My 80s dumble circuit sounds just like the hi gain clip, lowered impedance :)

Will the green channel have enough headroom to play clean at gigging volumes in a live setting? That is without having to mic the amp.

No experience with this specific amp but it depends on how hard your drummer hits! You definitely lose headroom on 15 Watters. In a band mix I noticed gain subtleties are not noticed as much as they are in person so basically if the amp can be set to cut through tone wise you will be at a higher gain setting in the band due to where you have to set the master to be heard..

G’day! Lovely demo mate! …oh snap, is that a hollowbody spruce piezo?

How does the K-Master knob figure in to the volume? I noticed it really didn't move at all in the video.

K-Master is designed to not affect the tone, just make the amp louder which is why we left it at the same setting for the entire video. Great question!

Ok sorry... what is the difference between the K-Master knob and the volume control?. I love the look of these amps and the fact that they are American made.... some day...some day!
Are there any pedals being used?

@@jegl1012 As a friend of John Thompson and a Bad Cat player, I can tell you there were no pedals used in this demo. (In my opinion the PRS wasn't the best guitar to demo this great amp with) Regarding your question about the difference between the K-Master and the Volume (Channel 1) and the Gain (Channel 2) is the following. The K-Master acts as a true Master volume unlike anything before without effecting the Pre-Amp sound.... The Volume and Gain pots in Ch 1 (Clean) & Ch 2 (Drive) effect the individual channels they are assigned to and their pre-amp volume/gain structure ... possibly not the best most definitive explanation BUT I'm a player not a tech. I hope this helps you to understand a bit better... These are AMAZING amps!! I play the Cub 40 Player Series live and in the studio AND I just ordered a Hot Cat 30 USA Player Series like the one in this video!!!

Is there a no reverb, tube rectified, *EL84* version of the hot cat? If not, can there be?

Yes, this one for example : reverb.com/fr/item/40153701-bad-cat-hot-cat-15-15-watt-1x12-guitar-combo
I had an old hot cat 15 in the past, sampson era, without fx loop and reverb, it was awesome !!
