Thank you immensely Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce!!! You have given Jamaica and the World Greatness and Class personified. You are an assassin and Lance described it well. When that pretty face touches the track in a global championship, the ferociousness in which you attack the event gives chills. We know when you touch the track, you mean business and unfortunately for your competitors, they get the spoils. There is no 'arguably' when it comes to your greatness in sprinting because the facts are that no woman has won 2 gollds, silver and bronze at four Olympics and no woman has won more than two golds. In addition to the Olympics, no woman has won 5 World Championship Gold, 1 silver and not to be outdone, 1 gold in the 200m and 1 silver at both Olympics and Worlds in the 200m.
No one comes close in quallity and quantity of championship medals and that, along with your constant pursuit of perfection makes you the greatest female sprinter and in my mind joint, male or female overall of all times. You are a true inspiration. Thank you!!!

on the Topic of who is the greatest sprinter of all time, there is no doubt that the great Usain Bolt deserves that title of GOAT because what he has been able to do in his career is simply phenomenal. Breaking the 100m snd 200m and setting world records is simply outstanding. No other athlete has come close enough to breaking those world records since his retirement from the sport in 2017. I believe that these world records will not be broken any time soon and the athlete or athletes who eventually breaks those world records have to be exceptional ly gifted and talented as Usain Bolt. And for that he is not arguably, but the greatest sprinter of all time

The order of Brianna, Elaine, shelly then Shericka wasn’t bad. They weren’t far off the record but their baton changed weren’t good. Baton changes are just as important or more, as speed. Take GBR for example, they’re always in the mix because their exchanges are great even though their collective speed doesn’t match up to Jamaica or the USA. Even China in the men’s equivalent can pose problems
@@platnumj Problem is JAM's 41.02 NR is still a massive 0.20s off the 40.82 WR! They've been trying that order for years now and can't get within 0.2s of it which means they need to try something else! The US Women in Budapest last yr running the right order won in 41.03 which is the 3rd fastest US time ever after their 40.82 WR in '12 & 41.01 in '16 (from Lane 1).

I think I’m confused. At no time did she say she’s retiring in 2024. She said that this Olympics would be her last (which is true, since she’d be about 40-41 for the next Olympics). She's the GOAT athlete in her sport. Serena is the GOAT in her sport. Diana Taurasi is the GOAT in her sport. Grouping athletes as the overall GOAT in their separate sports doesn't make sense. Also comparing female athletes to male athletes also doesn't make sense. Ms. Fraser Pryce hasn't won 23 Grand Slams on the tennis court and Serena Williams hasn't won 15 gold medals in track. You can't compare. And if you do, then Serena Williams has played for close to 3 decades in a sport that the matches can last for hours.
Bolt had maxed out, if he continued he would've been risking his health... blasting down the track at 35mph for 10 years ain't no joke. Yohan Blake's body couldn't handle it especially after injury.
