woo because the self righteous people swear you are out of alignment with GOd when in fact it is them
Except we need to tread very carefully around people who say they are hearing from God, but diminish or even contradict the written Word of God. There’s a lot of red doctrine flags in this video, starting with “Jesus never claimed he was the messiah.”
My question is if she is christian why is she in hollywood ? I mean it's clear that it's the devil industry .
she is married to a pastor & filming movies that have sex kissing . let us not get confused here .
@@micalzeru9002 remember that being Christian is not just limited to being in church or in the comfort of our homes but we do have Christians in all phrases of work whether it be Hollywood,....Media.....Sports...etc.....that way people can be reach by the power of the Gospel and their lives change.....it’s a great thing to have Christians in those type of arenas so that they can shine their light in places of gross darkness

Absolutely love it... 💘 ....
I just love Megan’s spirit. Very gentle and kind.
Yes Megan gets it. To be honest, I'm so tired of us talking about BLACKNESS looking like a white woman. I mean really, is our identity of ourselves so unforgiven that we can't see beauty unless we look like our oppressors? If it's not the hair, it's the skin bleach or the makeup. I mean seriously, for one, it would take far less time to look naturally beautiful as oppose to fake; secondly our younger generation will think and follow suit which preserves our true identity and lastly and most of all....daring to be different because we are. As black women, shouldn't we look like we love ourselves to the point of self awakening, self awareness, self acknowledgement of SELF? I'm just saying, this moment in time is so OURS, since the Floyd situation gave us another chance at redemption (sort of)....I could only imagine US ditching the "cover girl look" to embracing the "Natural Woman" look. Now, that will speak volumes!!!!! We're all the power we need to change our circumstances. Loving ourselves shouldn't be this hard. I challenge all who read my little comment to be as unapologetically BLACK with yourself as you can. Cut out all that weave and rock a chop, crop, twa, curly naturale or gele for GOD sake. If we dont take a stand in our own personal way, we'll keep looking for a leader.

Megan prayed such a powerful prayer! Such a beautiful Sister in Christ.
@@ceoncruz9399 snaps!! There's so many things we can do to accept ourselves more boldly. I had to get real with myself. Like real question why are we so wrapped up in these weaves?? This is a real question.
@@WhealthyFit I'm glad you're woke now Mariah. I can't answer the weave question, I could only guess it may be laziness, irresponsibility or simply not loving one self enough.

This entire segment was nothing short of amazing, I don’t remember the last time I sat through a UA-cam video without skipping. Exactly
Wonderful job ladies!!! Meagan is such a refreshing spirit. She’s so down to earth.
Honestly. Seems so sweet. It’s not fair how much criticism she has faced especially from the church.
Constructive criticism is NEVER a bad thing, it's how we grow. Maybe the delivery is not what you want BUT how you receive it and how you choose to handle it should be between YOU and God. The church is not perfect, if it was then what would be the NEED of Christ. I don't know too much about her until she got married and I guess people may challenge her as it's not totally clear what she stands for plus she's a celebrity ALL of them get criticism.
Proverbs 11:22
Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without discretion.
Keep praying for her, yourself and the church that we respond to each other in God's Love and God's wisdom. We are all learning. The Holy Spirit is the teacher and reveals ALL things John 14:26 hence it is biblical to test the spirit 1 John 4:1 'Based on Timothy 2:9-10
What is proper for women who profess godliness? How does your thoughts , your choice of words and dress sense glorify God in aligning with HIS Perfect word. Start thinking that way and people will return some of their choice of clothing. If your heart is right with God he is faithful to complete the work he started in you.
I absolutely adore Meagan's look here
Effortless & refreshing!

I actually hate her look; she looks very unpolished and it's a distraction. I'm very disappointed honestly
@@carlottapitts8247 Look past that
Brilliant conversation. Not preachy or judgey, just honest. "Don't take too much of the praise or the insults." Jesus is REAL...that part.
💣💣💣
I love Meagan’s comment about competition and jealousy. John’s disciplines came to him and told him that the crowds were now flocking to Jesus. It would have been a time for John the Baptist to get offended because the Lord’s ministry according to John’s disciples was having a direct impact on John’s ministry. But John said essentially what Meaghan is saying here, “No man can receive anything unless it has been given to him by God the Father.” Nobody can take what God has for you. Our jealousy and competition is a poverty spirit... it a spirit that says I got to hold on tight, fight off the competition. That is not the faith that God will provide all your need according to His riches in glory.
This was stated so beautifully! You are spot on with your biblical reference. I believe many answers to the questions we have how to live a life that is pleasing to God can be found in the Bible. Personally, I’ve had a desire lately to learn more about Jesus and how he lived in his human form to teach me how to live better, how I should think, how I should speak, how I should treat others, and how I should treat myself.
💣💣💣
Okay, I was not expecting for the Spirit of God to be this thick at the end of this interview. I am sitting here crying like I just heard a powerful sermon. This conversation truly blessed my soul this morning. Thank you!

I felt it through my hole body. Like asking Jesus show me your real, how can we not feel and see him in every day life.
I teared up hearing about Meagan’s experience with the church. This conversation was so real and authentic. Thank you.
Yes. So many of us judged her. Myself included.
Church folk play a huge role in driving people away from God. They can be extremely self-righteous, hostile, condescending and disrespectful. None of these things even remotely resemble Jesus.
@@roots4140 do bear in mind that the Bible instructs Christians in righteous living. What do you consider as self righteous judging? I do agree that we are not to be condemning but in the scriptures we are instructed, corrected and judged.
What are your thoughts?
@@blanchet2531 But to do so we MUST do it in Gods wisdom when we are CALLED TO DO IT, because in our own unfruitful minds the enemy is bound to use your tongue to run off the very person he doesn’t want to get close to God. As a black African woman, I believe there is nothing wrong with weaves. It does not make one less natural or less black. I wear my 4c hair everyday and I am not a weave girl myself because I don't like them personally. But that does not mean anybody who loves weaves and wigs and makeup is fake or is trying to look like our oppressers. I get your point but I feel thats oppressing enough. We are talking about black women being strong, so allow the strong woman to make her own decisions about how she want to look without making her feel less of a black woman❤️

At the same time, i struggle with being true to myself because of the fear of judgement that i may get from the church. I'm learning more and more each day that everyone's journey is different! There's no right or wrong way to do it. All i can do is continue to ask God to walk with me and give me guidance as i light up this dark world! I really enjoyed you ladies today... keep doing what you are doing! So many young ladies need to hear what you have to say.

This discussion is so needed. I speak to my daughter's more than ever about their self worth. My teen-age son's although they listen to these current songs, they have to have a mom's playlist to play their music in my car. I talk to them all the time about the lyrics, derogatory statements towards women and how it turns their heart posture. I can't afford to stop covering them with prayer. I have chosen to surround myself with nurturing, healthy and uplifting friends and healthy boundaries... This came from unwanted learning experiences, but I'm learning, I'm healed, and I'm pressing forward. Thank you ladies for this discussion. I am glad that I stumbled upon this in my life's journey.

Shade room, one of the most powerful black platforms today, however runs a toxic page that doesn’t elevate positive role models, showcases Unrealistic and colorist beauty standards for black women and promotes (rather than ignore) misogynistic Black men (50, TI, Wayne etc) that disrespect Black women and their issues. Shade room can be uplifting to the black community but Unfortunately is not especially when it comes to black women. Anjelica needs to reflect deeply on the platform that she created and how it doesn’t ‘protect her/us’
Goes back to my educational videos on financial literacy... Thank you for enlightening us. ❤️
Shade room can be super toxic. She probably started it with that intention in mind but it has taken an ugly turn.
Amen, I was thinking the same thing. And wondering why she was included in this conversation as her platform is negative and is NOT ALIGNED WITH THE WORD OF GOD.
The Shade Room actual page and what’s being posted is not toxic. The comments are toxic which mostly come from black women. How can you expect a blog to uplift women when the women who support the page are toxic themselves??!!
If you look on TSR’s About Us page, it states that it’s users demanded more than just gossip. So, the intention was to provide gossip, which the Bible speaks against.
I just wanted to say that I see four beautiful Black women in a room empowering each other, supporting each other and allowing each other to thrive in the same space. I’m learning to love myself and love others in the same way as a Christian and a black woman, and this example is absolutely priceless. Thank you!
