WiipigX Just because I play a random sandbox game doesn't mean I can't enjoy other types of games. I like some puzzle games and Layton seemed interesting but I lost the game and haven't gotten any other Layton game.
I thought the "interesting" part is aimed toward the high tower-like structure. My mind translate it into, "Interesting. (I need to go there and see that structure by myself later on. Ah what have we here?) It appears..."

Same! My dad bought Professor Layton and the Curious Village for me shortly after it came out, and I remember thinking it looked incredibly boring. I decided to give it a try and ended up playing nonstop for three hours. Since then, I've played every game in the series! Seeing this video was a nice surprise :)
It's so different than any other game series. It made puzzles fun. That's a feat within itself!

This song made me realize that we need a layton collection for the 3DS. I mean, i really only played Pheonix Wright VS Professor Layton (Hardcore Ace Attorny fan), but it made me realize what a badass the professor is
I think we need more crossovers, but with trials that are more similar too regular Ace Attorney gameplay. Maybe solving puzzles at the crime scene?
You can play the old Layton games on the 3DS. I'd recommend them, game 3 is my fave (with their one in a very close second)

Even if I havent played the games (only watched Lets Plays, but only Phoenix Wright, if you dont count PLvsPW:AA.), I really wanna see them along with Zero (although its impossible at this point so I think I am gonna settle with Layton and Phoenix Wright for now), and plus, after PLvsPW:AA (I know not many people might agree with this, but it was the first time I had FULL knowledge of Layton`s personality. Phoenix Wright, I found his games much sooner so he doesnt really count), I can see them being together again for Smash so, yeah.

All of the games have fun puzzles and good story. I might just be a emotional girl but all of the games have brought me to tears. Never expected a puzzle game to have heart wrenching death.

I'm still quietly hoping he'll discover the Etrian Odyssey series some day, it has so many awesome, beautiful and epic pieces that I'm sure would sound amazing if he were to cover them ("The Withered Forest" and "Destruction Begets Decay" from the first one and "Forbidden Forest" from EO2, not to mention the third and fourth games and the remakes).
Still, in the end it's up to him what he'll choose to cover, it just disappoints me that those awesome soundtracks go largely unnoticed...
(The series is gaining a lot of ground recently though, with remakes of the first two games and the fifth game on its way, crossovers with Persona and Mystery Dungeon and NISA seemingly intent on localizing for Europe.)

Falcus Prime I had to stop myself from just listing off a whole bunch of songs in fear my comment might end up too long or come off as demanding, Koshiro's just that good. (That's why I only mentioned songs from the first two games)
Though there's also the issue of how easy some of them would be to cover, I'll admit not all of them seem fit for acapella, at least at first glance and to my untrained ears...
