The third goal Hurst controlled it with his arm. Today would have been ruled out by VAR. His second goal wasn't a goal either as Scottish TV clearly shows it didn't cross the line. This footage was never shown on English TV. Funny how Hurst was falling over with back turned away from goal and claiming he had scored it.

@@heisenbutt As we are dealing with old tech footage, the frames do not capture the point of impact, yet because of the ferocity of the shot, the ball would have splattered the paint on the bounce.
This means the centre of the ball landed the other side of the line. You cannot say that it landed Infront of, or on the line. This is what convinced the Linesman.
Other angles on other videos show the ball was mostly behind the line yet at its lowest point more of it is seen, meaning it had bounced. Maybe from above some of the curvature touched the line, but back in the day this was impossible. The officials were entitled to give it.
The footage of that goal looks weird. The shadow of the ball doesnt meet the ground. Almost as if the footage has been messed with somehow. I played it back in slow motion and it doesnt look right.

Having watched the 1966 world cup final on VHS many times, England thoroughly dominated the game and were the better team. You make your own luck in football, if you dominate the tempo. They deserved it. Maradona cheated to win his world cup 🤷♂️ he literally handballed it intentionally... Meaning he should be off and Argentina definitely don't win the World Cup without him. But fundamentally he cheated his way to a world cup too based on your hypothesis.
