I realize YT videos cannot go on forever, but in videos where you describe specific parts of your buildout, I'd appreciate if you detail your thinking and how you came to your decisions. For example, if you did a video on the layout of the van, describe why it suits you and the typical use cases (lounging, cooking, stealth camping, sleeping, etc.), and also, why other layouts would not work for you. There are tons of van tours out there where they show off their features, but they do not describe the decisionmaking that went into things. My GF and I are retiring shortly and will begin our van buildout. Understanding the "why" is important to us. Many thanks for the content and I hope you are enjoying yourself on the road!
Interesting story! Thank you. We bought a new 2022/23 Winnebago 59G in July 2022 instead of going through all of the work that you guys did! Wife just retired September 2022 after 45 years in Nursing (66) and I'm 68 and still working a little bit. Anyway, enjoyed your Promaster oil change video! Thank you. I'll be changing mine myself, so I appreciate you sharing your oil change technique. We still own a home and have no plans of selling it. We like having a home base. We previously owned a new 2020 Coachmen Freelander 22XG and enjoyed it for 15 months. We sold it only because storing it was a hassle. Now we can keep our Travato Promaster in our driveway, HOA approved. Thanks again. We subscribed to your channel.
I really can’t comprehend not having a plot of land with a structure on it as my home. I can only imagine what it has taken to adjust to an untethered life. So many thoughts, feelings and even fears that I’d need to conquer before even thinking about what you two have embraced. But there is also a part of me that is envious of the freedom that you have to experience life from anywhere you can drive! It’s good to see you two enjoying, exploring and even educating. Oh, is there a guitar anywhere in the Cubby Van?! Asking for a friend 😉!
@@ryanaraine everyone I’ve met down here in Baja with Starlink loves it but there’s a lot of conflicting advice about purchasing it here vs purchasing in the US and how long it will work and what the charges will be after crossing borders.
@@TheJoePokrifka thank you. We’re seriously thinking of moving here. It’s absolutely wonderful and we keep running into ex-pats who just adore it. What a great place.

Did I hear a Starlink mention?
Yes you did, however we do not have it. Wish I did. Maybe next year.
@@CubbyVanLife What's been the feedback/experience of van-lifers you've spoken to? Do they all recommend the Starlink Roam?
