Fantastic video Jean 🧡 23 years ago my husband and I had our honeymoon in Bali and absolutely loved our visit to Ubud. So sad to see so many businesses closed.
We were very fortunate to be able to visit Ubud at a time when it’s not bustling with crowds 🙏😊 but I do hope tourism returns soon to revive the Ubud locals’ spirits
Hi Jean I really enjoyed this tour very refreshing and relaxing, there's alot of beautiful scenery wow, impressive shot too, thanks for sharing your adventures with us 😃💯💯💯
Hello Jean, I am a new subscriber, American retired in Cyprus. i lived in Bali from 2005 to 2008. For me, the best part of Balinese culture was Gamelan and Legong. I attended many performances in Ubud and surrounding areas. I rented a house in Nyanyi for 1500 usd for a year. Went to Gili islands several times. Seeing your vlogs brings a lot back.
hey there! thanks for leaving a note to say hi! Bali all those years back must have been wonderful, pre-touristic overdevelopment i'm sure. Hope we make it oursevles to Gili soon!
If you have never visited Ubud, you have never been to Bali. It's the centre of the amazing culture. I miss the sensation walking on the street there and suddenly witnessing folk's ritual parade to temples.. lovely place to be on earth.
“Ubud” actually means healing/medicine in Balinese. Living in Ubud last year changed my life. I can’t wait to return home 💗✨Thank you for reminding me that I can make Bali home
Bali had been our favourite getaway from Malaysia as its not too far and cost is very reasonable a food is authentic & tasty too. Ubud is that good that we can fly to Bali and spend our full duration in Ubud alone. Besides the Bebek, grilled Pork Ribs is good too.
Okay that last part you guys enjoying sunset & drinking boba milk tea while dipping in the pool is a mood! 🧋 More videos of you two exploring Bali please!
Hi… really sad to see the Ubud’ market… without life … thanks to show the reality… and I miss balinese food, this food is amazing 🤩.. thank you very much to both for your very interesting videos, really… 😘… and hope to meet you both asap in Bali
Ok, the moment you said $34 a night, my brain went into an overdrive mode thinking how that's even possible. It felt like one of those moments in movies where 1 second turns into 10 seconds, and then you told us about the discount.
Hello, Jean !! UBUD area, BALI !! Wow lovely room and resort, great activities - meals out, nice market, town and old palace. Looks like you got Scottish weather, rain and sunshine ☀️ ☔️. Thanks again 🙏 😃. Cheers, Don 👋
It's truly great to see Ubud again (through your lenses). I have walked those streets so many times I have eaten in Casa Cafe after my Tjampuhan ridge walk quite a few times. It had become my second home 😍
