I have just ordered a 99.5 calibre Dornblüth also with the silver applied numerals and white dial. I keep coming back to this video because it is a watch that looks similar to the one I ordered. However the lead-time is one year now so its going to be July 2022 before I get the watch.
@@johnayres2303 did it arrive? How does it look? Did you get the 42 mm version? I hear it wears big. I'm torn between getting the 42 and the 40 mm. I generally like slightly larger watches. But just not sure if this wears a tad too big. Please share your thoughts.
The fit and finish is amazing ! wow , look at the gleam of the laid-on indices ! the spiral polish on the wheels, the blued screws and the hands and the delicate decoration on the swan neck !!! Thios beauty will do any collection proud !! is this a 42 mm piece ? Isnt it a bit noisy while winding ? I suppose that is normal for hand-wound watches.
Most likely "30 to 50 Meters" although they probably tell you not to swim with it on. It's a hand-wound dress watch and they typically aren't built with a lot of water resistance, even from high end manufacturers such s Dornbluth.
@@UA-camComments I've owned my Cal. 99.1M for around 3 years now. not long term but it's absolute perfection. Pull the trigger. You won't regret it. One of the most specials watch on the market and amazing Company with real old world customer service. I'm planning on 99.6M next.
equal?????They both have same accuracy, that is about it! A $50 chinese watch can be regulated to even give better timing than a $5000 watch. Your point?
absolutely gorgeous!
Wunderschöne Uhr....und endlich mal ein Filmchen OHNE störende und unpassende Musikuntermalung. Äußerst angenehm

Wear and enjoy your watch in good health 👍
@@scottlalonde2878 Just one month to wait now, I hope. I just had to approve the engraving of my initials.
@@johnayres2303 Congrats, I'll bet it will be amazing! Would love to hear your thoughts when you get it👍👍👍
@@scottlalonde2878 Yes Scott, I will let you know when I get it, hopefully sometime in July.

what a beauty!
Beautiful watch -- just for reference, what is your wrist size?
I'd be interested to know as well.
Wow.... absolutely gorgeous.
Very nice watch ❤
Why is the power reserve winding from 40 to 10?
Do these watches have to be wound this way? He's turning the crown both ways.
You're right, only one direction is the correct way to wind a HA watch.
What's the water resistance on this piece?

The answer to your question is: no.
Beautiful watch🙂
Magnificent

@@tkielas thanks!
@@tkielas do you own a DD watch? I'm very intrigued and might pull the trigger but wondering if anyone has long term experience with one...

Exquisite
It's really nice, but a non hacking seconds hand on such a watch is a shame...
they have hacking now.
Your wrist appears thin, but your breathing like you are heavily overweight. You alright buddy?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Steinhart is equal. Read about in the forums.
