1:02 That pose is based on the artwork for BLS - Envoy of the Beginning 1:15 The front-facing pose on the left seems to be based on the pose BLS is in when he's first summoned in the manga, and the back is just a matching back pose. The next two are based on BLS - Legendary Swordsman and Evening Twilight Knight (a BLS support card) 1:22 I swear the pose on the right is based on something in the anime, but I can't exactly place it. It isn't the first time it was summoned against Mai at least. It also vaguely resembles BLS - Sacred Soldier, but doesn't match exactly.
Ooooo cool I stopped playing yugioh after magic ruler 😆 so I have no idea how often this monster reappears in releases. But seeing how nice this guy us heres hoping a buster blader release!
Wow was unaware this model kit existed may have to hunt down a copy since he is my second favorite Dual Monster ever with my number one being the Dark Magician
I live in Greece and this kit has 85 euros... which is equal to 125 Canadian dollars! That is outrageous, even for this model of one of the best yu-gi-oh card characters...
I love these kits! I am so tempted to pick them up. Just a shame they are so pricey for such basic kits... just cant decide if they are worth picking up over an MG kit. Thoughts?
It all depends on what MG you are comparing it to, some may more more extras and accessories than this kit making it more "worth it" if they are similar price. Though I did find this kit much easier to build compared to MG kits and I love the unique appearance. But would I personally choose this over the mg barbatos or astray red frame? No Lol
Rubber Duck squish! *Ahem!* By your the review, this is kit is 10/10 and I agree completely. Let's start by the obvious point: IT'S NOT THAT SICK YELLOW GOLD! HURRAY! While this gold is not metallic enough for my tastes, it's still a massive win that we can get this instead of THAT thing they called gold on the Alphamon and Imperialdramon kits. This kit seems to strike that perfect balance between poseability(is this even a word?) and playability. After I get my Metalgreymon, this guy is next on the list, hopefully I can get it before the year ends (shipping stuff to south america takes forever). That dark purple/dark blue is soooo damn pretty and shiny, it makes my eyes happy to see the light bounce off it. I really enjoyed this review and now I'm more certain than ever that I must get this kit (and the other 2 blue eyes). Now if only we could get a Red Eyes or a Blue Eyes Ultimate to mount the black luster soldier on... Thanks for the Video Van, awesome work.

I'm still skeptical abt the silver/gold, might need to check out a shop display. The ankle joint seems to be the standard for Figure-rise Standard ankles & wrists nowadays. For some reason FRS Ultraman Blazar (a kit out a mth b4 it), doesn't have the improved silver, but has wrist articulation similar to the ankle joint here, but they are tiny and somewhat unpleasant to work with, but allows the kit to pull off very expressive poses
@@vancyhobbies I made there was no nubs. It's the top of his helmet that is supposed to put the red eyes in. I tried to connected, but the gap was still there. I even took it apart too. Should I sand it a little bit?
Got mine yesterday and built it after work. Just like u mention in the vid, mine broke only in The head area by the helmet and one horn so now the helmet has a gap in it

Ohh So those joints are now standard for humanoid kit 🤔 and check out the kit in person, the metallics look better.
