i cant believe this is from 1994. the 90s truly were a magical time for music
Yap. Twas my teenager time & i remember experimenting with Rhodes piano & a small kids keyboard while playing bass with my feet haha
Fantastic! That 'Hex' album is an absolute masterpiece I think. Thanks so much for uploading this.
I just spent today recording with drummer Mark Simnett for my @heldbytrees project
This is absolute gold.
There were so influenced by Talk Talk that they had to find a drummer totally looking like Mark Hollis 😂.
This is gold, pure ectasy, thank u. I love u ❤
Lee Harris did some of the drumming on the second album 'Codename: Dustsucker'
Their drummer's name is also Mark :)
This is historic.
They had this amazing way of making time stop right in the middle of a song. I didn’t even know that they had ever performed live..
Valuable video, never imagined this could be found!
Downloaded.
I’ve been listening to the guys for more than 10 years, but first time see the people who are behind this magical music 🌚🖤
I am sure there are some lost or forgotten old VHS tape which have the full concert
This is just great! Bark Psychosis is one of my tops.
2:40 the future is here
GOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!
4:51 close up of the sampler!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for uploading this!! Watched the two and a half minutes version for years now.
Amazingly Out of this world!
Still waiting on the third album. He said the gap between 2 and 3 would be shorter than 1 and 2. I love these guys.
Wait, album one was realeased in 1994, album 2 in 2004. The band is just shy of 9 years to fulfill this promise.
@@abluestreetscene scum has been listed for record store day this april!
2004 was 20 years ago 💀
It has been longer already
Just thanks. Amazing material.
I feel complete now
“Hex” de bark psychosis es como el “in the court of the crimson king” del post rock
Y no me cansare de repetirlo
it would be possible somewhere on the planet to have this complete show. Where can I find this whole show??
Holy shit, THANK YOU
thank you kindly!
wow thank you!
Please, share the entire show.
Thank you
I don't have the entire show, this video is only a montage combining the only two videos of Bark Psychosis live that I found on the internet.
este material audiovisual es absolutamente fantástico. increíble. maravilloso.
this is like stumbling round you attic and finding a missing fragment of the rosetta stone
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
*Please* tour with dates in Scotland. 🙂
Big man… if you’re up there. 🙏🏻
👇 Some background about this festival
As I read, it was happened in Moscow in 90’s and was mainly curated by fam Russian music reviewer Artemiy Troitsky
There were Aphex Twin, Seefeel, Bark Psychosis. Aphex Twin got sick because of bad food and got to horrible and funny hospital where he stayed lost from radars for 2 weeks
Tickets were expensive for music fans, so main part of visitors were criminals with their escorts.
Completely psychedelic things happens in Russia. For those who loves extreme and who wants to have something to tell to their grandchildren 😹
Where is the full performance?
I think I’ve found my community of people lol
4:24 That's it lad.
The date is wrong, it is 2994
A shame there's no bassist (synths and bass are backing tracks, I guess) and I couldn't hear the guitar until the end when the latter half of the clip was from a professionally recorded source.
I'm a huge Talk Talk fan... but one thing I don't like about most bands that tried to emule Talk Talk (No-Man, Bark Psychosis, caroline...) is how they're afraid to actually sing. I remember watching a video about Kurt Cobain explaining how great a singer he was simply because he gave it all, he didn't care. They're musicians, so they're all able to tune their voice with a bit of practice. All this mumbling makes it kind bland to listen to.
I love Eyes and Smiles, and there are many many great moments on their albums. But it would be so much better if Sutton actually tried.
I love the trumpet, it's stunningly close to the sound of Miles Davis.
what is the second guitarist playing? is his guitar even audible?
@@eliascastillojerez6778 I mean the guy at 3:56. That's not a bass guitar and he's playing out of rhythm with the bassline, plus he's playing higher notes on the guitar. The bassline might be coming from the sampler, which I think is also playing the synths electronic percussion sounds. I'm guessing John Ling and Daniel Gish left the band just before this show took place.
I don't even think the studio version of this song had any guitar in it, and the part Graham starts playing at ~ 5:25 min isn't in it (though it sounds very nice). I seriously think that guy's guitar isn't even plugged in and the show's organizers put him there to make them look more like a full rock band, haha.
Is the synth and bass track coming from a MIDI synth?
whaaaaaaaaat this is like shpongle but jazz. fucking nuts
predating silent hill here
Me when I hear the phrase big shot: AAAAAAAA
Terrible vocal, but great music. Hex is masterpiece.
Vocals are great! What do you mean?!
The most noisy and broken band passed as "good music" I've ever heard. Reminds me of The Shaggs.
Nah they're great
@@inika3 I've written a criticism over on my blog why I find the album incredibly faulty. It's like a bad attempt at Talk Talk's Laughing Stock mixed with PR propoganda that it's miracle water.
@@pilleaterNo one cares
@@wombaterror I've cared enough to writes a criticism of Hex on my blog. How much of it is really just English hype and Mark Fisher worship?
@@pilleaterNo one wants to read your blog nor do they care how many subscribers (probably botting) you have, bigshot. So stop posting comments on my videos about how big your ego is
Thank you for uploading this. I have never seen the second clip before now.
It's still unbelievable that we don't have full song's footage from this band. I know they aren't especially popular, but this was from 1994.
