Mikołaj Zieleński ~ In Epiphania Domini 'Vidimus stellam'

Mikolaj Zielenski (about 1550 in Warka - about 1616), a composer who made the late sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
Of his life little is known, his name appears mostly issued in Venice in 1611 sets Offertoria Totius anni anni and Communiones Totius, but about his life we know only as much as he remarked in the introduction to the collection. It is known that he was a composer, organist and Kapellmeister at the court of the Polish Primate in Łowicz Wojciech Baranowski. Simon Starowolski, seventeenth-century historian recounts (in Scriptorum polonicorum hekatonas) that Zieleński for a time he studied in Rome - which is quite likely due to the influence of the Italian composer.
