- Comparing my trusty Iphone 13 Pro to the newly released, hyped up DJI Pocket 3. Which one has the better video quality?
Everything recorded in AUTO. No color grade. No adjustments. Everything shot in 4K60fps.

So, my opinion on the Pocket 3.... it's great as a tracker. It's great as a 'vlogging camera'. It does make skin tones too bright when using the auto settings.... and even when you go into manual mode and fiddle with the exposure comp and white balance, sharpness and all, you still can't improve the image much at all. A lot of comparisons on youtube showing it is superior in low light to Go Pros....which is true...and superior to Iphones....but that's if you're using the front facing camera on the Iphone. If using the main rear camera on a fairly new model (like 13, 14 or 15), it's about a tie. The Pocket 3 has a wide ass focal length of 20mm which is perfect for vlogging....and not much else.... as it distorts the picture ... if you're not standing in the center of the frame you will be distorted. It's still a fun little toy, though, and I'd recommend it if you like gadgets. But, if I could just have my Iphone camera or the Pocket 3, I'd take the Iphone.
I really appreciate your oppinion, I bought an iPhone 13 and for a moment I wasn't able to know if I waste my money. 😂

just when I think it’s camera 1, camera 2 looks better in certain lights. For me it would come down to what I’m using the camera for. Just to save space on my iCloud and phone I would probably got with the #2. I’m a gadget freak by nature.

i think if you have iphone 13 no need to buy pocket 3 .if not go buy one if you are vloger if not iphone is great choice for youtube studio indoor videos .
To be honest, iphone looks better with good bokeh effect. The cinematic video quality of iPhone is far better than pocket 3. So if u own a iphone 14 or above, dont waste money on dji poket 3 , Rather get a decent gimbal like hohem isteady m6. Saves a lots of money.

I returned my DJI Pocket 3. 1. Each time I put it away into its plastic housing I needed to force it.
2nd: Low light performance is spectacular BUTT daytime sun washes everything out. Since most of my shooting is during the day here in Hawaii, most of my shooting was worse than a GoPro.
Lastly, The rolling shutter sucks. Moving around I can see the jerks and gaps. -just sayin

@@ramanduright. When it comes to amateurs, they’re gonna grab the iPhone because it literally takes all the guess work out of it. But the small phone sensors will not give you the type of image the 1 inch CMOS sensor of the pocket three does. Not to mention, viewing all of this on UA-cam with their compression is not an accurate example of any of these sensors.
First off, great song choice! Second, I could tell by the second scene camera 1 was the iPhone. Neither look great but fine for vlogging. Hilarious to see UA-camrs with $5k worth of gear to talk to a camera 😂

DJI colors look very bad. Iphone looks better than DJI.
Try shooting in D-Log M with the iphone ...just saying.
