He is the first ever superhero who managed to settle down and live a happy life with his non superhero wife without any soap opera drama. In fact, it was because of this that they were chosen as the afflicted in one of the best superhero limited comic series Identity Crisis, which addressed what lengths superheroes are willing to go when their loved ones are being directly targeted and how being one affects your relationship with them. A must read.

Alright, I agree the idea of it is pretty disgusting. I would be perfectly fine with her summoning ice cream from her hands or something. But honestly, she isn't the mutant I want to get rid of. I can definitely say with confidence that I would have eaten the ice cream without knowing where it came from. But, if it's edible and has no apparent downside, I think I would still eat it.
