Hi very informative but my pen is a Onoto K1 and I cant remove the piston is there some other way to replace the seals as the thing is leaking behind the piston
I have never tried this but I think it should work as long as you add plenty of silicone great to the piston cap threads. Let me know how it goes. Worst case you just have to turn it back into a piston I guess.
Thank you so much for this video. It saved my vintage russian fountain pen ! 👍

Thanks! Can we do that with a vintage piston Faber Castell? I wouldn't want to damage it.
Hi, thanks for the video, I have a Senator Windsor, Pelikan M100 and M150 piston pen, Can I disassembly them using this technique?
Hi thanks for the video, can you tell is the Pelikan M200 piston filled pen can be disassemble by using this method?
Disassembly isn't recommended for M200 to M600 because the piston is held in by plastic tabs, and it's easy to break them.
Hi,
Great video.. I have a FPR Guru. I want to convert it into a Eyedropper. Can i can remove the piston and put just the piston cap on?

Can this be done with a Serwex 962? Mine has decided to start oozing ink at the piston knob at the back of the pen.
yep, the serwex 962 can be disassembled the same way
Excellent! Thanks.
Which are the pens you are dissembling?
The first was a Serwex 162 (no longer made). The 2nd was a Camlin 47 I think but may have been a Chelpark Moti (also no longer made).
Greetings!
Can I disassemble the piston in a Serwex 1362...?? Is the serwex 1362 “clutchless” piston?? Regards
+Re AlVe Yep, the 1362 is clutchless and can be disassembled!
Hi ..Kevin..Yes..It works...Thank you so much!! ;)
What if you're not able to unscrew it , for some reason ?
Some pens are not meant to be disassembled in this way. So you might look online to see if your pen is "clutchless"
