Hi Gary and Nicky. The snow looks so lovely when you don’t have to travel in it. I remember that it was very short lived though. Nice vlog 👍Take care. Nick
Very much a beautiful wintery cruise, from the warmth of my home the canal shows her beauty still. The Cut never ceases to amaze me, along with the Captain of Chugabug.
I love Noah's Snowman! You're brave to be traveling in the snow, but I understand why. Sometimes you just have to do what is necessary in spite of conditions. God bless ❤
Hi Gary looks beautiful in the snow on the Llangollen canal,I’d do the prees branch if you can later on it’s worth doing it,take care in the storms today 😊
Well done Chugabug, I would say that could be voted the Vlog of the year. Camera caught the scenery really great. it was like a rolling Christmas card. Thank you for braving the weather. best wishes.🤠❤
Hi Gary & Nicky...thank you for a great vlog of your cruise along the cut in the lovely snowy wintery scene...stay safe and we'll hope you got through Storm Darragh if it came your way...😊
we have heavy rain the storm is with us dark and rainy , got a appointment with great grandson for local panto in Rugeley this afternoon hope to get there . I think I have the cold coming , which is doing the rounds. magic snow ooh , pretty on photos only . take care
Well, you certainly experienced more snow than me , it was two days of wintery weather and then it was gone , the best place for snow is on Christmas cards, photographs and youtube of course 😁 ( I'm not a fan of the stuff ) . Take care .
Thank you forthe beautiful snowy scenes helps me to feel cooler. Sorry for ? the possible thumbs down sign, I pressed the wrong button !!!. You deserve the thumbs up sign always and I love following your journeys from Adelaide Sth Australia. Happy Christmas to you all 🎄
Your weather looks like it did here yesterday (December 7th)! Not a "winter person" myself but I deal with it... Some find it enchanting... but I am heading into the 70th one that I have endured... I suspect that the charm is wearing off! Snow as it may, at least you are not "ice-breaking"! Was there ever anything like a canal icebreaker when these cuts were mostly industrial and commercial? Certainly there must have been spells when the canals froze over thick enough to hinder transport of goods.
Morning from NZ, we have just watched your video, can you advise how you do the mapping thanks Pam & Keith, lovely watching the snowfall as we sit in sunshine
@GaryCaptainPhillips ok thanks we'll look for it hope to see you next year on the cut NB: Kunekune- Merry Christmas to you all from downunder 🥝🥝🥝🥝🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
Hi guys love the snow the scenery is beautiful just watched Noah on an arrow boat and I've seen you guys put Christmas lights on chugga bug so am I guessing that Noah's vlog is in December where as your vlog is still in November which can be a bit confusing sorry I am also going to look for you guys on Facebook still enjoy your vlogs though.
So pleased you enjoyed the vlog and you're correct in saying that Noahs vlogs are more up to date. We do share a lot on Facebook so it would be lovely to meet you there
Hi Gary, I've been looking for a new horn for my narrowboat for at least the last year and can't find one I like the look or sound of!...However I'm loving the sound of yours so would really appreciate knowing it's make and where you bought it. Keep up the great work with the vlogs and I hope you all have a great Christmas, thanks Brian
Hi Brian, im so pleased you're enjoying the vlogs bud. We got our horn from Venetian Marina chandlery (£18.95) and its a better. I'm sure if you contact them (Ruth & Richard) they could forward one on to you
One way to readily gauge the temperature is the size of the snow particles. Yours look fairly large (and wet!) indicating it is not "perishing" cold and the water points were probably O.K. ...FOR NOW... No ice on the cut but you have to go "with your gut"! Long range armchair gongoozlers like me are not there getting pelted!
Hi Gary and Nicky. The snow looks so lovely when you don’t have to travel in it. I remember that it was very short lived though. Nice vlog 👍Take care. Nick

There were ice breakers on the cut, you could identify them by their very thin and pointy bows
Morning from NZ, we have just watched your video, can you advise how you do the mapping thanks Pam & Keith, lovely watching the snowfall as we sit in sunshine
Nickys the one in charge of the tracking apps as I'm useless, im sure it's called Relive

@@GaryCaptainPhillips Thanks Gary, I see Richard occasionally so will have a word when I see him next.
P. S. Hi Andy
Hi is there any way of watching your videos in order. We’d love to watch them from the very first one but just jumps fro one to another x
Yes there is... if you go to my home page for Chugabug and click the videos icon they appear in order
Thank you so very much!!! Hope you are all well and keeping safe. x

We after found out that boaters had used the water point and it was fine. Bettisfield does freeze easily though as we have found in previous years
Take your hat off and I'll donate money
Lol I've wore my hat before I was a boater
