- The plaintiff brings his former tenant to court. He claims the defendant never paid rent on time and then stole his belongings when he moved out, so she’s suing for unpaid rent. The defendant argues the apartment with unsafe and the plaintiff refused to fix it. He doesn’t think he owes anything.

Mama might be likeable, but she did a terrible job raising the defendant. He is too old to still be so useless and reliant on his mother. Had his number from the way they entered the courtroom.

"He didn't have to chase me. All he had to do was tell me the check bounced." The defendant seems to think that's not being chased. Anything other than a clean payment, which a bounced check is not, constitutes a chase.

Mistakes do happen like banks mess up or disability checks do get released late and under disability act were protected in new york.

Judge told the defendant to "ask your mother" but the sarcasm flew right over his head. LOL As the judge said, these two deserve each other. The defendant is far from being disabled but I'm assuming that he is claiming this condition to get government benefits which equals SCAM. The defendant is a 40-year-old grown adult & he really needs to step up & become a responsible individual. He is going to be absolutely lost when Mom is no longer in the world. As for the plaintiff, he sounds a little sketchy too. Yep, these two definitely deserve one another.

I love the judge so much ❤ She is so shady (“ask your mama”) so sharpe (how many people live there”) and yet so real (“I say something to my husband… what are you talking about”).
Everyone on this show is sooooo shady. I love it! The judge, ask your mommy. Kurt, shady intros. Harvey, TMZ. Doug, the king of throwing shade and dodging handshakes. Douglas, is the only one who acts normal, but you can tell he talks the most between cases.

I stay where I live because of my landlord. We have had our disagreements but it is a duplex and he lives in one and I in the other. He makes me feel heard and safety is a priority for us both.

As a human being, I found him disgusting. 39 years old and he's got an excuse- I lost my foot, I have ADHD, I had 190-something stitches in my leg, I was on crutches, my check bounced and he could have just called my mother.... does this tool know how to make a living and support himself?

The Plaintiff shouldn't have to chase the Defendant after the check bounced. The Defendant should have known immediately, as banks send emails and written letters when a check is returned. Also, why do I find the Plaintiff saying "I'm sorries?" so funny? The 2 litigants are definitely characters.

Wow you can still walk and rock back and forth. Looks like your disability of no foot really doesn’t disable you too much. Meanwhile my boss who is paralyzed and in a wheelchair with only one leg can still work 40 hours a week.

I dont judge. You never know how people are feeling on the inside. They may be looking fine and walking but maybe it hurts to do that on the inside. Dont get me wrong, there are people who abuse the system. But we dont know this guy enough to know which person he is
On the outside I look fine but I have fibromyalgia. Every step hurts and with my memory problems/brain fog I wouldn't be a good employee.
