Hey Seth I'm the one that cheered from the left side of the corall. It was a bit fustrating to be on the other side as I chose Rotterdam because we might meet. Then I cheered again when we crossed near the end and I was happy to see you well (with that impressive lady runner) I myself was able to run 2h58 with 100k of running in 2 months bcse of a bad injury, so very happy nonetheless!
Wow, you used a lot of my footage! 😍 Honored to be able to help a bit with your vlog. A bummer you didn't reach your goal but still a great PR and I hope you were able to enjoy the race.
65th! Congratulations Seth on your amazing achievement! You never fail to inspire! On a personal note… you got the happy water flowing again! We love you!
I was just about to write good luck but you’ve finished your race before I could eat my breakfast by reading the comments below! Congratulations Seth!!!
Congratulations Seth, great job and PR! Disappointed because I was not able to meet you, but happy because this race was just unbelievable, unbelievable atmosphere during 42k. Did this marathon because I knew you would do it, did not regret at all!! Thank you ☺️
So beautiful, Seth! It's literally a world-changing force when people get together to share the joy and love of running. Congrats on the new PR and rest well now aka enjoy spending more time with the family ;-)
One of my favorite vlogs ever (and I’ve been watching for over three years)! Full of anticipation, community, and my own memories of The Netherlands. Good luck Seth!
Congratulations Seth !!! Great time!!! I predicted 2hrs25min and 25 sec for you, so that’s pretty close he 😏😊 I was also racing today, my first marathon and it went great, i wanted to be under 4 hrs and did run the marathon in 3hrs 55min and 30sec so i’m really happy with the result! Thank you so much for yourre tips, advices, and support! Would love to meet you today but i didnt see you 😔 See you on youtube 22hrs xxx
Well done Seth! I ran Rotterdam in 2010 and it's my favorite marathon. Probably would have done it this year also if the knee injury didn't take place in August.
: 2:22hrs 😁. Great job Seth. I was not able to watch the race live but I was logging into the live tracker and watched your every 5K split. Amazing stuff!
I'm trianing for the akron marathon I ran it once a few years ago and now 8yrs later I ran all my young adult life and had a very difficult struggle with addiction. I ran in my 4th year of sobriety the akron marathon I had to bow out at mile 16, I had a lapsing my recovery and have been sober agian 3 years. I once agian will be running the marathon in my 4th year of sobriety this time I'm going to keep running
I was going to run my first marathon in Paris and made it to week 10 of training before tearing a ligament on my right underfoot. 1 month later and still recovering. For now it's gym leg strength training which I must say I neglected but am looking forward to the Athens marathon in November! Good luck in Rotterdam!
Michel Butter (my bread) has retired from racing and has a new job as co-commentator for the Rotterdam marathon. He was interviewing Abdi and Adbi at the finish line.
I was going for a time around 3:30… until 30k I was on track, then I expierenced an burning senstation underneath both of my feet and it got worse by the kilometer. When I got back home I tried to figure out what caused the burning sensation… After I ate the pizza I got it.. I have a low instep, both left and right. That's why I use extra insoles to absorb that. So I forgot to put those in the shoes… 😬😬😬😬 So note to myself… NEXT TIME PUT THE EXTRA SOLES IN THE SHOES
I just saw your race Seth, so I will nog guess your end time because I know it lol it was epic also because your were behind the no 1 lady that won the race and before the Dutch lady no 2 so you were in cam a lot of the time which was great to see. Well done and keep inspiring us !!
Hey Seth, I don’t mean to criticize, but I’ve looked up some of your running shoe reviews. The NEXT% v2 seems to be your top racer for all your recent races but yet on your full review, you gave it a 7.6… How is that so?
@@nickatnite16 yeah but it's okay... He did his best.... From training block to the race. It's not the result but the dedication and efforts that's how dgr works. DgrStrong💪💪💪.

COMMENT OF THE DAY!!!
@@SethJamesDeMoor Wow, thanks!
Good solid race seth
What was his time?
@@weekendkicks5964 2:22:18 - a PB. He was going for 2:19, but slowed down after 25K.
Thanks. Shaved a minute. It’s so hard to find gains at that end.
Looks like you had a great time, memories made. Good morning from Umatilla Indian Reservation!

I'm not gunna lie. If Paul starts yelling "Rhythm!!" over and over again...he gunna catch these hands in rhythm! Lol

Can someone share seth's marathon timeline? I'm sure he was a ~3:05 marathoner when first watched his videos
As the old wise man said: The marathon is half way over at the 20 mile mark. He also said that if you are not running, you are wasting oxygen.
How do you not learn from marathon to marathon. You had a lactic acid buildup before, now you have it again? What will your excuse be next time?
