Great video. Your instructions are right on. My Ogiva’s piston is now as smooth as can be.

Thank you so much, friend. I started fiddling around and 😅 thought, O my what will happen if I keep unscrewing this, and I soon found out! I was able to put it back with your help. Maybe silly question, but does petroleum jelly work as good as the lubricant you used, are there alternatives? Thank 😊

I’m so glad these videos I made years get these random commends so many years later. I love the fact that I can help spread some knowledge and help someone else out.
Not sure about the change to petroleum jelly as I haven’t tried it.

Thanks for posting. I decided to clean mine and now have a problem. All good with your instructions to 4.00 when you say the the end screw will grab the piston threads. No way! To be honest I just don't see how they ever connected - although it certainly did. Any thoughts.....?

Paul Gregory have you test fit it outside the pen?

Hi. This was very useful. Any chance of posting a video that would show how to remove the clip and clean out the cap as well? There's a funky plastic cap piece in there, and the ink gets stuck between that and the inner surface of the cap, and is impossible the fully clean out.

I'm not able to twist off the section from the barrel. Is this usually the case when unscrewing for the first time? Is there anything i can do to make it easier?

Solved it with some hot water :)
