This was the video where I discovered Touhou. Before then, I'd only heard the themes through Synthesia videos as a dumb kid who liked music and didn't know anything about the game or the characters. This video showed up one day in the recommendations; I read the title and recognized the song's name, to which everything fell into place and clicked. That was at least 3 years ago. In a sense, this video was absolutely a life-changer because it expanded my horizons so early on about games and music. I thank you for that, even if totally unintentional.
He did tackle the most famous/infamous song in the series already... I mean, between Death Waltz and McRoll Flandre's theme has had some... questionable publicity. Being a meme, Cirno and her theme might get a cover, but I wouldn't expect much more than that. (I can hope for more, though)

I remember when I learned a really complicated version of this song on the piano and constantly played it to impress people, thing is kids hands aren’t really meant for a straight 5 minutes of forte chords, I think I almost developed carpotunnell.
Yeah, and that wasn't HALF of the boss battle. Well, being pixel-perfect isn't the only thing you need in this game though, memorizing the patterns plays a great part in whether you succeed or burst into Power-Up and Score charms with a painful 'Pichuu~n' sound.
Typically in touhou games you don't have to be pixel perfect, since your hitbox is actually quite small. Usually you just need to be aware of what the fuck is going on.

Get the game, Start on easy mode, Use Reimu-Homing Amulet. Don't worry about pride just because you chose easy mode, think of it as a prolonged test run. All the games have controller compatibility (except 11 due to a bug). In options you can change your starting lives, put it to max so you can practice easier. Use continues when you need to practice later levels, but you can't get the good ending if you used a continue in your run. You get filled up to 3 bombs every time you die, use them like candy if it gets difficult. And DEAR GOD USE FOCUS, it allows you to make tiny movements when there are too many bullets(don't want to ram into any while dodging another.) If you have problems with a boss, don't feel bad about watching a video of someone else beating them, to see how they avoided the attacks. Some attacks go straight towards you when they fire, plan around that. If you fly all over the place when only homing bullets are fired then you'll have bullets all over the place, stay in one spot and move the least as possible to dodge each attack. The big thing about most of the difficult attacks are that they *look* impossible, so you panic, so you flail, so you die. Try not to panic, wait and look for openings. Most games have a gimmick specific to that entry (e.g. PCB has cherry points, TD has Border of Life), check them out.
It'd be wonderful if you could do some more Touhou acapellas, since this one is amazing! I wonder if you could pull off Reach for the Moon ~ Immortal Smoke or Hartmann's Youkai Girl...
