    Wow, 11 years ago and still going strong. This is my next dream car and it will happen. Great with Richard giving his Owner input. Wonderful dialogue and verbal exchange. I'm going back for a second viewing. Rock on The Open Road!

    I had many choices of prestige cars.Ferrari,Lamborghini etc.I bought a DB9 because I was born in the sixties and grew up with 007.My life is complete.

    hows the body roll feel when doing a high speed highway bend? Cool for cruising and making use of the not bad speakers.

    Wish it were possible to have British looks with Japanese reliability.

      @bigmacdaddy1234 8 років тому +3

      lol..Japanese reliability? Seriously. You clearly need to watch the news more often. Toyota, Honda and Nisan are plagued with issues. They have exploding airbags, brake issues and cars turning off issues.

      +mac daddy Right and thats why the Camry and Accord are the best selling cars.

      Chrisdt Brown Best selling does not make it good, it just means a lot of people buy crap. just like Justin Beiber- his music is crap but people buy it.

    • @5425pd
      @5425pd 8 років тому

      +mac daddy Best selling means people buy what doesnt cost them a shit ton of money. theyre bpring as fuck because they just work. you cant fight that. the Accord is a masterpiece for economical and reliable cars. sorry id drive the aston martin anyday but thats me getting in debt

    Useable as an everyday car?

    • @xxMBH427xx
      @xxMBH427xx 10 років тому

      You wouldn't want it as an every day car, nor as your only car IMO

    • @Mrpetow
      @Mrpetow 10 років тому +2

      very usable as an everyday. Cost of maintenance is much lower than other cars of its class. If you can afford to buy this car, you can afford to drive it every day. If you look to find the least expensive way to do so, however, you may want to reconsider.

    Hello Thomas... I have been watching some of the Aston Martin DB9 videos and I see your comments about how bad they are on almost every single video. I know that the built quality and fit and finish of British cars are not like of their German rivals, however, have you ever thought that your car might be a lemon. I know of fact that there are plenty of Aston Martin owners who drive their cars quite frequently and put plenty of km on them and the only thing they do is just an oil change every couple of years. I don't know about your car in particular, however, I think your car might be a lemon. Every car manufacturer even the German ones have produced and still do a lemon 1/5000. And if you check Nick Murray's channel you will see that he had bought a brand new Porsche 991 911 and he had tons of problems with the car... but that does not mean that ALL Porsche cars are built badly. BTW, I am not British and I am not defending any car manufacturer here, just saying maybe you are an unlucky guy and purchased the wrong car at the wrong time... Just your back luck. I wish your car has been fixed by now and you can drive that sexy car and enjoy it... just drive it and enjoy it as much as you can... all the best.

      I have one (a Volante). Or at least, I OWN one. It spends so much time being repaired that, quite literally, the service department's had possession of the car for more time than I have. Within the first month, the passenger's-side airbag and backup/collision avoidance sensors had to be replaced. The passenger's side window was not properly aligning and an oil-line was leaking. I jgot the car back (it was in service for 33 days) and then discovered that, whenever it rains, the boot takes in water and the carpet gets soaked (so it's going back again this weekend). These cars are beautiful and the engine note is intoxicating, but they're not that well built and aren't sports car. They're luxury GTs, so they ride and handle much differently than how you expect them to.

      @doubletapproductions 10 років тому

      Wow, thats surprising, I still want this car and I hope not all are like this, maybe it's just the Volante? Idk, but this still wont stop my dream to have one :) thank you for the info though

    • @ThomasFerrugia
      @ThomasFerrugia 10 років тому

      doubletapproductions: Nah man, read the Aston forums. These cars suffer from all kinds of quality and build issues that wouldn't be acceptable on a Sentra, let alone a $200,000 supercar. Plus, repair costs are outrageous; few independent mechanics will work on them (at least for complicated problems), so you're always using the dealership. I'd never suggest someone give up on an ambition, but I just wanted to let you know that, as usual, the dream is far better than the reality.

      Damn you sound like your right, That really sucks, I thought it would be built perfect and last a long time! No wonder people sell it with so few miles on it. So are you saying you wouldn't recommend this car?

    Cows that have never been around barbed wire... wow, just so silly precious! Especially given that I grew up around a ranch raising livestock. Spoiled leather. You don't want a Wife like that. Trophy Wives are great but not so practical.

    To mention a Corvette in the same sentance as a Porsche Turbo is and insult.A Corvette is a mass produced piece of shit.There is no comparison between them.One is class and style the other isn't.
