Thanks Matt & Wil for covering the landyacht fulltime fivers for the wealthy. Now please don't forget the _rest of us_ looking for lower price point, shorter park-friendly fulltime fivers, who need office, pantry, & tanks space more than bunks or half baths. Folks shouldn't have to shell out over $200K for a desk/cadenza dinette in a 5th wheel. Thanks 4 listening!
Absolutely ... I think they mixed up luxury fulltime with the rest of us who can't afford $200,000 plus... Plus they are all huge... Not really good for fulltime travel... Maybe drive to a RV resort and sit there for months... Maybe Matt needs to go out and see the real people full timing and see what is actually important...
@@lifeaftereverything4986 Yes, I'd _greatly_ appreciate Matt & Co. noting 5th wheel *cargo carrying capacity* like they do in their motorhome reviews.
Agreed these are super nice because it's a condo on wheels. I'd buy one only because I park in the camping grounds for months on end doing travel nursing... it's my goal to visit and backpack all of the national parks so I figured minus well get my pay in too. These things are nicer than the apartment I rented in home town. Total seller if you want to feel like you're in home while on the road.
I believe wholeheartedly, that Andrea’s hatred of the crazy valance prints helped to change the designs to more neutral palettes. Thank you, Andrea!!! 🥰
We have a 2020 Cedar Creek 35LFT. It's a beautiful 5th wheel, except for the ugly print on the valances. I never understood why they use the most gaudy fabric in their designs, instead of picking something tasteful and neutral. I plan on recovering our valances soon.
The Riverstone 39rkfb wasn’t on the list, but definitely should have been. And probably at number 1. Also, Keep alliance off the list until they do full body paint.
It's #1 on our list. Not cheap, but one of the best jobs of delineating spaces in 430sq ft or less I've ever seen.
@@MattPritchardOfficial Drv is not cheap either but the quality is slipping
Love the 39rkfb. It's on my short list.
I like these a lot and appreciate the work you all put into the videos.
One small criticism: You and Will speed through most of your videos on towables.
I know this is a short type tour, but you left out 2 of the very important aspects to a "full time" trailer: Insulation and washer/dryer hook ups.
You fellas may love the huge TVs and body paint, but that has nothing to do with a liveable space.
Exactly... Not sure what they look at to be honest... A huge tv and full body paint are nice but doesn't make a full time unit... Having full timed for almost 3 years I know for sure that insulation is the most important for both hot and cold... I guess that's what you get from an RV salesman who doesn't live full time in an RV...
Beautiful 5th wheels but I'm disappointed that Grand Design didn't make the list!
Must have been running out of time for the Alliance review. Large residential refrigerator in the den. Might be a great new feature for full timing. Get rid of tv for food. Lol
Love the choices
Excellent introduction Matt; the first 35 seconds of this video give a great overview of what is coming next. Well done!
CROSSROADS REDWOOD SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE
Wow! That Redwood! :D
Great video! I love your reviews! Keep them coming! ❤️
Just the order they are in that redwood is awesome. I like it better then the beacon. Don't get me wrong the beacon is probably better built. I just like the lay out on the redwood
Thank you Matt! I think these are great choices for the too fifth wheel. Very good choices. Not sure which one I pick is the best best I love them all. They suites of suites. They are all great choices. Thank you Matt! Excellent fifth wheels!
Where is RiverStone!!!
I'm wondering why Riverstone Legacy's RKFB didn't make the top Five?!? With 3" insulated walls, even in the slide walls?!? Do all five of your top Five have that?
I agree!! Riverstone Legacy is one of my favorites. Have you ever shown one on your channel? If not, please review one.
How much
Forest River does not certify ANY of their 5th wheels for full time living.
Many techs in UTUBE say Forest River is crap
I love these short videos showing your bests. Would you consider doing this type of video but the 5 best full time class C’s for couples? Pleeeease
Grand Design Solitude?! Surprised that wasn’t included, great FT floor plans. Great company.
We're looking at a new one and Grand Design is in our top 2.
We love our Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel.
Gorgeous, just saw up in Tampa.
We were so set on buy an Alliance 385fl that we even went on the factory tour. The day we went to make the down payment on a unit, we were out on the lot talking to our salesperson when I spotted something pretty and shiny. To make a long story short, we bought a 2022 Vanleigh Beacon 41flb. There is no comparison in the quality, comfort, fit and finish. Oh and the full body paint!
Thank you for the video. The double sinks in the bathroom seems to waste space that could be better used. I love built in washer and dryer.
Hey Matt the one you missed is the best insulated for full timers and all solid wood no wood wrap is Riverstone
number 1 is number 1... that desk spot did it for me.... number 3 would be my 2nd choice i think..... all of them i would be happy to have.
All your video's are very good. You make it fun to watch.
Love number one the kitchen in the front is genius
Hello Matt! It was great meeting you at the Tampa RV show! I'm curious if you have done a video on 5th wheel to full time and work. I hope there is at least one toy hauler in there. I will search your videos when I get my computer back.
I’m surprised they didn’t all have W/D hookups. Saw some I’ve never heard of- thank you!
They all do he just don't show them all
I liked #3 the best.
Love this video and you also Matt!!
I love the alliance paradigm.... love them all...
That was awesome my favorite is #4
I am very interested to know about customer service & durability of these. I also agree that I would like to see some of the better models for mid range price points. $200k ugh!
Nice job Matt🎉
I really like the Redwood. The living room into the kitchen had no steps which I really like.
Matt your my hero!
Wow those window things are horrendous in the Beacon.
Awesome reviews! Thx
My # 1 would need a half bath in addition to a full bath but they were all great!
I agree with #1
What camera did you shoot this with? Looks great!
My wife and I went to the Hershey show last fall to make a choice on full time fifth wheels, and ended up ordering a Riverstone Legacy 419RD. What we liked about it was the quality of the brand and the rear storage of that model, I’m interested in your thoughts on the Riverstones. Thank you for your time Greg Tempel
I was wondering about Riverstone and Cedar Creeks as well. Where do they fall on the list?
My GF and I are looking at building a house and are talking about getting a 5th wheel to live in on our land until then. But I want a nice one with an actual bathtub for her. It will also need to hold 2 large dogs, 2 cats and maybe even a baby or two (Twins run in both our families) if we get lucky…
I lived in a 30 foot bumper pull for about a year and loved it. I still have the camper but I'm in a house now and I hate it. I miss my camper and just the possibility that I can uproot and leave in 30 minutes. I feel trapped here and I gotta get back in a camper
Your the best RV reviewer
I think the Jayco Pinnacle 36 KPTS is a good choice for full timing.
Matt I love your videos. But where are the Riverstones & Pinnacles?
Matt and Will another informative video. I don't always agree with your order, but these 5 definitely deserve to be on the list!
If only the #1 had a bunk!
How much 4 that redwood gorgeous??
First! Been waiting for this one! 😁
Matt's an excellent spokesperson/salesman!
Redwood is jaw dropping id wish they would place a bunk house to a similar floor plan
Hello Matt. I am curious to get your thoughts on the River Ranch 392MB as a FT 5th wheel. It would seem that storage is a premium for full-timers and there isn't 5th wheel on the market that can compare with the Ruver Ranch. Are you aware of any full-time people using the River Ranch?
We have a Montana 3790RD…..storage is epic on this thing too…..it’s a 2017 so it has the rear pass thru storage versus the slide out….
I dont undestend too murch english but i enjoy your videos
Luxe, Drv, Riverstone, Redwood, Montana...In that order...Not sure where you are coming from except for maybe kickbacks on sales...
I hope you’ll do a full time drivable for big families!
"Solid surface" countertops, as opposed to liquid or gas? 😶 Also what model is the shiny blue one?
I think the Montana should be first as it has the best logical floòŕ plan it looks and feels like à real home.
Man I like the beacon but would opt for a double office desk set up for me and my wife.
Not enough 5th wheels even have one desk, but 2 would be an even better option for the reason you mentioned.
Hi Matt. Thanks for the great update. My only comment concern is on the first three. How can you have any RV that doesn't have washer/dryer hook up as an option for full time living? You didn't mention it in the first three and that means they aren't even an option for full time living. JMHO. Again, thank you for this list.
The DRV has the washer/dryer hookup in the half bath.
The Vanliegh was beautiful
these are great fo couples, not for families. you should do a top list with bunk house.
#3
Where can I find the "VANLEIGH RV BEACON" for sale?
Wonder if some manufacture could do a rear kitchen, front living room and put the bedroom in the middle. 🤔
HOW is Luxe not on this list? It's an easy contender for top spot but you guys never mention them. It's like mentioning great places in Paris and ignoring the Eiffel Tower.
I think the top 5 campers should,ve put in reversed order but other then that those campers are indeed must haves.
Currently sitting in a montana!
What's the prices?
Need one for full time family's
Why no heartland? Or grand design?
I wood think that full-time RVing would have more to do with the insulation which was never talked about?
I like Luxe, New Horizons, and most of all, Space Craft. But, none of them are sold by dealers :).
I would have had 2 at 1 and 1 as 2. I didn't think the bathroom in 1 was as nice as the one in 2.
Prices??
I've watched a lot of these 5th wheel videos and the reviewers never seem to give you the price. If the price is not available at the time of the video then at least an estimated price would be appreciated.
Love your videos I would just suggest slower camera movements, a lot of spinning and turn and non stop movement. Had to stop the video to really be able to look and see what was filmed.
Try a KZ 382MBQ
I love these big tv's but I really hate thst they always use king size beds and take up all the damn room lol . Like an t.v. like this with a smaller bed and end tables on each side would be perfect.
The only thing missing in no.1 is side tables in the master bedroom.
What model is the number 5. Keystone Montana? You don't list the model or size. I like model layout.
DRV is so much better than the rest. Haven't seen any other brand that matches their quality - not yet anyways.
I'm gonna be honest here..... I respect the vanleigh beacon but for how large that kitchen is its incredibly stupid they put the sink in that island with no space around it for a drying rack.
The fridge needs to be on the other end also they interfere with the cabinets major f up.
The Riverstone should have made the list
Beautiful it's just too bad and I don't have a damn fireplace in the bedroom for that price you think they would
What about LuxeRVs
Wish you had given the length of the 5th wheels ,and slow down on presentation you even stated that you were going to fast .
You have to realize this is opinion based, I personally like the riverstone in this class.
Well well well alliance at number 2 and not one pinnacle unit I smell something fishy Difficult when you have custom built DRV, Beacon, Redwood as ultra lux. Then the luxury like Pinnacle and Montana. How Alliance got number 2 even though its a very nice unit. Not sure i can justify that with not 1 Jayco Pinnacle in there.
Totally agree... That Alliance doesn't seem to fit with the rest... And it's definitely weird that there isn't a single Jayco Pinnacle in the mix 🤔 most of these top 5 for 2022 have been way out there... Not sure what they have against some brands but it's fishy and getting pretty obvious...
Too bad your group doesn’t sell Riverstone - your missing the best one on the list.
Agreed. Love their floor plans
The alliance 2 . Wow . That was my number 1
Redwood should be number 1
kinda crazy for 200k youre getting a tv thats at most 50 dollars. the microwave looked pretty cheap too.
These are all “full time living”? Maybe for retirees…. Which is normal for decades.. the new full timing is with kids…
In my opinion the best full time that didn’t make your list is the 2022 KZ RV Durango Gold G382MPQ.. I have 2 kids that are far aged gaped 13 and 5.. the one midbunk for my teenager and the loft for my little guy… the design with all the light and black and the patio doors for the natural breeze.. I have back issues and so the tilted bed is like a hospital bed and is perfect and the fireplace in the bedroom for cold nights.. it’s just all around perfect.. I will switch out the dinning and chairs for an eat at counter bar.. 2-4 chairs.. and it’s perfect.. has great living space and everyone has their own private area on rainy days.. so important for nobody to be in your face… for your sanity when year rounding., just saying
I wish i can find a good 5th wheeler for around 50k
Luxe should have been in the list.
The number one choice doesn't look near as good as the others. Except for that desk.
When will manufacturers start ditching the outdated exterior "graphics" and give us solid colors?
That’s an apartment on wheels
You are showing ALL HIGH PRICED 5th wheels. There are a LOT of moderate priced 5th wheels that have GREAT quality and livability for full time. Me thinks you have sold out??
That DRV looks like hot garbage, especially at that price point. Redwood had a nice kitchen layout.
I think this pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security rather having different investments is the real deal.
This list is all kinds of messed up. First off,
#1 DRV. Hands down going to last the longest fulltiming.
#2 wasn’t on the list but Riverstone. It’s next up for quality.
#3 Redwood/ Better coat your frame.
4#Vanleigh. They care to much about the lipstick and glamour. They lack quality where
you can’t see.
#5 Northwood RV Arctic Fox
Why Alliance is on the list is beyond me, they aren’t in the same caliber as these others.
None of them had bunkhouses so this was full time for couples not families
