Thanks Paul, yeah its a lot of hard work mate with all the casts but definitely rewarding when they launch out of the water to eat the lure. There are so many failed attempts when the spanish try to eat the lure so its nice when they connect and its a good hook up. Tight lines pal.

I can’t catch a mackerel, been trying for years but not even one little one. They are so rare in Qld

They congregate on the shallow reefs mainly in 20-40m of water. If you find yakkas or slimies you should find the Spanish not too far behind. Happy to be more specific if you PM me on Insta 😀

@@johnnychowjc it’s not that deep here, need to go 60km out to get that water depth. I only go out 25-40 km so the water is still only 4-6m deep

@@anthonyleavey7514 where are you based mate. Usually the outer reefs on the GBR all hold Spanish on their day.

@@johnnychowjc Yeppoon. The outer reef is 300km east of here. Far to far for any trailer boat
