know, the reason the distressing on the sides are those weird cuts is so they could cut in Acronym's wonky ninja star logo and also to match a set of pants & jacket Acronym did that are ghillie suit inspired and feature a line of that same distressing along one side. Love how even the swan was impressed by them. I got the olive pair & have been having a blast designing, resin printing, and wearing my own clips on them.

They are definitely an acquired taste but I think the creativity and modularity are really cool. Thought these would be harder to get so i hit on like 3 raffles 😅

These grew on me the more I looked at them.. getting them in person and WOW. Absolutely wild shoe, completely love it.
These are great futuristic looking shoes I do own these … but these are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn these literally have ripped a skin off my feet … in a way no wonder why these are so “cheap” but at the same time for something so uncomfortable these are way to expensive… I’m not sure why someone would release these, nothing futuristic about that

Really love the 3D printable heel cap, I can easily pick up this shoe and commission someone(3D modeler for stuff like Warhammer figures most likely) to make 5-6 different designs for me to wear. Still a bit undecided as to which colorway to go with. Sitting below retail for now.
The starting colorways look a bit too muted, first time seeing a light green / Black colorway attempted and yeah wish the colors were different. Very unlikely to get additional colorways due to the current prices of the shoes but I will remain hopeful that it happens.
The "weathered" upper is also a bit annoying at least it resembles something and not wear and tear? It is unique compared to other shoes so I will give them that.
Do you think that this shoe is suitable as a "summer" Shoe? Will it nreathe /.respirate because. Of the extra, added suede material. Om the top? THX
I really like the acronym vapormax and presto but these are trash 🗑, not an aesthetically pleasing shoe, the heel looks like a walking aid for someone with Achilles problems

I got the black version of these and I'm not sure how I feel about them but am definitely excited to get them in hand, if I don't like them I'll sell them/send them back (size 9.5US from canada if anyone is interested)

Yep, it took 20 minutes before they grew on me.

I feel like nike shoes gets overhyped by people quite a bit. these aren't bad but if the same collab were on an adidas campus(a similar shoe imo) the same people say they're fire would call it trash.
